About: I have been my friends & family's pet sitter for many years. I have lived with and taken care of different breeds, but I have more experience with medium to larger dogs. I have always loved going on long walks with dogs, and can handle the ones with leash aggression. I am extremely patient and will meet a dog where they are! I have some experience (and a lot of interest) with dog training as well as caring for puppies. I always make sure my dogs are well taken care of with fresh water, preferred food schedules, walks and plenty of cuddles and play time. I work full-time during the week until 3:30 pm, which means I'm available early to care for your pets after work! I also usually work from home on Fridays. On the weekends, I am fully available for your pets' needs. I usually would include a longer walk on Saturday and/or Sunday. When I housesit, I always follow your preferred guidelines when it comes to your pet's comfort, schedule and routine. As for my own home, I live in a small apartment on the 4th floor of a building (with balcony) so I can only board small pets and pets who are plant savvy. I live close to Dow's Lake which is amazing for walks along the canal and the Arboretum.

This is the first time we used Rover and it was a great experience. Nicole went above and beyond to drop by our house in advance to meet the dogs. She gave our older dog ear drops for an infection and we loved the photo updates. We felt very comfortable leaving our pets and house in her care.
Jude was beyond amazing. We have never left our dogs before and they can be a little overwhelming at first! 3 Great Pyrenees ranging from 7mos-3 years. He handled their chaos and excitement beautifully upon meeting them at the meet and greet, and put us at ease right away. Of course the dogs calm down after a few minutes of crazy, but at no point did he make us feel like he wouldn't be able to handle it. And true to form, they took to him right away. We have never spent a night away from them and he sent us lots of pictures and videos to get us through. The dogs were happy and healthy when we got home. We requested constant care, with minimal time away (not exceeding 6hrs at a time) as it was their first time with an overnight sitter, and he exceeded our expectations by a mile! He was right on time for both the meet and greet and the day of the sit, and communicated when he was stepping out for a bit (not gone for long at all! Totally reasonable!) He tidied up after himself and even made sure the air conditioning was on for us when we got home (it was going to be a warm evening) so we and the dogs could stay cool the night we got home. He even brought a package in for me. Just overall took fantastic care of our home and our babies. GP's are known to bark a lot, and ours are no exception. Instead of getting frustrated with them when he had a phone meeting, he gave them a good treat to keep them quiet and busy...he is very in tune with how to handle large breed dogs famously known for their independence and goofiness. It was the perfect experience all around and we will be using his services as often as we can. You will not regret hiring him for a second! Best sitter ever! We had multiple changing plans for a family event and met with Stephanie just 3 days before leaving. We have 3 big dogs and a cat, and so were nervous leaving them with a new sitter - but Stephanie was an absolute pro at managing the situation, including giving our German shepherd oral medication and providing our youngest dog with excellent commands to ensure he behaved. She curated her schedule around our dogs needs, and even had our usually not as friendly cat asking for pets. She was so flexible with our changing needs, and excellent communicator and really took our stress away with consistent updates throughout our time away. Would 100/10 recommend!!
Kassandra did an amazing job caring for my two dogs over a longer stay in our home. She provides clear communication and is very attentive to your pet’s needs (including if they need meds). She met our dogs where they were at when it comes to exercise, their routines and quirks.
Keely is without a doubt the best catsitter I’ve ever had. My spicy granny cat who rarely even came out in front of previous sitters was happily sitting with her within a day. She kept us updated with plenty of photos and reports on what the cats were up to, which was a huge relief as we were initially very worried about leaving them alone for so long. Not only that, she went above and beyond in making sure that our house was clean when we came back!
