About: I am a college student majoring in Animal Science, which gives me a strong foundation in animal behavior, health, and proper care. I grew up around a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, and pigs, so I am comfortable caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. My top priority is ensuring that every animal’s needs are met to the highest standard, whether that means maintaining routines, providing extra attention, or adapting care for puppies or senior pets. I treat every animal as if they were my own. I have a pretty weird schedule. My classes run from Monday to Thursday. Most of my classes start at 8, I am willing to get up early to care for your animals. I typically am done with all classes by 4. And I normally have breaks in between, my biggest one is one Monday from 11 to 3. I have a small job every other weekend Saturday through Sunday, and the hours are not fixed. Overall I am available throughout the day, mostly early morning and mid evening. I can work with you on times and all that. I focus on creating a calm, low-stress environment by never forcing interactions. I allow pets to approach me at their own pace so they can feel comfortable and build trust naturally. When appropriate, I use treats and positive reinforcement to help create a positive first impression. My top priority is always making sure each pet feels safe, secure, and cared for just as they would if you were home. I understand the importance of both physical exercise and mental stimulation for dogs through walks and playtime, while also providing patient, attentive care for cats by respecting their routines and comfort levels.

About: I am new to professional pet sitting but I have watched dogs for my family members as well as fed cattle and cats for my grandparents while they were away. I currently work at a middle school as a paraprofessional and have summers off. During the school year I am available after 5 on the weekdays and all day on weekends. I will keep pets clean and fed as well as provide any needed services while they’re in my care. That includes grooming, walking, and even cleaning up after them.

I am an undergraduate, but your pet is my number one priority. No pet will be left alone for more than three hours, and I carefully plan my schedule around feedings, potty breaks, exercise, medication times, and companionship. I limit my course load and outside commitments during bookings to ensure I can provide consistent supervision, timely care, and plenty of attention, so your pet’s routine, comfort, and safety are always my top focus. In a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining each pet’s normal routine to reduce stress and promote comfort. This includes following their feeding schedule, exercise needs, medication instructions, and any training or behavioral guidelines provided. I ensure a clean, safe environment, provide plenty of enrichment (walks, play, mental stimulation, and affection), and closely monitor for any changes in appetite, behavior, or mobility. As a pre-vet student with clinical and animal-handling experience, I’m attentive to health and safety, comfortable administering medications, and proactive about communication, providing regular updates and photos so owners feel confident their pets are receiving attentive, knowledgeable, and compassionate care.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. Was raised in the country so we always had animals around. Cared for my dog and cat since they were babies, and have cared for my sisters 12 year old dog many times. I work from home unless I’m traveling, which I know my travel schedule far in advance. I’ll be around all day to love on and care for your babies like I would my own. When your fur babies are in my care, they will be treated as my own. Cuddling is always allowed. We’d take regular visits to the dog park if you feel comfortable or just throw the ball all day if that’s what she/he needs.

About: I've always owned dogs big and small, and my family and friends have always looked to me for pet help! I've also worked 2 different pet resorts being the lead at both! I've gained a lot of amazing insight into animal care from these positions allowing me to work with special needs and reactive dogs! I'm currently working part time so as long as we can get those dates lined up I will have all day to care for your pups! I will make sure to have you give me a rundown of your pets personality and quirks so I can better understand the pet i'm working with and what will be best for them! And I'm pet CPR certified and trained in dog behavior so I'm very good at spotting their needs!

About: Growing up with animals my entire life, I have always had a passion for taking care of our furry friends. This passion had lead me to a career path that allows me work with animals everyday. Having received my Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science: Pre-Veterinary Medicine and having completed two years of veterinary school, I am a highly skilled individual who has a background with companion animals, livestock and equine. I am fear-free certified, meaning that I know how to reduce or remove anxiety triggers that can cause pets to become fearful at home. I am currently a third year Veterinary student at Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine! On weekdays I am at school from 8-5pm, however Friday to Sunday I am free all day. Over the summer I will be free everyday. I would prefer a meet in greet before hand to see your home and daily schedule! I would also like for us to sit down and go over expectations and requirements.

