“We love Maria and her family! They treat Blanche as if she were their own. Blanche loves going to their house and having friends to play with! We're so happy we found Maria as our Rover sitter and will use them for a long time to come!!”

“We keep coming back to Samara because she’s kind, she loves on our dog and she’s responsible!!! 5 stars always!!! We are a repeat customer and we call them Pete’s second home”

“Jennifer was awesome! So genuinely caring and kind. She took great care of my fur baby while hubby and I were away. She kept us updated with photos and videos throughout. I highly recommend Jennifer!”

“Cristian was awesome with our little guy. The pictures he sent showed how much Charlie enjoyed his time with him. Cristian said he’ll miss his little shadow. We will certainly use him again when we travel without Charlie.”

“Carolyn was so gracious, she was just what anyone would want for their furry friend. Hershey acted like he was very pleased with Carolyn's home, there was a doggy door, he did learn to use it. He had only been left at a family home other than kennels. He seemed to adjust very good.”

“I really appreciated having someone to watch my dog and it made my dog mom heart so happy to see he didn’t even want to leave! I would highly recommend Kaidyn to dog sit your baby!”

“Sherrie was amazing. She immediately made me feel at ease when arriving. Picked up my babies with no problems. Sherrie was very accommodating! Will definitely use her again.”

“She has done a great job making my usually extremely anxious dog comfortable and even able to play with her own dog. She was understanding and flexible with drop off and pick up times, if something happened that I needed an earlier time for either.”

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for many years. Before my current dog, Brinkley, I raised two Miniature Dachshunds from the time they were 6 weeks old until they passed away at ages 16 and 17. Caring for them through every stage of life, from energetic puppies to senior dogs with changing needs gave me extensive hands-on experience with daily care, exercise, medication routines, patience, and lots of love. Today, I’m a proud dog mom to Brinkley and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own, providing plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and personalized care to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I look forward to meeting your pup and giving them the love and care they deserve! 🐾❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I am already a dedicated dog mom to my own pup, Brinkley. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. Having cared for dogs for most of my adult life, I understand the importance of consistency and routine. Whether your pet needs an active walk, extra cuddle time, or simply a reassuring presence while you’re away, I can provide reliable, loving care tailored to their needs. I treat every pet as part of the family and make their comfort, safety, and happiness my top priority. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. When your dog stays in my home, they will be treated like part of the family and receive plenty of love, attention, and supervision throughout the day. I provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where pets can relax, play, and feel at home. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications (if needed), and any special instructions you provide. As a lifelong dog owner and current dog mom to Brinkley, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.
“For the first time in two years we feel we finally found the perfect caregiver for our Newt. Jacob and his family took great care of our dog, sent photos, and updates. This was the first time that our dog hasn’t lost weight when we left him and when we picked him up he kept running back to Jacob. That told me he really loved him. I will definitely being booking again with Jacob.”

“Abby was great. Our Charlie had a blast playing with her dogs while we were gone. She even met us to drop him off and pick him up so it was more convenient. We definitely recommend her to anyone needing to overnight board their animals.”

“Ziggy absolutely loved his time with Michelle! The photos she sent each day, showed a very happy puppy who felt safe and at home. I know he's going to miss her, the yard abd his new found doggie door skills. We will definitely be seeing her for our future pet sitting needs! I highly recommend Michelle for her loving care of my Ziggy. ❤️”

“Alison is amazing! We were so nervous to leave our babies with someone but Alison gave us great updates and treated them like her own babies! I wouldn’t want to leave my dogs with anyone else! We will definitely be contacting Alison for future plans to dog sit when needed!”
“My babies had a great time! Denali was very attentive to them and they seem to be tuckered out when they came to us. We will definitely be making a future visit and I know they’re excited to do so! 😊”

“Highly recommended! Dawn made leaving our fur babies for the first time as painless as possible. I really appreciated the meet and greet to ensure we were a good fit. Dawn did a great job communicating. She sent pictures, videos, and daily updates. She even got our dogs a toy for their birthday which was during their stay. I will definitely use her services again and will recommend Dawn to all of my friends and family.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Canyon
If I could give 10 stars to Kaley, I would. We’ve used Rover a handful of times—all with decent success, but this experience has been the best of the best, even including non-Rover boarding solutions. Kaley cares, plain and simple. She asked some heartwarming questions about our dog like “what shows or movies does Lina like to watch?”, and “what colors do you think Lina likes?”. Kaley set up a brilliant enrichment tool that mixed peanut butter and paint (in a ziplock bag on canvas) and now we have a pretty good looking painting that my dog made! Like… what?! On top of that we have tons of cute pictures and videos of our pet. Even a little report card!! I felt Lina had an even better vacation than us. Kaley is special—she has a way of things that is really impressive. She deserves her own shop or facility one day.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
