“Emily and Scott were great. They were flexible and easy to coordinate with in what would be best for my pups. They were also responsive and I was happy there were patient with my trio.”

“Loghan has been a great fit for my energetic doodle Charlie, who has loved getting out for his walks with the group. I was also very comfortable leaving Charlie for overnight boarding as I know he's very well cared for. Loghan is friendly, professional and a great communicator. I would definitely recommend him.”

About: My love for dogs began at a young age, and throughout my life I have naturally taken on the responsibility of caring for them. From daily walks and feeding to grooming, hydration, and training, caring for dogs has always been something I genuinely enjoy. For many years, friends, family, and neighbours have trusted me to care for their pets while they are away, giving me valuable hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I have a natural ability to build strong relationships with dogs and often incorporate training into my interactions, including heel work, recall, leash manners, and fun tricks that help strengthen the bond between dogs and their owners. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate, and professional care that gives pet owners peace of mind. I am available Monday through Friday for dog walking services, as well as 2–3 drop-in visits between 5:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. each weekday. I’m currently working part time and am available Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. for 1-hour dog walks or drop-in visits, including potty breaks, feeding, hydration, companionship, and a 15-minute walk. To ensure the comfort and well-being of my own three cats, I do not offer boarding services for dogs or cats in my home. Instead, I provide personalized in-home care through 1–3 daily visits, allowing your pets to remain comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment. For dogs who enjoy a little extra adventure, I have a fully insured and safety-equipped 2003 Honda Civic with dog seatbelt restraints. With your permission, I can take your pup on enriching walks and hikes along the beautiful trails at Emily Provincial Park, providing both exercise and mental stimulation while keeping safety my top priority.

“Gretal is wonderful and amazing. I injured my leg and couldn't do long walks with my boy. After reviewing Gretel's previous reviews, I choose her. She did not disappoint. She listened to what my dogs reactivities were, what could make him aggressive. Since he is a rescue and isn't always good around crowed areas. My dog absolutely fell in love with her on their first meet. I will absolutely choose Gretel for walks again for my dog. Very good with communication and love the updates on my Rover Card.”

I have spent the last couple months training her and she went to a great home. I’m very responsible, love animals and I am hardworking. I’m very comfortable with dogs as I’ve had a dog of my own. I’m able to take pets for walks, care for them at your house and pop in and out as need be as my schedule is very flexible. Thanks for your time and consideration -Deanna S.

Peterborough dog parents share their Rover experiences
Scott is wonderful with my slightly crazy poodle. It was only the second walk and Murphy recognized him from the window and about lost his mind in excitement. He has come back happy and exhausted after just a half hour walk so I know he's getting a very good and quick paced walk. It's so nice to be able to entrust him to someone who my dog clearly enjoys and is giving him what he needs.