About: We currently have 4 medium-large dogs of our own that we’ve had since they were puppies and we have had some in the past that we cared for through end of life. We love to take our own dogs on regular walks and have taken care of a variety of friends dogs with varying needs including high maintenance puppies. We work standard 8-6 jobs during weekdays but are typically off Friday-Sunday where we can spend more time with your pups but have plenty of time to care for them at night/early mornings and during the weekend. We have a fenced yard with 4 friendly dogs to keep your pup entertained, we can also crate your pup if you prefer. We are accustomed to feeding our dogs twice but can accommodate whatever works best for yours.

I work part time with a schedule that changes a lot, so we would have to schedule around that. I am also a college student so I would love to get my hands on more dogs to help with the stress! Regarding your pet’s physical health, and when you are missing your friend, I can always send you a photo of our most recent walk together. Through all climate changes, I work year round. If your pet can withstand the snow, and the rain, then I can too. There is no sense in keeping a pet inside when they really need to go out. Just like with us humans, making your pet wait to potty can cause all sorts of health problems for them. Don’t want to walk your pet when its cold, or wet out? Well thats where I step in to help. If you are a client that has previously booked with me, then a mere 24 hour advance booking requests is usually all I need. If you find that you are unable to request a booking any sooner than 24 hours. However, If you are not able to send a booking request 24 hours in advance, and you are a previously booked client, then I will do my very best to accommodate you. If you are NOT a previously booked client, you, and your pet will have to schedule, and attend: a meet, & greet with me. It is vital that we attend this meet, and greet before I can accept any service requests. The meet & greet must be scheduled, at least 24 hours in advance before I will accept a booking to offer you any services. I take my personal safety very seriously. I am very eager to meet you, and your pet. I would love nothing more than to provide future services to you. However, Rover sets this precedent for me so that we may all feel safe, and get a good feeling about working together from one another. I must be able to feel safe around you, and feel as though I can fulfill the requirements of the services that I would be providing. I must be able to do a test walk for your pet. In order for me to see how smoothly services will go if I decide to accept your booking request. Therefore, please do not forget to bring, your pet’s collar, leash, and any harness if applicable. After the meet, & greet has taken place, we are able to proceed, and I will let you know if I feel comfortable offering the services you are requesting. Remember that Rover hires professional, background certified, independent contractors from outside sources. Rover has a 12 percent approval rate. They only accept the best of the best. We do not work for Rover, they allow us to book, in a professional manner, through their platform. They are compensated by means of a service fee, added to your final booking bill. In turn, Rover offers your pet, and myself, an added net of safety, and protection, while services are being provided. As an independent contractor, I can, and most certainly will, work to accommodate you, and your scheduling needs. Yet, overall we determine the schedules for the bookings that we accept. We determine the times that we work, but we communicate with you, and find compromising solutions to suit your needs. Personally, it is my wish to eventually, become a full-time, full-service, Rover care professional. Although, at this time, as my business is growing. I am unable to call this a full-time career. For the time being, this is merely a part-time career path for me. Considering that, I am a sole income provider for my household. Unable to do Rover full-time due to fierce competition on the platform, a lower volume of booking requests in my area, and the challenges of personal financial limitations. Currently, I do have certain time restraints in that I am fulfilling these professional services, while undergoing the successful completion of undergraduate coursework. Additionally, I am maintaining, a full time job elsewhere. This being said, from the bottom of my heart, I do everything in my power to accommodate any, and all of your scheduling requests. If your pet is on medications, or has special needs. Likely, I am able to accommodate to them. Although, I do not hold any medical certifications. I do have qualifying experience administering your pet’s prescribed medications, if this is a part of their daily maintenance routine. About: I used to raise guide dogs for the blind in high school and was trained. I also used to raise lambs and goats through FFA for four years. I have been pet sitting for about 7-8 years. I have pet sit all kinds of animals, from dogs to cats to reptiles. I am a sophomore in college studying agriculture. I have two labs, and love all kinds of animals! I’m raising money for college and will be here for the whole summer, so I’m ready to help take care of your pets! Im currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to care for your animals! I usually work 2-6, and that is not daily, so on the days I do work I can take care of your animals any time before or after, but on the days I don’t work I can take care of them any time of the day! My work schedule goes by the week so I won’t be able to tell you until week of when I work. I am available for boarding as well! I have a fenced yard and 2 labs, who are non aggressive and very friendly. I can easily crate your dog if needed, I have a crate at home for when I used to raise guide dogs.
