About: Hi, I’m Lina*! I have over six years of animal care experience in shelter and dog daycare environments. I also walked dogs as an independent contractor on top of my other work from 2020 to 2021. I am experienced with handling dogs of all sizes, ages, breeds, and abilities. My number one priority is keeping your dog as safe and comfortable as possible when out in the world – something many novice walkers take for granted! My own dog is dog/leash-reactive, so I have a lot of experience in systematically desensitizing and re-teaching her how to love going out for walks, as well as safely redirecting the occasional uninvited off-leash dog headed toward her. In my previous dog walking job, many of my clients had dogs with mild/moderate behavioural issues; most often lunging/barking at passing dogs. The regular clients I served were impressed with the improvements made over time. I love being able to make a difference and missed it so much that I’m here on Rover. I am certified in pet first aid, and my shelter and daycare experience has given me the skills I need to be comfortable handling just about any manner of medication for cats and dogs. I’ve been working outdoors for the last five years and am absolutely comfortable taking your dog out rain or shine. *I went by Lina when I made my Rover account years ago, but I typically go by my first name, Keegan, now! I will respond to either one, so don't worry! Updated March 2026: I currently have pretty open availability. I am prioritizing recurring clients with mild-moderate reactivity, but I am always interested in meeting new dogs (and cats!) and providing excellent care however I can. If you're interested in house-sitting services, please contact me to discuss; I only accept them on a case-by-case basis and I prioritize stays for clients with behaviourally/medically complex pets. As an alternative, I'm happy to accommodate multiple drop-in visits per day if you're away. I'll make sure your dog gets time to do their business outside, clean up any indoor messes, and give food and any required medications. Please note that my house sitting services do not automatically involve walks beyond several potty breaks throughout the day/evening, generally within fenced yards or just a few minutes up and down the street on a leash. Depending on your dog's care needs, this can be discussed further, but I generally charge more for adding full walks to house sitting jobs.

About: I’m an active dog lover who spends my days walking my own energetic Blue Heeler, hiking local trails, and heading to the beach. I offer reliable dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting with plenty of attention and care. I am home weeknight evenings and available all days on weekends. In summer I have full availability to meet your pets needs at any time! I can also offer training and enrichment if requested. My own dog can be slow to warm up to new dogs, but we have a large home and are happy to keep her fully separated for safety and comfort whenever needed - although she would love to play once comfortable. Your pet will get personalized care in a calm, loving environment! I am currently working full time as a teacher but I am home most days by 4:30pm. I have full availability to be home and care for your pets during the summer. I have a large home with plenty of space for your dog to run and play. I have my own dog who takes a bit of warming up but then will keep your fur baby company! I have an unfenced yard with a leash for potty breaks but can also go for lots of walks. I am happy to crate your pup if they are crate trained. I can offer training and enrichment as requested!

About: My love for dogs began at a young age, and throughout my life I have naturally taken on the responsibility of caring for them. From daily walks and feeding to grooming, hydration, and training, caring for dogs has always been something I genuinely enjoy. For many years, friends, family, and neighbours have trusted me to care for their pets while they are away, giving me valuable hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I have a natural ability to build strong relationships with dogs and often incorporate training into my interactions, including heel work, recall, leash manners, and fun tricks that help strengthen the bond between dogs and their owners. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate, and professional care that gives pet owners peace of mind. I am available Monday through Friday for dog walking services, as well as 2–3 drop-in visits between 5:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. each weekday. I’m currently working part time and am available Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. for 1-hour dog walks or drop-in visits, including potty breaks, feeding, hydration, companionship, and a 15-minute walk. To ensure the comfort and well-being of my own three cats, I do not offer boarding services for dogs or cats in my home. Instead, I provide personalized in-home care through 1–3 daily visits, allowing your pets to remain comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment. For dogs who enjoy a little extra adventure, I have a fully insured and safety-equipped 2003 Honda Civic with dog seatbelt restraints. With your permission, I can take your pup on enriching walks and hikes along the beautiful trails at Emily Provincial Park, providing both exercise and mental stimulation while keeping safety my top priority.

About: I’ve had pets in my home all of my life, but have 3 of my own pets currently - a dog, a cat, and a ball python. I’ve trained both my dog and cat, and have helped family members with training puppies in the past and currently. I’ve done drop in visits for many friends, family, and neighbours over the years. I have experience administering both oral and topical medications for pets, and have always paid attention to every small instruction provided by vets. Knowing how much my pets mean to me, I’m more than happy to follow and respect any pet owners preferences and instructions. I take the time to get to know each pet individually, as I know and respect that they all have different needs, preferences, and boundaries. I work full time Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30, but am available before and after work and on most weekends! On Tuesdays, I’m available until 2pm, and after 9:30pm. I have a black lab, cane corso mix, who just turned 4 years old, as well as a 3 year old cat. I have a fenced in yard, and lots of space behind my house for dogs to run freely if they are trained off-leash, but can always walk them with a leash as well. For visits to the pet owners home, any instructions will be followed closely. I am an honest, diligent person, and am more than happy to meet pet owners prior to taking on any job.

Word on the pup street is that I provide the best scratches! As a parent, I know the importance of being dependable, communicative, and treating others' homes and loved ones with respect. Every pet is unique, and I take the time to follow your instructions carefully so they can stay happy and comfortable in their usual routine. I, of course, also provide feeding and waste pick-up. I am looking forward to meeting you and your puppa-roo! Pet care fits well into my weekly routine and I’m able to be flexible with scheduling. I currently have the capacity to take on check-ins and walks while maintaining a calm, unhurried approach with each visit. I make sure to plan my time so I can give each pet my full attention. (I’m new to Rover) I have (ongoing) experience volunteering at multiple humane societies, volunteering at an animal sanctuary, pet sitting, and I’m going into a Veterinary Technician program next year! About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life and had multiple dogs as pets at once since a child. I have now had two dogs from puppy stage. I currently have a dog that is over 2 years old. I also took care of multiple sled dogs for many years. Daily I walk my dog four times a day. I work a hybrid job and am able to come home on my lunch and sometimes more then that a day. I have one dog to keep your dog entertained I also have a crate if need be. My dog currently is loose at all times. I live in a apartment and take my dog out for walks multiple times a day.

About: I am an emergency medical responder, so I am very comfortable in high-energy environments, and appreciate the mental clarity and peace that only cuddles with fluffy friends can bring. I helped train all of my family's dogs growing up (German-Sheppard, Sheepadoodle, and Rottweiler-mix), and I've helped take care of my housemate's cat for the past year (he is the best partner for any game-night, as long as he gets his box!). I am studying for the MCAT (the exam required for medical school admission), while working as an Event Medic. As such, my schedule is really flexible. I can't wait to bring your doggo(s) out for a fun walk and give lots of cuddles during my study breaks! I will engage in regular exercise sessions and playtime activities based on the pet's needs and preferences. I will follow your feeding schedule, and make sure there is always fresh water available.
