About: I've worked as an animal rescuer for the last 6 years, mainly with cats and small animals but also some dogs. I've also been a vet assistant in another country for a couple years during COVID. Currently working as a shelter animal care worker and freelancing as a pet sitter I can spend time with your pet, with many free hours during the week! I usually have a fixed class schedule and am also available during holidays. I believe in putting utmost care and attention to any animal and my previous clients can attest to this. About: My husband Scott and I live with our loveable Boston Terrier, Gus, in a single family home here in Peterborough. We chose Peterborough because of it's proximity to family, friends and nature and we are often found hiking on dog friendly trails on the weekend or spending time at the lake. We are very active, enjoy being outside and think dogs should be too - Gus has a lot of energy so daily excercise is key! My husband and I both had dogs growing up, which fostered an instinctive love and care for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I work as a professional planner and Scott works from home while we are both free on weekends, so our schedule is flexible. We spend a lot of love and time on Gus, who, like us, loves being around other dogs, and figured we could give Gus some extra friends! We would be happy to meet you and your doggy in advance so you can get to know us. Emily works in the office four days per week just a few minutes from home, Scott works from home. Neither of us work on the weekend. Our home is save for any animal - we're smoke free, drug free with no children. Gus loves other dogs and always enjoys having a friend around. Our back yard is mostly fenced in and it's tucked behind. The front is also mostly fenced with a small garden fence.

My days are wide open, which means I can easily adjust to your pet’s schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. Spending time with animals has always been one of my favourite pastimes, and it brings me joy to make them feel safe, happy, and cared for. Whether it’s a relaxed cuddle session with a senior cat, an energetic walk with a playful dog, or checking in throughout the day, I have the flexibility and the heart to give your pets the attention they deserve. When I care for pets in my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. I keep a calm, pet-friendly environment with lots of love, attention, and plenty of time for play or rest depending on their needs. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines closely, whether that means sticking to specific feeding times, administering medications, or keeping up with favourite activities. About: I have adopted two cats in the past. I loved both of their unique personalities and caring for them just the same. I had a childhood dog that I was obsessed with and was a great emotional support to me. I believe animals are more than pets- they are our family and beloved friends and I will care for yours as if they were my own. I have lots of flexibility in my schedule to stay in your home or drop in at various times during the day to take your pets outside, feed them, and/or play with them and give them cuddles. Lots of time walking or playing outside for dogs. Play time inside with cat toys, treats and lots of cuddles and hugs for all the animals!

About: I have a one year old Goldendoodle puppy that I have trained myself. I would love to look after your dog and for Auggie to make a friend as he is a super social/playful pup. I am in school at Trent University so I have a lot of time off. I really enjoy being outdoors going for walks. I can do dog walking, overnight visits. I can follow any training that has been put in place. I am an active person so as many walks as possible will be ideal while I take care of your pup!

About: Hey! I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and being new to this area and not having a companion around has gotten lonely. I’d love to look after your dog(s) to get my puppy fix that I’m missing not being able to have one of my own at the moment. I’ve looked after several dogs in my day as well as my own house pets. I’m active and love to take dogs on long (or short) walks depending on their needs. I’ve had shy dogs and high energy dogs and I can keep up with anything you throw my way!! I work from home during the day so I’m available for at home sitting during business hours but afterwards I’m free to work around schedules as needed. I’m free on weekends and always willing to give a helping hand to a dog lover. I have a fenced area in the backyard as well as an area to roam. I’m close to parks and trails and would love to go for walks with your dog(s). My apartment is on the ground floor so it’s not far to get outside when they have to do their business. My apartment is small but cozy and lots to do to keep your dog(s) occupied and multiple areas to nap if they’re feeling lazy.
