About: Caring for others, both people and animals, has always been an important part of my life. Compassion and caregiving are a big part of who I am. I volunteered for several years with Hospice Services in Lindsay, providing support to people with life limiting illnesses, and continue to help seniors in my community with appointments, advocacy and companionship. I’m also an animal advocate and have volunteered with the Ontario Turtle Trauma Centre, helping transport injured and rehabilitated turtles. While cats are my specialty, I’m also comfortable caring for small and medium-sized dogs. I currently share my home with my beloved pup Duke who is a high anxiety Cockapoo and our elderly cat Chica (technically she shares her home with us). I love the outdoors and enjoy trail walking and kayaking, so getting outside for a good dog walk is something I genuinely enjoy. Most importantly, I understand the trust involved in leaving a beloved pet in someone else’s care. My goal is to give each pet the patience, attention and companionship they need so you can be away knowing they are in caring and dependable hands. As of late October 2026 I plan to devote my time to pet care so I will be available 7 days a week throughout the day or evenings. Sharing my home with a high anxiety dog I know to be cautious when approaching other dogs who are out for a walk. And my sneaky cat who attempts to escape a few times each summer, has taught me to be very observant and cautious when opening doors to ensure indoor pets remain safe.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and bunnies my whole life. From shitzus to Neo Mastiffs/doge de Bordeaux’s, I have experience with many different dog breeds. I currently work on a rotating schedule as a social worker, but can be flexible with my schedule to provide care for your fur baby. About: I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember and have experience caring for all kinds of pets. I have my own dog, whom I’ve trained and care for every day, giving me hands-on experience with training, exercise, feeding, and providing lots of love and attention.
