About: Hi! We are Star Sitters here on Rover, with 6 years of professional pet care and 18 with our own animals. Someone is always here in our calm, safe, and dog friendly home so your dog can spend the day with company instead of being home alone. We do live with our loveable Boston Terrier, Gus, and we are often found hiking on dog friendly trails on the weekend or spending time at the lake. We are very active, enjoy being outside and think dogs should be too - Gus has a lot of energy so daily excercise is key already here. I work as a professional planner and Scott works from home and we are both free on weekends with flexible schedules. We spend a lot of love and time on Gus, who, like us, loves being around other dogs. We would be happy to meet you and your doggy in advance so you can get to know us. Emily works in the office four days per week just a few minutes from home, Scott works from home. Neither of us work on the weekend. Our home is save for any animal - we're smoke free, drug free with no children. Gus loves other dogs and always enjoys having a friend around. Our back yard is mostly fenced in and it's tucked behind. The front is also mostly fenced with a small garden fence.

Over the years, I’ve raised and trained dogs from puppyhood—including golden retrievers, labs, and shepherd mixes—and loved them through every stage of life until their senior years. About: I have always loved taking care of dogs and cats my whole life. I have a lot of experience being around and helping all different pets. I am a very active person and walk and go on runs everyday. I walk at-least 5km everyday so i would be very happy to walk your dog any distance or for any time requested. I am very friendly and am comfortable with all types of dogs and cats. My friends often drop off their dogs at my house and i will happily walk them and spend time with them. I am currently certified in Standard First Aid and CPR. I used to be a Lifeguard and would guard dog swims all the time. I have a G license and a car so i am able to drive to your pet when needed. I walk everyday so I would be happy to walk with a dog and help others. I am available most days at any time. I need a day notice, sometimes even the day of. I will walk your dog however long you would like me too. Once i even walked a marathon so i enjoy walking a lot. My home is very tidy and clean. It is a bungalow with a half fenced yard with grass space. I will gladly pet sit the dog during the day or at night if needed.

About: I have enjoyed taking care of dogs and other pets from a young age. I like getting to know the unique qualities of each animal and enjoy providing an enriching environment full of activities for the active dog, or a quiet, calm space for the pets who take more time to settle in. Caring for, and socializing, puppies over a summer was one of the most memorable pet care times, as a family member was preparing to find homes for a litter. I'm currently off work for the summer and have lots of flexibility to care for your pets for overnight stays, walks, or drop in visits to your home. I have a fenced backyard and a park across the road with lots of walking trails around to accomodate all the needs or your furry friend. We do also have 1 friendly cat in the home.

About: I’m an active dog lover who spends my days walking my own energetic Blue Heeler, hiking local trails, and heading to the beach. I offer reliable dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting with plenty of attention and care. I am home weeknight evenings and available all days on weekends. In summer I have full availability to meet your pets needs at any time! I can also offer training and enrichment if requested. My own dog can be slow to warm up to new dogs, but we have a large home and are happy to keep her fully separated for safety and comfort whenever needed - although she would love to play once comfortable. Your pet will get personalized care in a calm, loving environment! I am currently working full time as a teacher but I am home most days by 4:30pm. I have full availability to be home and care for your pets during the summer. I have a large home with plenty of space for your dog to run and play. I have my own dog who takes a bit of warming up but then will keep your fur baby company! I have an unfenced yard with a leash for potty breaks but can also go for lots of walks. I am happy to crate your pup if they are crate trained. I can offer training and enrichment as requested!

I’ve given prescribed medication to animals in many ways, many times so I’m 100% okay and accommodating to special care animals. I’m especially good with shy, anxious, or sensitive animals and try to create a calm, low-stress environment for them. I read, watch and learn lots about animals everyday. I have many certifications around animals as well; like the ‘Fear Free’ certification for example. What sets me apart is my experience and also that I genuinely care about animals as individuals and that I take the time to understand their individual personalities, routines, and boundaries rather than treating care as “just a job”. This is something I’m very passionate about. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and being attentive to their needs. I'm most familiar with poodles, chow chows, and frenchies, but love all the funny and lovable characteristics every individual dog or cat possesses.
