About: hiii, I’m Devin! (I’m new to Rover) I have (ongoing) experience volunteering at multiple humane societies, volunteering at an animal sanctuary, pet sitting, and I’m going into a Veterinary Technician program next year! I spend lots of my time caring for, playing with and loving animals with different personalities, needs, and comfort levels. Patience, consistency, and making animals feel safe and comfortable is very important. Volunteering and spending my time with animals reinforces how important it is to meet the needs of every specific individual animal. Im comfortable following specialized care and medical instructions carefully and paying close attention to changes in behaviour or needs. I’ve given prescribed medication to animals in many ways, many times so I’m 100% okay and accommodating to special care animals. I’m especially good with shy, anxious, or sensitive animals and try to create a calm, low-stress environment for them. I read, watch and learn lots about animals everyday. I have many certifications around animals as well; like the ‘Fear Free’ certification for example. What sets me apart is my experience and also that I genuinely care about animals as individuals and that I take the time to understand their individual personalities, routines, and boundaries rather than treating care as “just a job”. This is something I’m very passionate about. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and being attentive to their needs. I’m able to dedicate time throughout the day for walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, medication if needed, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I’m someone who pays close attention to routines and details, so I understand the importance of consistency for animals. Whether a pet is energetic and playful or more shy and relaxed, I’m patient and adapt to what helps them feel safest and happiest. When caring for pets, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent, comfortable, and low-stress as possible. In a client’s home, I respect the pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, medication, bathroom breaks, and rest so they can feel secure in their familiar environment. About: I’m an active dog lover who spends my days walking my own energetic Blue Heeler, hiking local trails, and heading to the beach. I offer reliable dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting with plenty of attention and care. I am home weeknight evenings and available all days on weekends. In summer I have full availability to meet your pets needs at any time! I can also offer training and enrichment if requested. My own dog can be slow to warm up to new dogs, but we have a large home and are happy to keep her fully separated for safety and comfort whenever needed - although she would love to play once comfortable. Your pet will get personalized care in a calm, loving environment! I am currently working full time as a teacher but I am home most days by 4:30pm. I have full availability to be home and care for your pets during the summer. I have a large home with plenty of space for your dog to run and play. I have my own dog who takes a bit of warming up but then will keep your fur baby company! I have an unfenced yard with a leash for potty breaks but can also go for lots of walks. About: I’m an Honours Zoology graduate from the University of Guelph with a lifelong passion for animal care. I currently have two cats and three dogs, and I’ve grown up caring for both throughout my life. While I love all animals, I have a special soft spot for cats and understand that every cat has a unique personality—whether they’re playful, shy, independent, or love attention. About: I’ve had a dog around my whole life, my family has owned 3 dogs in my lifetime, my husband and I had a beautiful chocolate lab who crossed the rainbow bridge way too soon at only 3 days past his 3rd birthday. We now have a 2 year old English lab. My absolute dream would be to open a dog sanctuary and let all the dogs live their best life. I’m currently on maternity leave so my days are pretty open. I would need to bring my 1 yr old with me for walks as my husband works during the day so if your dog is ok with strollers perfect if not I can put my son in the carrier. I have an energetic 2 year old english lab who loves to play with other pups, he’s like a family member to us and yours will feel like one too!

About: Hi! I’m a Midwifery student studying with Laurentian University. I’ve just fostered a 5 month Springer Spaniel puppy this year and absolutely loved it! I have spent the last couple months training her and she went to a great home. I’m very responsible, love animals and I am hardworking. I’m very comfortable with dogs as I’ve had a dog of my own. I’m able to take pets for walks, care for them at your house and pop in and out as need be as my schedule is very flexible. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. From Chihuahua‘s to Rottweilers. I have experience taking care of various animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, goats and chickens. I work a full time job Monday to Friday throughout the day. I’m Available before or after work and weekends or during the week if your pets are alright alone throughout the day. I provide in home sitting. I have a large unfenced yard. Dogs will remained leashes at times. As well as many walking trails nearby for your pets to enjoy nature.

About: I have experience with mostly medium to extra large breed dogs, I train my own dogs to be respectful and mannered by use of treats and voice commands and leash work and e,collar (i have been professionally trained in the proper uuse of e-collar training). I have also fostered dogs and supported them in retraining in order to be ready for their new family, as well as providing my support in guiding pet owners how to train their pet while having fun and strengthening their bond. I have approximately a 1/2 acre fenced in strictly for the dogs, where we play ball, Frisbee, tug-of-war, or they can play in the kiddie pool, socialize and enjoy the shade. Talk with you soon Pet care is my weekly routine, as I am also a trainer. I am home raising my son and training one on one with owners I have a fenced yard and also take the dogs into town with me as often as possible to generalize the positive behaviour I want. I also crate if needed. The dogs are socialized with all sounds, sites, areas, people, and new experiences as often as possible. Rewarded are different per dog.

About: I have grown up with cats (every kind! Haha) all my life. I have two lovely boys (cats), who are 3 years old and about 4 months apart in age. They have become a bonded pair and brothers. I am not only a cat lover but also a big-time dog lover. Neighbours, friends, and family have relied on me to take care of fur babies since I was a child. I treat every animal like their my own and a part of my family. I'm currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to devote to playing and caring for your fur babies. I am available for boarding on the weekends and after 3 pm on the weekdays. Throughout the week, I am available to do morning, afternoon, and evening walks and check-ins. I have a fenced-in backyard and live close to open fields and trails to give your dogs a lot of outdoor time and play. I can easily crate your dog if needed.
