This was Beaus first stay over at someone else's house and he seemed very comfortable and happy. Beau has alot of energy and they were able to work with him. I work full time Monday to Thursday, so I can't do those days, but my weekends are usually free. I have occasionally have online activities, but your pet will always have priority. We couldn’t find a sitter for our cat and because my cat has not had a good time with a sitter before, he is very skittish and has some separation anxiety. Amazing part is when we took my cat to meet them, the cat just loved her daughter, I have never seen that cat like someone so fast (not even my husband). House sitting is more detailed and customized to each pet parents requests! I have a ton of patient and will go at the pace of your dog and not rush anything. I would make sure your pup has all the necessities when being walked or checked in and making sure they are always happy and content before leaving. As well as making sure they have sufficient water and lots of play time before leaving and I would also love to send pictures while I am walking or checking in on your pup and send them to you!

“We left our three year-old retriever, Nora, with Kripa for three days. This was our first time using Rover and, honestly, I was a little nervous, leaving her with a stranger. About: This is our first time getting on Rover but both my husband and I are pet parents and frequently pet sit for a number of friends and family when they travel. I’m an experienced pet parent with two dogs of my own, aged 5 and 6. They’re very friendly and loving and I am very familiar with the care, routine and attention dogs need every day. I understand that every pet has their own personality and comfort level — I am happy to follow your instructions closely to make sure they’re happy and settled. Your pet will have plenty of space and attention with me. I live in a house with a fully fenced yard, giving dogs some space to play and get some fresh air. It’s a non-smoking household and because I live with my husband and mother-in-law, someone will always be home and your pet won’t be left alone for longer than 20 mins if at all. I’m comfortable providing them with regular walks and potty breaks. My dogs are given pee breaks every 4 hours and two walks in the morning and at night right before we sleep. I’m also comfortable with maintaining consistent feeding schedules, playtime, and providing oral medication (what’s not in the list is obvious but I’m also great at cuddles and companionship). My goal is to make every pet feel like part of the pack when staying with us. I work a full time job but I’m mostly remote (I’m lucky). So I’m home throughout and able to give pets plenty of attention and regular breaks. My own dogs are already part of my daily routine with walks, feeding, playtime, and endless cuddles built in. On the rare occasion that I need to go into the office (like once a month but it’s very rare), my husband is home and helps care for the dogs. He is an equally attentive and loving pet parent so your fur baby will have someone around them to keep them safe, loved and cared for. I know how important it is to feel confident that your dog is in a safe space. I have used rover to find sitters for my dogs too and it’s a top priority. Is the house truly dog friendly - no slippery floors, food lying around, chocolate wrappers, sharp edges… I scan for the little things.
