About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for most of my life, so caring for pets has always come naturally to me. I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, boundaries, and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable and safe with me. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of different ages and needs, including senior and special-needs pets. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, crate routines, oral medications, and injectable medications. I’m also happy to follow detailed care instructions because I know how important consistency can be, especially for pets who are anxious, elderly, or require medication. When your pet is with me, I want you to be able to relax knowing they’re being genuinely cared for—not simply checked on. I’m happy to send plenty of photos and updates, give them lots of attention, and keep their routine as close to normal as possible while you’re away. Whether your pet wants long walks and playtime or would rather curl up beside me for some company, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. 🐾 My schedule is quite flexible, which gives me plenty of opportunities to fit pet care into my day. I’m available on many weekends as well as throughout the week between classes, and I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits your pet’s normal routine. I know pets don’t always operate on a convenient schedule, so I take agreed-upon feeding times, bathroom breaks, walks, medications, and other routines seriously. If your pet needs a little extra time, patience, or attention, I’m more than happy to provide it. I also understand how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone else. Communication is really important to me, so you can expect updates and photos while your pet is in my care. I want you to feel just as comfortable with me as your pet does! Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. I carefully follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, medications, walks, crates, household rules, behavioural quirks, and routines. I’m also mindful of doors, gates, leashes, interactions with other animals, and anything else that could pose a safety risk. I know that being cared for by a new person can be overwhelming for some animals, so I’m happy to let shy or nervous pets approach me at their own pace. I’ll never force interaction, and I’m comfortable adapting my care to your pet’s personality. I treat every home with the same respect I would want someone to show mine and will always communicate with you if I notice anything unusual with your pet.

“My husband and I travelled to the Dominican Republic for a week, and Grace stayed with our 15-year-old cat, Jersey. Grace sent pictures or videos a couple of time each day and I could tell Jersey was comfortable and all of his routines were being followed. From daily walks and feeding to grooming, hydration, and training, caring for dogs has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I am available Monday through Friday for dog walking services, as well as 2–3 drop-in visits between 5:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. each weekday. I’m currently working part time and am available Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. for 1-hour dog walks or drop-in visits, including potty breaks, feeding, hydration, companionship, and a 15-minute walk. To ensure the comfort and well-being of my own three cats, I do not offer boarding services for dogs or cats in my home. Instead, I provide personalized in-home care through 1–3 daily visits, allowing your pets to remain comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment. For dogs who enjoy a little extra adventure, I have a fully insured and safety-equipped 2003 Honda Civic with dog seatbelt restraints. With your permission, I can take your pup on enriching walks and hikes along the beautiful trails at Emily Provincial Park, providing both exercise and mental stimulation while keeping safety my top priority.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I’ve always been the person my family and friends ask to help watch their dog or to just stop by to let them out and feed them. I’m also capable of following a routine if needed and or making my own planned out routine for the dog. Currently I work part time at petsmart as a dog trainer where I teach classes for all breed and ages of dogs, I’m an accredited trainer and I plan to be certified in the future. I have experience with puppies all ages and I am comfortable with giving medication to old dogs if needed. Currently I work part time at petsmart so I have lost of free time during the week to watch, walk or let out your dog if needed. I am available also for routine visits for the same pet. For all of my pets I have kept or taken care of, I have always followed a routine that I am either given or I create on my own to I make sure nothing gets left behind or forgotten. About: I was born into a home with pets. My parents, my grandparents, aunts and uncles, all had pets. It was the most normal thing in the world to have a dog or cat cuddle up to me while I played with my toys, watched movies, or did my homework. It was the best kind of life and I am honoured everyday to have lived in the presence of such amazing animals. I couldn’t imagine my life without a pet. Up until this past March, I had a cat named August. We would go everywhere together, on car rides, camping, even sometimes on walks. He would get excited to run, and probably irritated that he could outrun me, but mostly he loved the car. I had always wanted a dog, but I’m waiting until I own a house, for security and space. In the meantime, I melt into other people’s dogs. I love how excited they get to see me, the love they experience in me before they even know me is overwhelming, and it makes my heart melt. I once had a passenger tip me a large tip because her dog, who hates people, loved me. It makes me feel a little impatient to have one of my own but I’m not there yet. So, until then, I am looking to spend time with, caring, for other people’s dogs. I welcome the opportunity to be a part of a dog’s world, even if only briefly, and hopefully I melt into them as they do into me. I am an artist (singer/songwriter and writer of prose) and an Uber driver. My rates are what they are so I can take the time needed to spend with your pet, and focus far less attention on work. Tending to the care and attention of another’s animal would be an excellent inclusion into my artistic process. As an Uber driver, I can take the time off, so I can focus entirely on the fur baby in my care. We will go on walks, enjoy each other’s company, and eat according to their set schedule.
