Caring for, and socializing, puppies over a summer was one of the most memorable pet care times, as a family member was preparing to find homes for a litter. I'm currently off work for the summer and have lots of flexibility to care for your pets for overnight stays, walks, or drop in visits to your home. I have a fenced backyard and a park across the road with lots of walking trails around to accomodate all the needs or your furry friend. We do also have 1 friendly cat in the home.

When I picked up my pups, it was apparent that they had a great time - they were happy, tired and well loved. She has a great property in the country with trees, and lots of land for sniffing and exploring. Susan sent me photos and updates when I requested them. She made my pups adorable bandanas with their names as a gift to take home. When my pups ran out of vegetables, she made her own to feed them. She is incredibly generous! “Christine is a very warm, very friendly caring person and it was obvious from the moment she met our two dogs they would be in wonderful hands with her! One of our dogs is very shy, yet she took to Christine very quickly. Their home is perfect in terms of the layout and with a fenced back yard. Christine sent us photos over the 3 day period and is very responsive in her replies. One of our dogs is challenged to navigate stairs however Christine had a gate to prevent her from going up the stairs and potentially hurting herself. We would definitely book Christine again to care for our two dogs!!”
“We just cannot thank Elizabeth (Jayne) enough for all the love and attention she gave our old boy, Jack while we were away on vacation. Jayne was happy to be in touch with us and regularly sent pics and videos. Jack doesn’t always do well without us, but he settled in quickly and absolutely loved all the walks, love and attention he got at Jayne’s house! Jack is diabetic so it was such a relief knowing that Jayne had lots of experience giving insulin too. We will most definitely be calling Jayne again! Thank you, Jayne!”
“Dana and Robert are amazing! They watched my two mini poms at their home while I was away for 9 days. I had a lot of anxiety as this was my first time using them, I have never been away from my poms this long and they both have major separation anxiety when I'm away and my one pom has severe medical issues that can be triggered by stress. It made me feel better meeting them, knowing they have lots of glowing reviews and that this is literally all they do. They both care for dogs full time and were so accommodating with me, following all my instructions to the tee. My dogs don't do great with other dogs, so they blocked off the whole week just for me so that it would just be my poms in their home which meant so much to me. They are on a raw food diet which required extra feeding steps and they had no issue with this. I told Dana to feel free to spam me with messages as it would make me feel better checking in on them when I need to. She didn't require any responses back that took me away from my family and vacation, but anytime I wanted to check in on them there was about 30 + messages for the day I could quickly skim through to have peace of mind, even detailing all bowel movements (part of an indicator of my pom with the medical issues was doing), if they ate all their food, them playing, their walks, and lots of cuddle time with Dana and Robert. My one pom in particular is wary of anyone outside our family and does not cuddle with others, but after the first day, he was cuddled right in with Dana and it was clear in the videos and pics that they were both very happy and enjoyed being there. Despite my one pom in particular being very co-dependent with me and his medical issues generally triggered by stress and change, he had no issues! It was such a relief finding Dana and Robert and I will be using them on all future trips and recommending them to all my family and friends!”

The whole process of booking, meet & greet & boarding, went smoothly as Janine is a very responsive, friendly, caring and thorough person. We felt very confident to leave our fur baby under Janine's care for 6 days during the meet and greet. She has a very well maintained big backyard which is a plus. She also got a water pool tub in her backyard for Bella to play in, which was super nice. She also has a dog named June who is very sweet and cute and Bella loved to have her company. She kept us updated and informed throughout the boarding period and sent us photos and videos frequently which was great. Also, her rates for day and overnight boarding are unbeatable. We are glad we have found Janine to board Bella for our future trips.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs most of my life having grew up around multiple dog breeds both male and female! My partner and I are the biggest dog lovers, with our own little girl and committed to providing the best care possible. I currently work from home 1-2 days a week and am available weekends and evenings to care for your pups! About: From a young age I begged my parents to get a dog and they did not give in until I was 15 when we adopted my anxious little puppy Walker at only four months old. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and truly enjoy caring for pets of all personalities. I grew up with a Golden Retriever who I cared for throughout my teens and university. She had a very gentle, easygoing temperament, which gave me a strong foundation in daily care, routines, and building trust with dogs. My current dog is a rescue who was found living in a garbage dump, had been shot, and came with many complex behavioural and medical needs. He is leash reactive and not comfortable with other dogs, which has required a lot of training, patience, and consistency. Because of this, I’ve become very confident reading dog body language, managing reactivity, and staying calm and in control on walks. We’re now able to walk comfortably around other dogs, but I always stay attentive and proactive to make sure he feels safe and supported. We are best friends and I am so proud of his progress. I also have lifelong experience with cats, having grown up with one and currently caring for two. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, litter care, and giving cats the space they need while still building trust. I treat every pet like my own and understand that some need extra patience, structure, or attention. Whether your dog is easygoing or needs a bit more support, I’ll make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I currently work early mornings, so I have time in the afternoon/evenings to help love and care for your pets! Thursdays and Sundays I am available all day. I am happy to take your dog outside the home on walks or hikes, or have playtime/care and attention indoors! Whatever your preference I’m in.
About: I started taking care of dogs and cats when I was a teenager. When neighbours would go on vacation or have out of town appointments- they would always contact me to walk, feed and care fir their pets. About: I have always had a dog in my life since age 8 and I can't imagine life without one. I grew up with a Wheaten Terrier named Buddy and he was my best friend. After he passed, I got another Wheaten Terrier named Winnie in and in 2022, we added Mia, the Bully mix, to the family. After Mia unexpectedly passed away in 2024, we adopted Daisy the pittie who has been the perfect addition. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and take care of their pets as they know I love animals. Hopefully I can care for yours too! My work schedule is extremely flexible which allows me to control my daily schedule and routine. I can take breaks when I want and work remotely when appropriate. For drop-in visits, I can drop by your home whenever you need and let your dog out, play with them, feed them; whatever they need! For walks, I can walk them around your neighbourhood for as long as they need, take them to a park, or play fetch if they enjoy that! For sitting, I can spend quality time with you fur baby where they are most comfortable; their home!
About: I have frequently taken care of my neighbourhood dogs as well as two senior dogs from a local family. I have two large dogs and two small dogs of my own! Additionally, I have administered medications for animals when instructed to do so. I am currently in my fourth year of University so I would need to arrange times around my classes, however most days and afternoons I am available! I am comfortable abiding to any household rules you have for your fur babies, including specified eating / walking times, crating, and mandatory play times! About: I have enjoyed taking care of dogs and other pets from a young age. I like getting to know the unique qualities of each animal and enjoy providing an enriching environment full of activities for the active dog, or a quiet, calm space for the pets who take more time to settle in. Caring for, and socializing, puppies over a summer was one of the most memorable pet care times, as a family member was preparing to find homes for a litter. I'm currently off work for the summer and have lots of flexibility to care for your pets for overnight stays, walks, or drop in visits to your home. I have a fenced backyard and a park across the road with lots of walking trails around to accomodate all the needs or your furry friend. We do also have 1 friendly cat in the home.

