“Alycia and her family are kind, patient and enthusiastic about watching our beloved Rolo. She was easy to communicate with and sent lots of photos and videos! I felt very confident in leaving my dog with Alycia. ❤️”

“We just cannot thank Elizabeth (Jayne) enough for all the love and attention she gave our old boy, Jack while we were away on vacation. Jayne was happy to be in touch with us and regularly sent pics and videos. Jack doesn’t always do well without us, but he settled in quickly and absolutely loved all the walks, love and attention he got at Jayne’s house! Jack is diabetic so it was such a relief knowing that Jayne had lots of experience giving insulin too. We will most definitely be calling Jayne again! Thank you, Jayne!”

About: I have enjoyed taking care of dogs and other pets from a young age. I like getting to know the unique qualities of each animal and enjoy providing an enriching environment full of activities for the active dog, or a quiet, calm space for the pets who take more time to settle in. Caring for, and socializing, puppies over a summer was one of the most memorable pet care times, as a family member was preparing to find homes for a litter. I'm currently off work for the summer and have lots of flexibility to care for your pets for overnight stays, walks, or drop in visits to your home. I have a fenced backyard and a park across the road with lots of walking trails around to accomodate all the needs or your furry friend. We do also have 1 friendly cat in the home.
About: I’ve been caring and keeping dogs company since I was 17. Family, friends and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk and provide loving companionship for their pups. I’m a totally dog person-can’t imagine the world without them! I’m currently work from home, giving me plenty of flexible time to care for your pets. I’m fully available on both weekdays and weekends from 8am to 9pm. I live in a house with a patio and unfenced yard, offering plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. We’re just a 10-minutes walk from Peterborough off-leash dog park, perfect for adding some extra fun and adventure to your puppy’s day!
About: With over 15 years of hands-on experience working with animals, Jacob and I bring a calm, confident, and knowledgeable approach to every pet in our care. We are both experienced Rover pet care providers and share the same dedication to providing safe, reliable, and personalized care for every animal we meet. My background includes professional dog handling, dog training, and dog walking for a company, giving me experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. Together, Jacob and I have extensive experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, and other small furry animals, allowing us to confidently meet a wide variety of pet care needs. We are comfortable with feeding routines, enrichment activities, habitat maintenance, and administering medications when required. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always our top priorities. I am trained in dog CPR, and both Jacob and I prioritize safety, structure, and positive reinforcement in every interaction. Whether your pet needs a reliable walker, patient caregiver, or someone who understands behavior and individualized care, we tailor our services to fit their unique needs. Animals aren’t just a job for us—they’re our passion. We genuinely love building trust, providing enrichment, and ensuring every pet feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. With two dedicated and experienced caregivers, your pets receive extra attention, flexibility, and peace of mind. We offer flexible, around-the-clock availability to meet your pet care needs. Whether you need early morning walks, midday drop-ins, evening visits, overnight care, or last-minute bookings, were happy to accommodate a schedule that works best for you and your pet. I understand that every household runs differently, and pets don’t always stick to a 9–5 routine. That’s why I make myself available all hours of the day, including weekends and holidays, to provide consistent, reliable care when you need it most. Your pet’s routine, comfort, and well-being remain my priority, no matter the time. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets in both my home and my client’s home. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any medical or behavioral needs to ensure consistency and reduce stress. I maintain a clean, calm, and pet-safe environment, closely supervise interactions, and follow feeding, exercise, and medication instructions exactly as provided. In a client’s home, I respect your space while keeping your pet’s routine as normal as possible — including walks, playtime, enrichment, and quiet rest. In my home, pets are treated like family, with a secure environment, structured care, and plenty of attention. I also monitor for any changes in behavior or health and communicate updates so you always feel confident and informed while you’re away.
“Esten and Maddie were fantastic with Callie! Their house is super dog friendly and they kept us updated throughout her stay. Would absolutely book with them again!”

“Alessia was wonderful in watching my dog over a weekend! This was my first time leaving him overnight with someone else and she was amazing in keeping him safe and happy ? I also loved how responsive she was in her responses and appreciated her flexibility when I had to request an additional night for her to watch him. Would highly recommend Alessia’s services and would book with her again!”

