About: I’m an active dog lover who spends my days walking my own energetic Blue Heeler, hiking local trails, and heading to the beach. I offer reliable dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting with plenty of attention and care. I am home weeknight evenings and available all days on weekends. In summer I have full availability to meet your pets needs at any time! I can also offer training and enrichment if requested. My own dog can be slow to warm up to new dogs, but we have a large home and are happy to keep her fully separated for safety and comfort whenever needed - although she would love to play once comfortable. Your pet will get personalized care in a calm, loving environment! I am currently working full time as a teacher but I am home most days by 4:30pm. I have full availability to be home and care for your pets during the summer. I have a large home with plenty of space for your dog to run and play. I have my own dog who takes a bit of warming up but then will keep your fur baby company! I have an unfenced yard with a leash for potty breaks but can also go for lots of walks. I am happy to crate your pup if they are crate trained. I can offer training and enrichment as requested!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I’ve always been the person my family and friends ask to help watch their dog or to just stop by to let them out and feed them. I’m also capable of following a routine if needed and or making my own planned out routine for the dog. Currently I work part time at petsmart as a dog trainer where I teach classes for all breed and ages of dogs, I’m an accredited trainer and I plan to be certified in the future. I have experience with puppies all ages and I am comfortable with giving medication to old dogs if needed. Currently I work part time at petsmart so I have lost of free time during the week to watch, walk or let out your dog if needed. I am available also for routine visits for the same pet. For all of my pets I have kept or taken care of, I have always followed a routine that I am either given or I create on my own to I make sure nothing gets left behind or forgotten. I work full time Monday to Friday, but my evenings and weekends are usually free. I have occasionally have online activities, but your pet will always have priority. I have a 5 year old saluki mix and a 4 year old saluki who is crazy! I am well versed in all types of dogs, energies and behavioural needs, I also have walked an abundance of different breeds and sizes of dogs. I am ready for anything you may want just ask! I currently offer daily walks and drop-ins to check on your fur babies and house sitting:) I am currently a part time nurse, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I do have lots of time on my hands and am pretty flexible and can be discussed more on a case by case basis. I would ensure your pup had a long walk and even have some play time in there as well I typically would walk and play with your pup for 30 mins to an hour depending on your preferences. House sitting is more detailed and customized to each pet parents requests! I have a ton of patient and will go at the pace of your dog and not rush anything. I would make sure your pup has all the necessities when being walked or checked in and making sure they are always happy and content before leaving. As well as making sure they have sufficient water and lots of play time before leaving and I would also love to send pictures while I am walking or checking in on your pup and send them to you!

As far as safety, I have a fenced yard in my apartment and will never let a pet off-leash especially if your pet does not have any recall. I enjoy practicing training with pets also and have successfully conditioned some to learn commands. I offer grooming services as well at no extra cost, except showers/baths. Your pet is in safe hands and you will have nothing to worry about while they are in my care. I will make sure of that.
