Sheilagh sent update pics several times a day, and it looks like he had a blast! You just can't fake his 'happy face', and he had it a plenty. About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and they are my world. I have a deep empathy for animal and caring for and loving them truly brings me happiness. I started caring for animals (cats & dogs) as a little girl, for friends and family. I have a bounty of experience with cats, and am also confident in caring for dogs! We have 3 cats, and a dog (Jindo-Samoyed mix who wants to be friends with every cat & dog) in our home! My husband is also experienced caring for animals, and is a pro at medication administration. I currently work full-time as an administrative assistant. I work 8:30-4:30 daily, with an hour long lunch from 12-1 where I am available to go home if needed. I live less than 5 minutes from my office. My husband works less than a minute from home, and is able to go home at any point during the day. I have a fenced in backyard and a very friendly Jindo-Samoyed mix and three cats who will keep your furbabies company! We have an extra bedroom for boarding if your pet needs their own space, away from our pets, that’s fine! We do not have any children in our home, it is just my husband, our furbabies, and myself!

About: I’ve been caring and keeping dogs company since I was 17. Family, friends and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk and provide loving companionship for their pups. I’m a totally dog person-can’t imagine the world without them! I’m currently self employed and mostly work from home, giving me plenty of flexible time to care for your pets. I’m fully available on both weekdays and weekends from 8am to 9pm. I live in a house with a patio and unfenced yard, offering plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. We’re just a 10-minutes walk from Peterborough off-leash dog park, perfect for adding some extra fun and adventure to your puppy’s day!

“First time using Rover. Felt very confident in having Akash look after Bailee. Before the stay there was lots of pre communication and a quick visit (our dog tends to be skittish so a pre visit tends to help) and Akash was quite accommodating. During her stay Akash provided updates and photos. These were quite reassuring When Bailee was picked up, she was excited to see me and cuddled. She did not seem nervous and trying to get out to leave. This tells me that she was well looked after and comfortable in Akash's home. I would definitely use Akash again in the future.”

“Shae was so good and affectionate with Penny. Penny seemed to have the best time of her life with Shae. Shae gave me updates and pictures so I knew how my Penny was doing. When I picked her up, she was sooo exhausted from the walk, which I loved it since Penny usually has a lot of energy, and the rain season has been gloomy. About: My family has had dogs since I was born, so I have always lived in a pet environment. Now I have two dogs and they are a lovely couple. I have experience training puppies so I would love to play with puppies<1 year. I have Sunday and Monday off, and I’m free to stay with them all day long. You could also PM me to check my available time with other four days. I have two friendly dogs. A railing and crate can keep my dogs in the bedroom if your baby need some separate space. Normally, your baby will have snack time with my dogs unless you have some special needs.

About: I’ve spent a lot of time around dogs of all ages and personalities, from puppies to seniors! I’ve also had my own dog who recently passed, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and treat every dog like they’re my own. I'm a graduate student which allows me to work from home, so your dog will have plenty of attention and company throughout the day. I also have experience with behaviourally reactive dogs and know how important patience and understanding are. Whether your dog is nervous, has specific triggers, or just prefers their space, I’m happy to follow your lead and support them in a way that works for you and them. I’m always mindful of routines, boundaries, and whatever makes your dog feel safe and comfortable. Every dog is different, so my priority is helping your dog feel safe and happy while you’re away! As I’m a graduate student who works from home most days, I’m able to provide consistent care and attention throughout the day. I can take regular breaks to walk, play with, or just hang out with your dog. My flexible schedule means I can easily adjust to your dog’s routine, such as extra potty breaks, medication at specific times, or just some quiet downtime. I have a partially fenced backyard where I can take your dog for quick potty breaks. I’m also lucky to live near some great spots for walks and playtime, including the Parkway Trail right behind my house and Jackson Creek Park. I’m happy to take your dog out for anywhere from 1 to 4 walks a day, or just bring them to a safe spot to run and play.

About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life and had multiple dogs as pets at once since a child. I have now had two dogs from puppy stage. I currently have a dog that is over 2 years old. I also took care of multiple sled dogs for many years. Daily I walk my dog four times a day. I work a hybrid job and am able to come home on my lunch and sometimes more then that a day. I have one dog to keep your dog entertained I also have a crate if need be. My dog currently is loose at all times. I live in a apartment and take my dog out for walks multiple times a day.