“My dog never likes kennels or being boarded, ever. But she seemed to really like Jessica's! Jessica accepted our last minute request, and we are glad she did, as we have now found our go-to boarding place. Her dog seemed calm and gentle, which is exactly what our dog needed. I would definitely recommend Jessica.”

“Our dog, Manu, recently spent 9 days in the care of Jane & Gordon. We were very satisfied with the care Manu received and we wouldn’t hesitate to ask Jane & Gordon to care for him in future.”

“Andrea took excellent care of our 11 week old pup. She was thoughtful and sent us updates of how our pup was doing. With our pup being so new we were very concerned with leaving her but Andrea was very kind and caring. We were very fortunate to have found Andrea. We highly recommend her and look forward to her watching our pup again.”

About: My name is Toby (yes, that in itself is a dog's name).. I love all animals but given my lifestyle and pet experiences (over 40 years) most of my experience is with domestic dogs and cats - mostly rescues. Our family home always had a pet - be it a dog, cat or both...our first family dog was 'BINGO' - a minature collie - we loved him so much. He was part of our life for over 14 years. My mom was the 'dog decision maker' in the house and everyone else in the family adored and pitched in as needed to ensure the pet had the best quality of life. We had a variety of rescues - a greyhound, black lab and now we have a rat terrier and a beagle mutt. I've also always lived with 1 or 2 domestic cats. I've had many of my own cats over the years ...all of my cats have been rescues: Libby, Macho, Nuts, Boltz, and Danny. Our cats and dogs have always co-existed with no issues - it's about the humans and proper integration. Bottom line, I have to have pets around me - they bring so much joy. I want to provide a calm, safe, comfortable loving experience for each pet I am responsible for be it walking, home visit, taxi service, home boarding etc.... Loghan too wonderful care of our puppy while we were away. He sent lots of photos and was easy to communicate with. We love that he got our puppy out on lots of walks. She came home exhausted. We will definitely book with Loghan the next time we are heading out of town. Thank you for taking such great care of River!

Patricia provided excellent care for my two cats for 5 days. She sent many daily updates, including photos and videos of the cats. I could tell right away that she was very attentive to their needs, and helped them feel at home in their home away from home. She played with them often, and encouraged them to feel comfortable in her space. She's incredibly knowledgeable about cats, and it's clear that she really enjoys spending time with them. It was my first time leaving my cats with someone else overnight, and I would absolutely do it again.

Fanta had a fantastic day with Loganne. I received picture updates and messages throughout the day which was awesome and reassuring. Fanta looked happy and was so comfortable she curled up and went to sleep. Would definitley recommend Loganne and will reach out again in the future. Drop off and pick up were quick and simple. Thank You Loganne!

Ellie instantly bonded to Rojina ( Seyyedehhosna) which put us at ease. Her daily updates including pictures showed us how happy she was and the excellent care she was receiving. Rojina's love for all animals is very evident and we would definitely recommend her to other pet owners.

Christine is a very warm, very friendly caring person and it was obvious from the moment she met our two dogs they would be in wonderful hands with her! One of our dogs is very shy, yet she took to Christine very quickly. Their home is perfect in terms of the layout and with a fenced back yard. Christine sent us photos over the 3 day period and is very responsive in her replies. One of our dogs is challenged to navigate stairs however Christine had a gate to prevent her from going up the stairs and potentially hurting herself. We would definitely book Christine again to care for our two dogs!!
Brooke was terrific with our Springer Spaniel. Murphy received lots of attention, many walks and Brooke had the flexibility to spend time with him in the morning, at mid-day and evening. Murphy was very happy and content when we picked him up. I would definitely use Brooke again when needed.
I’m so grateful to have found Vanessa to look after my dog, Kenzo, for three days. She was incredibly communicative and kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. Kenzo bonded with her right away you can truly tell she’s loving, patient, and understands dogs. She even went above and beyond by offering pickup and dropoff, which was so helpful. I would absolutely recommend Vanessa to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter. Kenzo will definitely be visiting her again!

I would happily ask Rhonda to dog sit for me again (and I plan to!). She spent a week with my dog while I was on vacation and not only took great care of him, but my home as well - she went above and beyond. She was extremely communicative and even sent me photos while I was away and it looked like they had a great time. My dog has some trust issues and Rhonda really managed him well. He seemed to really like her and let down his guard. Thank you so much again Rhonda, you were fantastic! We look forward to seeing you again. :)
