“Angela est récemment venue prendre de mes 2 chats pour 2 jours. Elle a accepté à la dernière minute alors que ma gardienne venait de se désister. Un de mes chats étant asthmatique, c'est toujours stressant de le laisser au soin d'autres personnes, mais l'expérience d'Angela, sa disponibilité, ses réponses rapides m'ont rapidement mis en confiance. Je recommande fortement Angela et je demanderai ses services de nouveau à la prochaine occasion!”

About: We have had dogs since always! We care for them and they have always been very healthy and well trained. I worked with a vet at a young age and my extended family used to have a Bark and fitz store. We want to help others with their pets. I work full time but I want to help out and show my kids how to help out as well and that you can get paid for your work. We love dogs and have always had a dog in our home. A pet usually need physical exercises as well as psychological exercises. We can provide this kind of help. We can provide love to your animal and help out with training.

About: I’m a college student currently on summer break with a very flexible schedule, which allows me to be available for walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and pet care throughout the week. Since I’m home full-time, I can often accommodate last-minute bookings as well. I can also speak and understand French quite well, though I’m not perfectly bilingual. I’ve always been a huge animal lover and have experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I currently help care for my one-year-old dog, whom I raised from a puppy, and my nine-year-old cat at my mom’s house. Caring for pets throughout my life has taught me patience, responsibility, and the importance of understanding each pet’s unique personality. I truly love both cats and dogs and will treat your pets with the same care, attention, and affection I give my own. For boarding, I live in a large home with plenty of space and access to over an acre of outdoor property and nearby forested areas for walks and exploration. I also have a hamster in a secure enclosure, which can be kept in a separate room if needed. While I can’t host cats in my home due to family allergies, I’m happy to care for cats through drop-in visits or house sitting. When caring for pets in your home, I want them to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Whether that’s daily walks, trips to the dog park, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to their usual routine, I’ll make sure they receive the care they’re used to. I’ll also send plenty of updates, photos, and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to make every pet feel loved, safe, and cared for while you’re gone. Pet care fits well into my routine because I have a flexible schedule and can easily plan around visits, walks, and feeding times. I’m consistent and reliable, and I always make sure pets stick to their normal routine. I prioritize safety, trust, and making pets feel comfortable whether they are in my home or a client’s home. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and supervised environment that helps pets feel secure and relaxed. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions, respect their space, and stick to the pet’s normal routine. I always ensure doors are secure, provide fresh food and water, clean litter boxes regularly, and pay close attention to each pet’s comfort and behaviour.

About: I grew up with two cats, so I'm familiar with strict care and training routines. My current cat, Kitkat, is a picky eater with prescribed medicine, so I'm very comfortable with giving medication, following specific feeding instructions, and paying close attention to a pet’s health and comfort needs. I currently work part time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your fur baby! I can do walks and scheduled visits as needed. I will keep your pet safe and comfortable with their daily routine. During visits, I handle feeding, water, litter box cleaning for cats, and plenty of head scratches. If your cat is indoors only, like mine, you don't need to worry, I'll keep them inside. For dogs, I offer walks depending on their size and energy levels. I have a dog park near my apartment where they can run around as much as they want!

About: I believe what sets me apart is how patient, reliable, and attentive I am with every pet. I understand that every animal has a different personality and comfort level, so I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m also active and energetic, which is great for dogs that enjoy long walks and playtime, but I can also be calm and gentle with shy or older pets who need extra patience and care. Pet care already fits naturally into my weekly routine. Once a week, when my friend is at work, I help take care of her cat by feeding her, spending time with her, and making sure she’s comfortable. I also walk my friend’s multi-poo twice a week, so I’m used to staying consistent with pet schedules and making sure animals get the care, attention, and exercise they need. I care for pets in my client’s home by following their specific instructions and itinerary to make sure their pet stays comfortable and keeps their normal routine. Whether that includes feeding, playtime, walks, or simply keeping them company, I always make sure pets are cared for with patience and attention. When walking dogs, I prioritize safety, awareness, and making sure they get the exercise and care they need while feeling comfortable and secure.

About: Animals—especially dogs—have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve owned and cared for multiple dogs over the years, including a Maltese Pomeranian mix, and currently a German Shepherd Husky cross and a Lab Aussie Shepherd cross. Caring for active, energetic dogs has taught me the importance of patience, structure, exercise, and giving every dog the love and attention they deserve. To me, dogs are lifelong babies no matter how old they get, and I treat every pet with the same care and affection I would want for my own. What sets me apart from other sitters is my dedication to safety and preparedness. I am currently enrolled in Pet First Aid & CPR training through St. John Ambulance to ensure I can provide extra care in emergency situations. I also keep animal-specific first aid kits both in my home and in my car for added peace of mind. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m currently enrolled in school part-time, which gives me the flexibility to dedicate plenty of time throughout the day for dog walks, drop-ins, and quality care. No matter how busy life gets, I will always make time for a dog walk—or a few! I truly enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so caring for pets never feels like a job to me. At home, I take an active role in caring for my pets and have experience with both raw food and kibble diets, including proper handling and feeding routines. I also know a few effective tips for getting dogs to take their medication safely and with less stress. Since both of my dogs shed a lot, I brush them regularly and vacuum every other day to keep the house clean. I’m also comfortable trimming nails on both light and dark nails and giving full baths

About: I am a high school teacher looking to make some extra cash while doing something that I love over the summer. I have experience with both large and small breeds, as well as experience with reactive and excitable dogs. All of the dogs I have had in my family are from shelters and did not have the best early lives, but my training experience with them has only made me love dogs more. I currently have one dog (and she is the centre of my universe) but I have lived with dogs for over 20 years and have petsit for friends and family many times. I can read a dog's body language and know how to handle potentially risky situations when encountering other dogs or people on an outing. When in the home I know how to entertain and care for dogs for hours and would love nothing more than the opportunity to spend time with yours. As a high school teacher, I have the summers off and as such have wide availability. In caring for my own dog, I routinely go for 2 short walks a day (morning and evening), and often include a longer walk in the afternoon. My little dog will happily share her toys with any friends who come to stay. Dogs are allowed on any furniture including the bed, but I have access to a small-medium crate if need be. For larger breeds who require crates, one will need to be provided.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
