About: With over 15 years of hands-on experience working with animals, I bring a calm, confident, and knowledgeable approach to every pet in our care. I am an experienced Rover pet care providers and share the same dedication to providing safe, reliable, and personalized care for every animal I meet. My background includes professional dog handling, dog training, and dog walking for a company, giving me experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I have extensive experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, and other small furry animals, allowing me to confidently meet a wide variety of pet care needs. I am comfortable with feeding routines, enrichment activities, habitat maintenance, and administering medications when required. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I am trained in dog CPR, and I prioritize safety, structure, and positive reinforcement in every interaction. Whether your pet needs a reliable walker, patient caregiver, or someone who understands behaviour and individualized care, I tailor our services to fit their unique needs. Animals aren’t just a job for me—they’re my passion. I genuinely love building trust, providing enrichment, and ensuring every pet feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. We offer flexible, around-the-clock availability to meet your pet care needs. Whether you need early morning walks, midday drop-ins, evening visits, overnight care, or last-minute bookings, were happy to accommodate a schedule that works best for you and your pet. I understand that every household runs differently, and pets don’t always stick to a 9–5 routine. That’s why I make myself available all hours of the day, including weekends and holidays, to provide consistent, reliable care when you need it most. Your pet’s routine, comfort, and well-being remain my priority, no matter the time. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets in both my home and my client’s home. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any medical or behavioral needs to ensure consistency and reduce stress. I maintain a clean, calm, and pet-safe environment, closely supervise interactions, and follow feeding, exercise, and medication instructions exactly as provided. In a client’s home, I respect your space while keeping your pet’s routine as normal as possible — including walks, playtime, enrichment, and quiet rest. In my home, pets are treated like family, with a secure environment, structured care, and plenty of attention. I also monitor for any changes in behavior or health and communicate updates so you always feel confident and informed while you’re away.
About: Hi, I’m Lina*! I have over six years of animal care experience in shelter and dog daycare environments. I also walked dogs as an independent contractor on top of my other work from 2020 to 2021. I am experienced with handling dogs of all sizes, ages, breeds, and abilities. My number one priority is keeping your dog as safe and comfortable as possible when out in the world – something many novice walkers take for granted! My own dog is dog/leash-reactive, so I have a lot of experience in systematically desensitizing and re-teaching her how to love going out for walks, as well as safely redirecting the occasional uninvited off-leash dog headed toward her. In my previous dog walking job, many of my clients had dogs with mild/moderate behavioural issues; most often lunging/barking at passing dogs. The regular clients I served were impressed with the improvements made over time. I love being able to make a difference and missed it so much that I’m here on Rover. I am certified in pet first aid, and my shelter and daycare experience has given me the skills I need to be comfortable handling just about any manner of medication for cats and dogs. I’ve been working outdoors for the last five years and am absolutely comfortable taking your dog out rain or shine. *I went by Lina when I made my Rover account years ago, but I typically go by my first name, Keegan, now! I will respond to either one, so don't worry! Updated March 2026: I currently have pretty open availability. I am prioritizing recurring clients with mild-moderate reactivity, but I am always interested in meeting new dogs (and cats!) and providing excellent care however I can. If you're interested in house-sitting services, please contact me to discuss; I only accept them on a case-by-case basis and I prioritize stays for clients with behaviourally/medically complex pets. As an alternative, I'm happy to accommodate multiple drop-in visits per day if you're away. I'll make sure your dog gets time to do their business outside, clean up any indoor messes, and give food and any required medications. Please note that my house sitting services do not automatically involve walks beyond several potty breaks throughout the day/evening, generally within fenced yards or just a few minutes up and down the street on a leash. Depending on your dog's care needs, this can be discussed further, but I generally charge more for adding full walks to house sitting jobs.
About: I’m an active dog lover who spends my days walking my own energetic Blue Heeler, hiking local trails, and heading to the beach. I offer reliable dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting with plenty of attention and care. I am home weeknight evenings and available all days on weekends. In summer I have full availability to meet your pets needs at any time! I can also offer training and enrichment if requested. My own dog can be slow to warm up to new dogs, but we have a large home and are happy to keep her fully separated for safety and comfort whenever needed - although she would love to play once comfortable. Your pet will get personalized care in a calm, loving environment! I am currently working full time as a teacher but I am home most days by 4:30pm. I have full availability to be home and care for your pets during the summer. I have a large home with plenty of space for your dog to run and play. I have my own dog who takes a bit of warming up but then will keep your fur baby company! I have an unfenced yard with a leash for potty breaks but can also go for lots of walks. I am happy to crate your pup if they are crate trained. I can offer training and enrichment as requested!
