About: I am a proud momma of a cute orange cat. I am usually the designated fur sitters for my family. I truly enjoy spending time with fur babies. I work full time with a 12 hour shift rotation so I usually get around 3-4 days off in between my rotations. My husband also has the same set up. I have a small fenced yard that the pets can safely run and play around. I have a small friendly cat that can be a companion for your furbaby.

About: From a very young age, I have been surrounded by many pets, including dogs, rabbits, cats, and more. This has sparked my deep passion and love for animals. My experiences haven’t always been easy; my pets have faced serious health challenges, such as weak joints requiring multiple surgeries and a battle with lymphoma. One of my cats is deaf, which taught me to communicate thoughtfully and creatively, using motion and gentle touch instead of sound. For example, softly tapping his surroundings to wake him without startling him. These personal experiences have taught me patience, empathy, and a strong ability to understand animals’ needs. I have always believed that pets are more than just companions, they are family. I have also volunteered at Fraser Heights Animal Hospital, where I cleaned cages, prepared meals, observed procedures, provided care, and more. I am passionate about applying my experience and love for animals to provide excellent care and support for you and your companion. Pet care is a huge part of my daily life and something I truly enjoy. Every day, I set aside time to play, feed, and check in on my pets, making sure they’re happy and healthy. On a weekly basis, I make sure to do thorough cleaning such as cleaning litter boxes or washing beds to keep their environment fresh and comfortable. When caring for other people’s pets, I bring that same routine and attention to detail, treating their furry family members like my own. When caring for pets, whether in my home or the client’s, safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always make sure the environment is secure, always checking that doors and windows are closed and that there are no hazards around. I follow any specific instructions the owner provides, from feeding schedules to medication, to ensure their pet’s routine isn’t disrupted. Most importantly, I build trust by being calm, patient, and attentive, allowing pets to feel comfortable and relaxed around me. I also keep their space clean and cozy, so they feel right at home. Whether it’s playtime, rest, or special care, I treat every pet like they’re part of my family.

About: I was born and raised on the farm, surrounded by animals from my youngest years. I have learned how to take care of chickens and cows before I learned to write. During my life I have been around and taken care of most common types of pets, including large parrots and reptiles (proud snake owner myself). I’d probably have easier time living without people than without animals! So be assured I will to take care of your furry/feathery/scaly friends as if they’re my own I am currently doing freelance, so I’m free most of the time and will have no problem staying with your pet for the whole day or even overnight I will make sure to follow any instructions you give me to take care of your pet. I am more than happy to do play sessions to keep your friend entertained and/or take them for a walk. I can also prepare home made food if that’s something your pet requires. Just give me a recipe!

About: I have had many dogs in my lifetime. I am used to taking care of any size and breed. I took care of my 17 year old Jack Russell terrier. I work full time but I am available Sunday and Tuesday after 4pm and mornings on Monday, Wed and Thursday until 1pm. I am available most Fridays all day/evening. I have a senior cat with diabetes that I have recently managed to get into remission. I love and care for all animals as if they are my own. I truly believe that pets are part of the family and need to be protected the same way children are.

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life - from growing up with dogs and fish tanks to spending my teenage and adult years riding and working around horses (with cats and other barn animals too!). I completed the Red Cross Dog & Cat First Aid course, and care for my own senior chihuahua who was diagnosed with heart disease and requires multiple medications daily. I am confident and comfortable handling pets with medication needs. I also worked as a volunteer photographer for a dog adoption agency that specialized in the adoption of bully breeds. I’ve been described as a warm, friendly, caring, reliable and lively individual by many people in my life. I love spending time outdoors and enjoy walking on trails or in my neighbourhood. I am currently establishing a photography business, and do part-time book keeping for a couple of clients. This allows me to have a flexible schedule. About: I was the primary caretaker of my dog from 8 years old. This involved general caretaking like feeding, bathing, walking, and monitoring health/medicines into its older age. I also have experience with adopting a resuce dog with major reactivity and physical problems, I have learned a lot after taking him through behavioural therapy and improving his quality of life. I've recently graduated college and have a relatively open schedule for Short or Long-term stays. I have my own vehicle and I'm willing to travel across the lower mainland. My goal is to make your animals as comfortable as possible through following instructions from the owner, reading behaviour and their needs as well as keeping them to a regular routine for a stress free experience.

About: I have been in the veterinary industry for over three years, and I am currently in school to become a veterinary technician. I have wanted to care for animals my whole life, and I have so far learned a lot about animal medicine. This means that I can administer medications and help with treatments for any pets that may need it! I am also open to caring for any type of animal, from bunnies to bearded dragons. I have no other job at this time, as I just finished school. Pet sitting is going to be my main focus for the entire month of May, so my schedule is wide open! Unfortunately I cannot care for pets in my own home, but I can stay overnight if it is needed. I am also able to do daily feeds, walks, medications as needed if an overnight stay isn't warranted.

About: My dog just turned 16 and she’s been with me since she was 7 weeks old. Always take care of my friends and neighbours dogs the same way I treat my own dog. I’m currently working part time and have lots of time and love to bring for a new friend. My dog is very friendly with other dogs and she just enjoys company. I live in a big dog friendly condo and we have many dogs park around in our neighbourhoods which we go regularly with our own dog.

About: I grew up with my own dogs (German shepherds) and since I've moved a lot, the past 10-15 years I've looked after lots of other people's dogs. They either lived with me or I watched them in their owner's homes. I also do and did house sitting and have taken care of dogs that way too. I am sometimes not able to watch dogs at my home due to my work obligations, but I do have a flexible schedule so please feel free to reach out and we can see if I can support you. I'm often available to watch for pets overnight at your home, or walking them during the day. I'm also currently not able to watch dogs under 1 year old or dogs that require special care due to my work demands. I'm a very active person and I'm outdoors daily so your dog would get plenty of movement and play time with me :) I'm used to watching dogs both in my place and in their home. Safety comes first and I also make sure they get what they need for their specific personality and energy levels.
