I've been an animal person my whole life. Growing up with cats, I learned their rhythms, quirks, and quiet ways of communicating, and I've carried that intuition into adulthood with my two adorable kitties. Four years ago, after decades of wanting a dog of my own, I rescued my husky/GSD mix, who has taught me even more about patience, trust-building, and the joy of seeing an animal truly thrive. I have experience from kitten/puppy-hood to older age, as well as experience with reactive dogs. Whether I'm house sitting, dropping in for a visit, or heading out for a walk, I move at the animals pace, letting them get comfortable and show me who they are. For dogs, I love creating enriching adventures tailored to their personality and breed: slow sniff-walks for curious explorers, structured and training-oriented outings for high-energy pups, and calm neighbourhood strolls for seniors. For cats, I love giving them the full-attention experience. Hands on play, grooming, and of course, all the cuddles. My goal is to make your pet feel secure, seen, and genuinely cares for while keeping your home exactly how you left it. I know the stress of leaving your fur-babies in another's hands, because I've been there myself. I want to care for your pet exactly how I would want my pets cared for.

When I'm caring for pets in a client's home, my priority is creating a calm, predictable environment where your animals feel safe and your home is treated with the same respect I give my own. I follow your routines closely - feeding, walks, playtime, and household rules - so your pet's day feels similar and comforting.

I'm so glad I found Kaleigh! She took the time to get to know my larger breed anxious dog and go at his pace. She clearly knows dogs well and has experience training and provides enriching activities for my dog. If I could give 6 stars, I would!! Kayleigh is truly the Mary Poppins of pet care. I booked her for house sitting last minute and she went above and beyond to make things easy for me, even bringing her own sheets so I wouldn't have to do laundry. Beyond making sure the pets were taken care of, she made sure they had fun! She played with my cats, giving them time to build trust with her, and she took my dog on adventures like splashing in the river and trying out new trails. My dog even ate on day one, and he usually doesn't feel safe enough to eat around new people. I would absolutely recommend Kaleigh without hesitation!
Kaleigh is absolutely wonderful with my aussie/collie mix, Freya. She regularly watches her for full weekends and pops by for daytime walks when we’re away, and Freya is always excited to see her. She’s reliable, gentle, and genuinely tuned in to what dogs need to feel comfortable and happy. I trust her completely (she is my sister after all) and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, dependable sitter.
Kaleigh baby set my 3 devon rex cats. Not only was she baby sitting them, and answered all their needs, she went above and beyond to give them so much love and attention. My cats love to snuggle and she let them cuddle her with no personal space. I recommend Kaleigh for your pets. She is someone you can trust!

Schedule
I currently work hybrid (only 1-2 days in office), with the rest of the time spent working remotely from desk, couch, or wherever your pet wants me to be. My fiancée and I live together, so he is able to care for our own pets when I take on house sitting arrangements.