About: My love for dogs began at a young age, and throughout my life I have naturally taken on the responsibility of caring for them. From daily walks and feeding to grooming, hydration, and training, caring for dogs has always been something I genuinely enjoy. For many years, friends, family, and neighbours have trusted me to care for their pets while they are away, giving me valuable hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I have a natural ability to build strong relationships with dogs and often incorporate training into my interactions, including heel work, recall, leash manners, and fun tricks that help strengthen the bond between dogs and their owners. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate, and professional care that gives pet owners peace of mind. I am available Monday through Friday for dog walking services, as well as 2–3 drop-in visits between 5:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. each weekday. I’m currently working part time and am available Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. for 1-hour dog walks or drop-in visits, including potty breaks, feeding, hydration, companionship, and a 15-minute walk. To ensure the comfort and well-being of my own three cats, I do not offer boarding services for dogs or cats in my home. Instead, I provide personalized in-home care through 1–3 daily visits, allowing your pets to remain comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment. For dogs who enjoy a little extra adventure, I have a fully insured and safety-equipped 2003 Honda Civic with dog seatbelt restraints. With your permission, I can take your pup on enriching walks and hikes along the beautiful trails at Emily Provincial Park, providing both exercise and mental stimulation while keeping safety my top priority.
About: I’ve had pets in my home all of my life, but have 3 of my own pets currently - a dog, a cat, and a ball python. I’ve trained both my dog and cat, and have helped family members with training puppies in the past and currently. I’ve done drop in visits for many friends, family, and neighbours over the years. I have experience administering both oral and topical medications for pets, and have always paid attention to every small instruction provided by vets. Knowing how much my pets mean to me, I’m more than happy to follow and respect any pet owners preferences and instructions. I take the time to get to know each pet individually, as I know and respect that they all have different needs, preferences, and boundaries. I work full time Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30, but am available before and after work and on most weekends! On Tuesdays, I’m available until 2pm, and after 9:30pm. I have a black lab, cane corso mix, who just turned 4 years old, as well as a 3 year old cat. I have a fenced in yard, and lots of space behind my house for dogs to run freely if they are trained off-leash, but can always walk them with a leash as well. For visits to the pet owners home, any instructions will be followed closely. I am an honest, diligent person, and am more than happy to meet pet owners prior to taking on any job.
About: Hi, my name is Monica! I am a mom of two and an animal lover who enjoys helping people feel at ease knowing their pets are well cared for. Although I am new to rover, I have experience providing support to family, neighbours and previous employers with cats and dogs (including experience with larger breeds). I come to your house and spend time doing the things your dog loves the most, whether that’s going for a walk, playing fetch outside, or just getting some good ol’ belly rubs. Word on the pup street is that I provide the best scratches! As a parent, I know the importance of being dependable, communicative, and treating others' homes and loved ones with respect. Every pet is unique, and I take the time to follow your instructions carefully so they can stay happy and comfortable in their usual routine. I, of course, also provide feeding and waste pick-up. I am looking forward to meeting you and your puppa-roo! Pet care fits well into my weekly routine and I’m able to be flexible with scheduling. I currently have the capacity to take on check-ins and walks while maintaining a calm, unhurried approach with each visit. I make sure to plan my time so I can give each pet my full attention. I provide in-home care for dogs and cats, focusing on maintaining each pets routine in their own environment to minimize stress and support their comfort. Visits include feeding, fresh water, litter or waste care, dog walks, play time and calm companionship tailored to each animals needs. I also offer care in my home, if needed, for caged or contained pets. In these cases, I provide a quiet, clean and stable environment with close attention to their established care routine.
“Katrina was great! We have a very difficult dog who is weary around new people and she was very patient with our dog despite the dog’s bad behaviour. Katrina even spent time to build their relationship. Thanks Katrina!!”

About: What sets me apart is the level of patience, attentiveness, and experience I bring to every pet I care for. I’ve spent time working with puppies who are still learning routines and basic training, as well as senior dogs who need a slower pace, extra patience, and closer attention to their comfort and health. I’m confident managing different personalities and needs — from energetic young dogs who benefit from consistency and structure, to older pets who may require medication, gentle handling, or extra monitoring. I also pay close attention to behaviour, eating habits, and overall wellbeing so small changes don’t go unnoticed. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure owners feel completely at ease through clear communication and regular updates. As a lifelong animal lover, caring for pets is something I truly enjoy fitting into my routine. During the week, I’m available in the evenings for visits, walks, feeding, and quality time with your pets after work. Weekends offer even more flexibility, allowing me to spend extra time making sure pets get the attention, exercise, and care they need. At home, I care for my own pets by keeping them on a consistent routine with regular feeding, exercise, clean living spaces, and plenty of attention and affection. I believe animals thrive when they feel safe, comfortable, and know what to expect in their daily routine. When caring for pets in someone else’s home, I prioritize maintaining the routines they’re used to so they feel as relaxed and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide walks and playtime, keep litter boxes or living areas clean, and make sure each pet gets the attention they need based on their personality. I also treat every home with respect and keep owners updated so they can feel confident their pets are in good hands.
