About: I have a love for all animals. I have been the neighbourhood cat sitter ever since I can remember. I will treat your pet like my own, with love, care and patience. I am responsible, reliable and caring, so you can count on me to give your pet the best care and know that they are in safe hands. I have my own furry friends, two guinea pigs, Taffy and Crumble, whom I adore. I take care of them as well as possible by making sure their needs are always taken care of, by giving them constant love, and by making sure they are happy and healthy. I have also owned three other guinea pigs in the past. In addition my brother owns a leopard gecko who I enjoy spending time with and taking care of. Pet care fits into my daily life by caring for my pets each day. I need to be responsible in order to give them the best life they deserve. I clean my guinea pigs cage each day, and wash all of their sheets once a week in order to make sure their home is clean and comfortable. I refill their hay daily and give them their morning veggies and pellets. I care for pets in my home each day, making sure they are living their best life. In my clients home when I do check in pet sitting, I visit them multiple times a day, not only to feed them and clean their space, but also to give them love and attention.

About: I’ve rescued dogs and cats since I was in my early 20s and have dedicated my life to giving them the best possible life. I also worked for a vet clinic and a professional pet sitter/walker for a total of 3 years. I’m passionate about animal husbandry and look forward to giving your pets the best care possible, treating them as if they were my own. I currently work full time but have free time in the evenings and weekends. I want to fill that time with doing what I love while providing the best care that I can give to your pets. I live with a very friendly, 11 year old, senior cat named Emma whom I rescued about 1 year ago. She’s very docile and adapts to any pet that visits, as she lived with other cats and dogs in her previous life. I’m also extremely flexible and adaptable to whatever you or your pets needs are, either in your home or in mine.

About: I’ve always loved animals, especially dogs, since I was young. I grew up with a dog of my own, who I recently lost, and I feel like I need somewhere where I can show dogs this care since his passing. As you might be able to tell from my photos, my dog was a big guy, so I’m very familiar with caring for large dogs and I know how to walk them. Because of this, I also feel very confident walking smaller dogs. I’m also familiar with caring for senior dogs and making sure that they stay on top of medications and exercise. I’m also physically active, and able to walk long distances and lift heavy objects. Above all, I’m eager to learn more about dogs and I would love to build connections with a couple of clients and their pets. I see it as a privilege for someone to allow me to build a relationship with their pet, and it’s my goal to earn that privilege with care :) Currently, I am a graduate student, which means I have a fairly flexible schedule that makes me suited to checking in on/walking pets during the work day. With enough notice, I can likely make most days work within my schedule. I’m especially eager to petsit as a break during my day and an opportunity to stretch my legs. Let me know what your pet’s needs are and we can discuss how that can fit into both of our schedules. In the unlikely event that a conflict ever develops on my end, I will let you know as soon as possible, so that we can come to a solution that works for both of us Having a dog of my own, I’m used to navigating pet body language and responding to their needs/wants. Especially having had a big dog, I know the importance of responding to your pets behaviour and gently ensuring that they are happy while also not acting out (I’m aware it can be pretty challenging to work with a 100lb dog who thinks they’re the one in charge!). I’m focused and vigilant, knowing things to look out for while on walks or potential dangers in the home to pets. I also have access to a car, in the event of any emergencies.
