About: I have owned dogs and cats all of my life. They definitely play an important part of my existance. I live in an area that has lots of room for a dog to get exercise. I spend much of my time outside with my pets near my side. It is important to me that any pet I am taking care of knows that they are very special to me. Your pet will become as fond of me as they are of their owners. I have spent times watching dogs and cats in their homes. I make sure that they are not missing their masters by spending extra time playing and walking them during my visits, whether it is a day visit or weekend visit. I just love our fur pals. I only work part time. My husband is home until 1:00 p.m. and I generally work only until 2:00 p.m. But that is only from May until October. Your dog will have someone around 90% of the day. I have a large yard. It is not fenced in but I keep my visiting pets on a leash at all times. They will be close by to me at all times.

I’m very comfortable around dogs of all temperaments, sizes, ages etc. I have been a dog sitter/walker for many pups in the past! I also have experience with giving dogs medication (pills and shots), so I’m happy to help with that if need be! About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember—growing up with dogs, cats, and even reptiles! I currently have a boxer mix, a Rottweiler, and a rescue cat! I also worked at a pet hotel for two years, where I made sure furry guests were well-fed, squeaky clean, and had tons of playtime. Whether it’s a tail-wagger or a purring cuddlebug, I’m all about keeping pets happy, healthy, and having fun! With working part-time & going to college, I have certain availability. Here are my available hours! Wednesdays after 4:00 pm and Fridays-Sundays anytime! I am based in Macomb but I also offer services to Chesterfield, Washington, Romeo, Clinton Township, Ira Township, Algonac Since I offer dog walking and drop-in visits, I focus on keeping your pet happy, healthy, and comfortable right in their own environment. During walks, I make sure your pup gets the right amount of exercise, mental stimulation (sniff breaks!), and of course, plenty of love and encouragement. Safety is always a top priority—I stay aware of surroundings, and adjust walks to fit your dog’s energy level and needs. For drop-in visits, I follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding, playtime, potty breaks, or just some cuddle time. I always make sure water bowls are full, paws are happy, and your pet feels cared for and content while you're away.

“My dog doesn’t like strangers that much absolutely fell in love with Bradley on the first visit. Brad really cares about dogs and their well-being. He’s definitely not in it for a paycheck, but for the betterment of the dog. I would highly recommend him to family and friends. 5*’s”

“I can't imagine leaving Button with anyone but Lauren. She's kind, efficient, genuinely cares about how my pup is feeling and gives us such great feedback every single day that we're away. I feel so lucky to have found her!”

About: Through most of my adult life I've been responsible for caring for our families pets. This includes food, water, bathing and grooming, training, stimulation, medication, and anything else they may need. I mostly cared for dogs and cats but would occasionally help with horses. I often pet sit for my out of state family for long stretches of time, taking care of their pets needs and making sure they have a fun companion while their family is away. I work part time and make my own schedule, so I have plenty of flexibility to fit pet sitting into my routine. I can also work from my laptop while on the go, but pet's needs always come first. I have currently have a very energetic cat who loves to play. I'll play with her at least 30 minutes a day, though usually I'll keep playing until she loses interest. In terms of affection I spoil her all day and she loves it. When dog sitting for family I walk each dog 3-5 times a day, depending on each dogs needs. One dog I care for needs medication, so ensuring she receives it consistently each day at the same time is a priority. I find activities each dog likes doing and love spending time with them either playing with toys, roughhousing, or watching dog videos on YouTube, which one really enjoys.

About: I have had experience with multiple kinds of animals. I have a Flemish Giant (Rabbit), a dog (Chihuahua), and have had 2 (Parakeets). I also have some Vet Tech training as well but not limited to clipping nails, giving injections, bandaging, bathing, feeding, training, walking, and bottle feeding. I am available during the weekdays from 8:30am-3pm. I can also do some weekends if given advance notice ahead of time. Look forward to meeting you and your pet! I am always making sure to check for behavior cues of other animals if applicable when your fur baby is in my care. Securing leashes to make sure that your animal(s) are safe at all times, and making the environment animal friendly as well as comfortable for your animal.

“Molly has been walking bowser for just over a year now and he just absolutely adores her! She’s very attentive when it comes to your dogs needs and letting you know if there’s anything out of the ordinary. She’s always been always to help out last minute if it was needed or stop by again if I had to work late. She truly makes being a pet owner so much less stressful knowing you have someone with them who cares for them as much as you do when you’re away!”

Sometimes my schedule changes, so hopefully I can make adjustments if possible. I currently work full time in Detroit, packaging wound ointment called HoneyCure, for dogs, cats, and horses. I am willing to drive though, for pups who weigh more than 20Ibs. I’m experienced with medication administration, and I have knack for a pet’s body language if they are feeling unwell or have behavioral issues.

Joda V.
“As Joda moves on to bigger and better adventures, I am compelled to write my thoughts on her and what she has done for my Pet Care Business. It is the least I can do for all the help she has given me through the years. While I begin my retirement, I am not stopping until I give the respect where it is due. I had heard of this wonderful woman named Joda Viveiros in my large group of Animal Rescue friends and I knew in the back of my mind she was what I needed to complete my circle of first-rate pet care providers for my business. I tracked her down, hoping she was looking for work, and I got lucky. As it turned out, if animals were involved, Joda wanted to be involved. Music to my ears!! To keep a long story short, (I could sit here for hours and not remember each client that benefited from Joda’s expertise), I believe Joda has an animal in her actual being, that is how well she reads them. She can read them mentally and physically, and could tell our clients exactly what their pets needed just by looking at the stool (and the urine, believe it or not!). Much of Joda’s work with me has not been for the faint of heart, but with animals, nothing phases her. I have watched her get one of our most unruly and untamed animals to lay next to her in a field as if they were one in the same spirit. Working alongside animals is Joda’s calling. That’s all there is to it. Joda is one of the main reasons Slem’s Pet Care was ranked in the top 10 of Missouri’s Best Pet Care Providers. Anyone who uses Joda to care for their pets has found a blessing. Donna Owner, Slem’s Pet Care”