About: hiii, I’m Devin! (I’m new to Rover) I have (ongoing) experience volunteering at multiple humane societies, volunteering at an animal sanctuary, pet sitting, and I’m going into a Veterinary Technician program next year! I spend lots of my time caring for, playing with and loving animals with different personalities, needs, and comfort levels. Patience, consistency, and making animals feel safe and comfortable is very important. Volunteering and spending my time with animals reinforces how important it is to meet the needs of every specific individual animal. Im comfortable following specialized care and medical instructions carefully and paying close attention to changes in behaviour or needs. I’ve given prescribed medication to animals in many ways, many times so I’m 100% okay and accommodating to special care animals. I’m especially good with shy, anxious, or sensitive animals and try to create a calm, low-stress environment for them. I read, watch and learn lots about animals everyday. I have many certifications around animals as well; like the ‘Fear Free’ certification for example. What sets me apart is my experience and also that I genuinely care about animals as individuals and that I take the time to understand their individual personalities, routines, and boundaries rather than treating care as “just a job”. This is something I’m very passionate about. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and being attentive to their needs. I’m able to dedicate time throughout the day for walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, medication if needed, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I’m someone who pays close attention to routines and details, so I understand the importance of consistency for animals. Whether a pet is energetic and playful or more shy and relaxed, I’m patient and adapt to what helps them feel safest and happiest. When caring for pets, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent, comfortable, and low-stress as possible. In a client’s home, I respect the pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, medication, bathroom breaks, and rest so they can feel secure in their familiar environment. I pay close attention to behavior, body language, and energy levels to make sure pets are comfortable and getting the care they need. I’m patient with shy or anxious animals and make sure they have space, attention, and calm interaction at their own pace. Safety and cleanliness are also important to me, and I make sure pets have a secure environment, fresh water, and plenty of attention and companionship while their owner is away.

I’m detail oriented, communicative, and always ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved in your absence. My experience includes senior pets, new borns, medication administration, and nervous animals who need extra patience. I treat every pet like family and take pride in creating a stress free, positive experience for both pets and their owners. Pet care is a true passion of mine, and with my part-time work schedule, I have the flexibility to give your pets the time, attention, and love they deserve. I structure my days around their needs, whether it’s a morning walk, midday check-in, or evening playtime and cuddles. Your pets won’t just be looked after, they’ll feel safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. I treat every pet like they’re my own. Safety and trust are at the heart of how I care for pets. My home is pet friendly, clean, and fully prepared for furry guests, with a secure, fenced in yard perfect for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. Inside, pets have cozy spots to relax and plenty of space to roam. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines closely to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and right at home.
About: I’m an Honours Zoology graduate from the University of Guelph with a lifelong passion for animal care. I currently have two cats and three dogs, and I’ve grown up caring for both throughout my life. While I love all animals, I have a special soft spot for cats and understand that every cat has a unique personality—whether they’re playful, shy, independent, or love attention. My volunteer experience in a veterinary clinic also taught me to recognize signs of stress and provide calm, patient care. Whether I’m caring for your cat or dog, I’ll treat them like one of my own and keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away. My schedule is currently very flexible, allowing me to accommodate bookings throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and even last-minute requests when available. This flexibility means I can spend quality time with your pet and work around the routine that’s best for them. I understand that inviting someone into your home or trusting them with your pet is a big decision. I’ll always follow your care instructions closely, respect your home, and do my best to maintain the routine your pet is familiar with. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs a little extra patience, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
“Vanessa was awesome! She cared for our cat Luna while we were away, providing lots of updates & photos each visit. We had a last minute change to our pet care and Vanessa was able and willing to help us out with only a few days notice. We really appreciated her stepping up to help us and for being so loving to our sweet Luna. Highly recommend! We will definitely book Vanessa again in the future :)”

I helped train all of my family's dogs growing up (German-Sheppard, Sheepadoodle, and Rottweiler-mix), and I've helped take care of my housemate's cat for the past year (he is the best partner for any game-night, as long as he gets his box!).
