I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to each dog’s unique personality and needs. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, whether it’s going for walks, playing, or providing companionship. I also frequently pet sit for friends, which has strengthened my ability to handle different breeds and temperaments with care. I like to jog in the park. I take care of friends' dogs when they are on vacation and truly enjoy it. Dogs shouldn't stay indoors during those time. They can have vacation time too :) I'm very respectful of people's home. It's a personal space and I too like when people coming into my house show the same respect. I have a gated yard and work from home half of the week so I can do mornings, noon and evening easily.

About: I have been my friends & family's pet sitter for many years. I have lived with and taken care of different breeds, but I have more experience with medium to larger dogs. I have always loved going on long walks with dogs, and can handle the ones with leash aggression. I am extremely patient and will meet a dog where they are! I have some experience (and a lot of interest) with dog training as well as caring for puppies. I always make sure my dogs are well taken care of with fresh water, preferred food schedules, walks and plenty of cuddles and play time. I work full-time during the week until 3:30 pm, which means I'm available early to care for your pets after work! I also usually work from home on Fridays. On the weekends, I am fully available for your pets' needs. I usually would include a longer walk on Saturday and/or Sunday. When I housesit, I always follow your preferred guidelines when it comes to your pet's comfort, schedule and routine. As for my own home, I live in a small apartment on the 4th floor of a building (with balcony) so I can only board small pets and pets who are plant savvy. I live close to Dow's Lake which is amazing for walks along the canal and the Arboretum.

“Kassandra did a good job with my two Huskies and looking after my house. She had to administer meds, brush the “sheddy ones” and check the yard for things the crows drop in. I liked that she would drive over on her lunch break to give them a quick walk/bathroom break❣️”

“Jude was beyond amazing. We have never left our dogs before and they can be a little overwhelming at first! 3 Great Pyrenees ranging from 7mos-3 years. He handled their chaos and excitement beautifully upon meeting them at the meet and greet, and put us at ease right away. Of course the dogs calm down after a few minutes of crazy, but at no point did he make us feel like he wouldn't be able to handle it. And true to form, they took to him right away. We have never spent a night away from them and he sent us lots of pictures and videos to get us through. The dogs were happy and healthy when we got home. We requested constant care, with minimal time away (not exceeding 6hrs at a time) as it was their first time with an overnight sitter, and he exceeded our expectations by a mile! He was right on time for both the meet and greet and the day of the sit, and communicated when he was stepping out for a bit (not gone for long at all! Totally reasonable!) He tidied up after himself and even made sure the air conditioning was on for us when we got home (it was going to be a warm evening) so we and the dogs could stay cool the night we got home. He even brought a package in for me. Just overall took fantastic care of our home and our babies. GP's are known to bark a lot, and ours are no exception. Instead of getting frustrated with them when he had a phone meeting, he gave them a good treat to keep them quiet and busy...he is very in tune with how to handle large breed dogs famously known for their independence and goofiness. It was the perfect experience all around and we will be using his services as often as we can. You will not regret hiring him for a second!
