My own dog is a certified Therapy Dog, so I’ve put time into learning how to understand and work with dogs—not just love them. I’ve completed dog training with my own pup, including a course focused specifically on dog behaviour. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and quirks. I’ll take the time to get to know yours, follow your instructions, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Basically, I’m here because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals—and getting paid to be around animals is a pretty great arrangement. 🩷 I’m happiest when life is a mix of staying busy and having some time to slow down. I’m easygoing, responsible, and genuinely enjoy the company of animals. I’m excited to use some of my extra time to do something I love while helping out other pet owners when they need an extra hand. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding routines, walks, medication, house rules, and any specific needs or preferences their pet may have. About: My love for dogs began at a young age, and throughout my life I have naturally taken on the responsibility of caring for them. From daily walks and feeding to grooming, hydration, and training, caring for dogs has always been something I genuinely enjoy. For many years, friends, family, and neighbours have trusted me to care for their pets while they are away, giving me valuable hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I have a natural ability to build strong relationships with dogs and often incorporate training into my interactions, including heel work, recall, leash manners, and fun tricks that help strengthen the bond between dogs and their owners. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate, and professional care that gives pet owners peace of mind. I am available Monday through Friday for dog walking services, as well as 2–3 drop-in visits between 5:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. each weekday. I’m currently working part time and am available Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. for 1-hour dog walks or drop-in visits, including potty breaks, feeding, hydration, companionship, and a 15-minute walk. To ensure the comfort and well-being of my own three cats, I do not offer boarding services for dogs or cats in my home. Instead, I provide personalized in-home care through 1–3 daily visits, allowing your pets to remain comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment. For dogs who enjoy a little extra adventure, I have a fully insured and safety-equipped 2003 Honda Civic with dog seatbelt restraints. With your permission, I can take your pup on enriching walks and hikes along the beautiful trails at Emily Provincial Park, providing both exercise and mental stimulation while keeping safety my top priority.

I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, boundaries, and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable and safe with me. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of different ages and needs, including senior and special-needs pets. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, crate routines, oral medications, and injectable medications. I’m also happy to follow detailed care instructions because I know how important consistency can be, especially for pets who are anxious, elderly, or require medication. When your pet is with me, I want you to be able to relax knowing they’re being genuinely cared for—not simply checked on. I’m happy to send plenty of photos and updates, give them lots of attention, and keep their routine as close to normal as possible while you’re away. Whether your pet wants long walks and playtime or would rather curl up beside me for some company, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. 🐾 My schedule is quite flexible, which gives me plenty of opportunities to fit pet care into my day. I know pets don’t always operate on a convenient schedule, so I take agreed-upon feeding times, bathroom breaks, walks, medications, and other routines seriously. If your pet needs a little extra time, patience, or attention, I’m more than happy to provide it. I also understand how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone else. Communication is really important to me, so you can expect updates and photos while your pet is in my care. I want you to feel just as comfortable with me as your pet does! Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. I carefully follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, medications, walks, crates, household rules, behavioural quirks, and routines. I’m also mindful of doors, gates, leashes, interactions with other animals, and anything else that could pose a safety risk. I know that being cared for by a new person can be overwhelming for some animals, so I’m happy to let shy or nervous pets approach me at their own pace. I’ll never force interaction, and I’m comfortable adapting my care to your pet’s personality. I treat every home with the same respect I would want someone to show mine and will always communicate with you if I notice anything unusual with your pet.

About: Hi, my name is Monica! I am a mom of two and an animal lover who enjoys helping people feel at ease knowing their pets are well cared for. Although I am new to rover, I have experience providing support to family, neighbours and previous employers with cats and dogs (including experience with larger breeds). I come to your house and spend time doing the things your dog loves the most, whether that’s going for a walk, playing fetch outside, or just getting some good ol’ belly rubs. Word on the pup street is that I provide the best scratches! As a parent, I know the importance of being dependable, communicative, and treating others' homes and loved ones with respect. Every pet is unique, and I take the time to follow your instructions carefully so they can stay happy and comfortable in their usual routine. I, of course, also provide feeding and waste pick-up. I am looking forward to meeting you and your puppa-roo! Pet care fits well into my weekly routine and I’m able to be flexible with scheduling. I currently have the capacity to take on check-ins and walks while maintaining a calm, unhurried approach with each visit. I make sure to plan my time so I can give each pet my full attention. I provide in-home care for dogs and cats, focusing on maintaining each pets routine in their own environment to minimize stress and support their comfort. Visits include feeding, fresh water, litter or waste care, dog walks, play time and calm companionship tailored to each animals needs. I also offer care in my home, if needed, for caged or contained pets. In these cases, I provide a quiet, clean and stable environment with close attention to their established care routine.

About: I am a compassionate and attentive animal lover who’s had the pleasure of taking care of my own pets as well as many different breeds of my friend’s and families dogs and cats! Currently, I am on a hiatus from work and can be available for your furry friends any day of the week! Usually, I work Monday-Friday 9-5 but also have the opportunity to work from home somedays so I can be more available to your pet! I can also do check-ins on lunches or breaks. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I’ve always been the person my family and friends ask to help watch their dog or to just stop by to let them out and feed them. I’m also capable of following a routine if needed and or making my own planned out routine for the dog. Currently I work part time at petsmart as a dog trainer where I teach classes for all breed and ages of dogs, I’m an accredited trainer and I plan to be certified in the future. I have experience with puppies all ages and I am comfortable with giving medication to old dogs if needed. Currently I work part time at petsmart so I have lost of free time during the week to watch, walk or let out your dog if needed. I am available also for routine visits for the same pet. For all of my pets I have kept or taken care of, I have always followed a routine that I am either given or I create on my own to I make sure nothing gets left behind or forgotten. My goal is to ensure i reach your dog’s daily needs for the time that I’m there with them.

About: I’ve helped care for dogs since I was 9 years old. From puppies to seniors, big and small, there’s no dog I won’t care for. I work full time Monday to Friday, but my evenings and weekends are usually free. I have occasionally have online activities, but your pet will always have priority. I have a large yard for potty breaks, and live on a very quiet road for walks. Our house is large enough for playtime sessions.

About: I'm not as new to professional pet caring now, but I'm constantly learning and I have respect and love for animals. I have cared for pet dog and cat from puppy to old age and I am always learning from experts on how to handle most situations that will arise. I am able to be extremely active and engaging with animals to ensure they are properly stimulated and socialized. I take my job very seriously as a guardian of a pet myself I know that they are as much family as pet. I will always take special care to listen to a pet's guardian's advice on how to care for their pet so that they are properly taken care of as they deserve and expect to be treated.
