I had forgotten that he once had this problem with us -six years ago when we got him - and when it popped up again, Laura dealt with it so well! About: I’ve been around and have always loved all animals. I have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, ferrets, and fish. Open to helping with any pets. I work full time Monday-Thursday but I’m completely open to care for your pets Friday-Sunday. I like being active and getting outside so your pets will get all the walks and activity. At home my cats and dogs are free to roam the home. The yard is not fenced so we do use a cable in the backyard or go for walks on the leash for potty breaks.
About: My husband and I always had a pack of rescues. Large, small, sick, old. We had no children so our pets were our children. My husband passed away and I recently just lost my last fur baby. I want to travel a bit so pet sitting is going to be my substitute for a while. I love cats but unfortunately I'm highly allergic. I currently work remotely but will be retiring shortly. My daily routine is wide open. I've always had one or more dogs so my routine has always been focused on their care. My last 3 were older boys with medical conditions so my life was focused on their care. I can accommodate crates or not, whatever your babies need. About: I’ve animal sat for lots of family & friends, I have animal sat snakes, chinchillas, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, fish, and lizards! I love all animals, and even if I haven’t taken care of a certain animal, I am willing to educate myself on how to take care of them. I do currently work full time and go to school part time. I’m available on weekends at any time, during the weekdays I’m available before 2:30 and after 11pm I’ll always be outside with a dog when it comes to using the restroom just to make sure nothing happens, if your dog isn’t good with other dogs I’ll ensure that we go to the park when there’s no other dogs, or if I’m walking and another dog is coming I’ll just go to the other side of the sidewalk.

About: I have owned dogs and cats all of my life. They definitely play an important part of my existance. I live in an area that has lots of room for a dog to get exercise. I spend much of my time outside with my pets near my side. It is important to me that any pet I am taking care of knows that they are very special to me. Your pet will become as fond of me as they are of their owners. I have spent times watching dogs and cats in their homes. I make sure that they are not missing their masters by spending extra time playing and walking them during my visits, whether it is a day visit or weekend visit. I just love our fur pals. I only work part time. My husband is home until 1:00 p.m. and I generally work only until 2:00 p.m. But that is only from May until October. Your dog will have someone around 90% of the day. I have a large yard. It is not fenced in but I keep my visiting pets on a leash at all times. They will be close by to me at all times.
About: I have cared for my two older dogs for 7 years now! One is a 110 lb Labradoodle and the other is approximately a 10 lb Chihuahua mix, I have learned how to adapt to different dogs needs and even care for close friends’ dogs such as a Boxer, Pitbull Mix and more! I am confident in my ability and I can handle any size dog with the care and attention that they may need. I understand that these are the owners’ babies and I will do my absolute best to make sure that they are cared for in an attentive and loving manner! Regardless of the type, size, or energy level of any dog, I can promise that any individual needs will be met, and that I will return a happy and well cared for dog!

My pup decided to demolish a box of Kleenex while I was away and Courtney cleaned it all up for me too! I will definitely have Courtney watch the boys again in the future! She is a little angel! About: I’ve had animals my whole life, I have a black lab who has diabetes and is now blind so I’m very patient with her 😊 I’m a stay at home mom with two daughters so my schedule is wide open. I’m always around if someone needs me to help out I have a fenced in yard for my dogs, I’m very trustworthy and have fun with any animal. I enjoy being outside with them as well

“Laura and Joe took care of our two older dogs for a week while we drove a couple of hours to have a vacation. We knew from our visit with them that Laura would be caring and attentive, but she really did go above and beyond! We received multiple updates and photos and videos daily. Even more impressive was how well Laura handled a behavioral problem that arose with one of our dogs. I had forgotten that he once had this problem with us -six years ago when we got him - and when it popped up again, Laura dealt with it so well! She even purchased something that we thought would help, after messaging with me about the issue. Laura’s care and confidence saved our vacation, when a less experienced sitter might have asked us to return and pick up our dog. The problem resolved and our dogs had a wonderful stay with Laura and Joe. We have always used a kennel in the past. It is a small one and the dogs are out playing much of the day. Last time, things did not go well there for our 13 year-old dog. We tried Rover to find someone who would provide both a safe setting and special care for our dogs. We got this with Laura, for sure!”