“Susan and her family took care of my pups for over a week. I have been so impressed with the care they received. When I picked up my pups, it was apparent that they had a great time - they were happy, tired and well loved. She has a great property in the country with trees, and lots of land for sniffing and exploring. Susan sent me photos and updates when I requested them. She made my pups adorable bandanas with their names as a gift to take home. When my pups ran out of vegetables, she made her own to feed them. She is incredibly generous! “Christine is a very warm, very friendly caring person and it was obvious from the moment she met our two dogs they would be in wonderful hands with her! One of our dogs is very shy, yet she took to Christine very quickly. Their home is perfect in terms of the layout and with a fenced back yard. Christine sent us photos over the 3 day period and is very responsive in her replies. One of our dogs is challenged to navigate stairs however Christine had a gate to prevent her from going up the stairs and potentially hurting herself. We would definitely book Christine again to care for our two dogs!!”
“Dana and Robert are amazing! They watched my two mini poms at their home while I was away for 9 days. I had a lot of anxiety as this was my first time using them, I have never been away from my poms this long and they both have major separation anxiety when I'm away and my one pom has severe medical issues that can be triggered by stress. It made me feel better meeting them, knowing they have lots of glowing reviews and that this is literally all they do. They both care for dogs full time and were so accommodating with me, following all my instructions to the tee. My dogs don't do great with other dogs, so they blocked off the whole week just for me so that it would just be my poms in their home which meant so much to me. They are on a raw food diet which required extra feeding steps and they had no issue with this. I told Dana to feel free to spam me with messages as it would make me feel better checking in on them when I need to. She didn't require any responses back that took me away from my family and vacation, but anytime I wanted to check in on them there was about 30 + messages for the day I could quickly skim through to have peace of mind, even detailing all bowel movements (part of an indicator of my pom with the medical issues was doing), if they ate all their food, them playing, their walks, and lots of cuddle time with Dana and Robert. My one pom in particular is wary of anyone outside our family and does not cuddle with others, but after the first day, he was cuddled right in with Dana and it was clear in the videos and pics that they were both very happy and enjoyed being there. Despite my one pom in particular being very co-dependent with me and his medical issues generally triggered by stress and change, he had no issues! It was such a relief finding Dana and Robert and I will be using them on all future trips and recommending them to all my family and friends!”

“Janine took excellent care of our fur baby (Bella) when we boarded her for 6 days. The whole process of booking, meet & greet & boarding, went smoothly as Janine is a very responsive, friendly, caring and thorough person. We felt very confident to leave our fur baby under Janine's care for 6 days during the meet and greet. She has a very well maintained big backyard which is a plus. She also got a water pool tub in her backyard for Bella to play in, which was super nice. She also has a dog named June who is very sweet and cute and Bella loved to have her company. She kept us updated and informed throughout the boarding period and sent us photos and videos frequently which was great. Also, her rates for day and overnight boarding are unbeatable. We are glad we have found Janine to board Bella for our future trips.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs most of my life having grew up around multiple dog breeds both male and female! My partner and I are the biggest dog lovers, with our own little girl and committed to providing the best care possible. I currently work from home 1-2 days a week and am available weekends and evenings to care for your pups! Work from home days are flexible depending on your needs I have a large fenced garden for roaming and fun and 1 super friendly golden girl (see profile pic) who wants to make friends with all.
