About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and truly enjoy caring for pets of all personalities. I grew up with a Golden Retriever who I cared for throughout my teens and university. She had a very gentle, easygoing temperament, which gave me a strong foundation in daily care, routines, and building trust with dogs. My current dog is a rescue who was found living in a garbage dump, had been shot, and came with many complex behavioural and medical needs. He is leash reactive and not comfortable with other dogs, which has required a lot of training, patience, and consistency. Because of this, I’ve become very confident reading dog body language, managing reactivity, and staying calm and in control on walks. We’re now able to walk comfortably around other dogs, but I always stay attentive and proactive to make sure he feels safe and supported. We are best friends and I am so proud of his progress. I also have lifelong experience with cats, having grown up with one and currently caring for two. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, litter care, and giving cats the space they need while still building trust. I treat every pet like my own and understand that some need extra patience, structure, or attention. Whether your dog is easygoing or needs a bit more support, I’ll make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I currently work early mornings, so I have time in the afternoon/evenings to help love and care for your pets! Thursdays and Sundays I am available all day. I am happy to take your dog outside the home on walks or hikes, or have playtime/care and attention indoors! Whatever your preference I’m in.

About: Hi, my name is Monica! I am a mom of two and an animal lover who enjoys helping people feel at ease knowing their pets are well cared for. Although I am new to rover, I have experience providing support to family, neighbours and previous employers with cats and dogs (including experience with larger breeds). I come to your house and spend time doing the things your dog loves the most, whether that’s going for a walk, playing fetch outside, or just getting some good ol’ belly rubs. Word on the pup street is that I provide the best scratches! As a parent, I know the importance of being dependable, communicative, and treating others' homes and loved ones with respect. Every pet is unique, and I take the time to follow your instructions carefully so they can stay happy and comfortable in their usual routine. I, of course, also provide feeding and waste pick-up. I currently have the capacity to take on check-ins and walks while maintaining a calm, unhurried approach with each visit. I make sure to plan my time so I can give each pet my full attention. Visits include feeding, fresh water, litter or waste care, dog walks, play time and calm companionship tailored to each animals needs. I also offer care in my home, if needed, for caged or contained pets. In these cases, I provide a quiet, clean and stable environment with close attention to their established care routine.

About: Hi there! My name is Tera, I am a responsible young adult looking to spend time with some more critters! I have grown up with dogs my whole life and I have been looking after my clients/neighbors/friends/colleges animals for about 10 years. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and all breeds but I am not limited to just dogs. I have experience with cats, and even horses! I will go above and beyond to keep your pet healthy and happy during our time together :) I can't wait to meet them! For safety, I kindly ask that all dogs staying with me are up to date on their vaccinations, as I won’t put my pup at risk. I always keep my home very clean and free of hazards, with plenty of cozy resting spots and safe play spaces. On walks and outdoor adventures, I always use secure leashes and or harnesses, and I’m attentive to each dog’s comfort level and energy needs. About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life and had multiple dogs as pets at once since a child. I have now had two dogs from puppy stage. I currently have a dog that is over 2 years old. I also took care of multiple sled dogs for many years. Daily I walk my dog four times a day. I work a hybrid job and am able to come home on my lunch and sometimes more then that a day.
