She provided us with very detailed reports of her daily encounters with our girl which really eased our nerves about leaving. She went above and beyond in many ways. Once by unplugging a candle warmer we accidentally left plugged in, and then she also noticed it was trash day and took our trash to the curb without us even asking. She also kept my plants alive which was a huge plus! Our stereotypical standoffish girl even warmed up to Emma by the end of the week, so it’s 10 stars from us and our cat, Forty. I would HIGHLY recommend Emma to anyone in the area looking for an experienced, caring, vigilant, and responsible caregiver for their pet. About: I have worked with individuals looking for dog sitting as opposed to boarding their dogs for several years. I have worked with experienced dog trainers as an available dog sitter and dog walker by reference. Your pup can stay with me, I can also visit your home, or in general walk your pup! I can’t remember a time in my life when pets weren’t a huge part of my family and every-day life. I have owned and/or cared for many dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments, as well as fish, hermit crabs, turtles, goats and horses. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, mealtime or cuddles, I treat every pet as my own, because I know how important they are to your family. I currently do not work outside the home, so I have plenty of time available to care for your pets most week days between 7 am and 4 pm. I currently do not offer care in home as it would be too complicated with my husband working from home and a dog and two cats of our own. I have reliable transportation and am happy to help care for your pet at your home by providing drop-ins and walks!

About: Dog sitting was my first job as a teenager, and is still my favorite job I hold. For years, family, friends, and coworkers have trusted their furry friend with me. I have volunteered with 4 Paws for Ability, take college courses on canine evolution, and have been professionally trained on dog behavior. I have worked with every age of dogs, from puppies to seniors. I am also equipped to handle disabled dogs, including visually impaired. I have the current ability to take care of your pups on your schedule. Whether it’s a morning potty break, an afternoon walk, or an evening dinner feeding, I’m available. My own dog, Walle, is a Labrador Retriever and the happiest boy. He has been temperament tested by multiple agencies, and is fully vaccinated. If your pup likes a play date or a doggie companion, Walle will be a great friend. If your dog is more of a solo animal, that’s also perfect. It’s up to you and your dog’s level of comfort.

About: I have had a dog in the home since I was born. My entire family loves animals, so we also grew up with cats and some fish. Starting when I was young I would take care of the family dog by taking her on walks and having play time. I recently raised a puppy with my dad or brother and he is a great dog that lives with my dad now. I have pet sit for friends and family. Overall, I love dogs and getting to hangout with them! I am currently a student in graduate school, so during the weekdays I am fairly busy. I have class from 9a-4p and usually get home around 4:30. Before and after class I am free and I am almost always free on the weekends. I have a green space right outside of my apartment and there is a dog park walking distance from my place. I enjoy going on longs walks and love to do it with a furry friend! While in my home the dog is free to walk around and be in any room. Of course I would respect the rules of your home as well!
