“Bonnie is amazing. Everyone says they're good with dogs but she really clearly is. Handles our rambunctious 3yo 80lbs german shepherd like a pro! Very reliable and trustworthy.”

“Norma has been a god send! She has a lot of knowledge on training which is helping Bean improve. She takes her to public places to practice being calm. It helps so much having Norma supporting Bean’s training! Highly recommend!”

“Jen is amazing with my three pups! They love when they see her pull up to the house to go on there walks! I really appreciate everything she does and love getting the pictures of their adventures while I’m at work!”

About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience taking care of dogs for friends and family. I’ve helped with walking, feeding, and spending time with pets so they feel comfortable and relaxed while their owners are away. I’m attentive, responsible, and patient, and I always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m available most weekdays in the mornings and afternoons, and sometimes in the evenings as well. My schedule is fairly flexible, which allows me to spend quality time caring for pets, taking them on walks, and making sure they feel comfortable and well looked after. I take pet safety and comfort very seriously. I always make sure pets feel calm and secure in their environment, whether it’s in my home or a client’s home. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding, routines, and any special needs. I keep a clean, safe space and always pay close attention to pets to make sure they are happy and well cared for.

About: I'm currently a horse back riding coach. I've pet sit for many animals like dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, hamsters, snakes, and geckos. I've walked and trained many dogs throughout the years. I've worked on a farm with horses, pigs, goats, alpacas, geese, and chickens. I'm currently working part time so I'll have lots of time for pet care! Typically I'm working and won't be available Tuesdays 9-5 & Thursdays 8-4:30 However this isn't the case every week so feel free to ask! Working with animals for so many years safety is always my top priority. I notice what's happening in the home or on walks that could be a hazard. I have quick reaction time and am super patient with animals. I'll take the time to get to know your pet. There favorite spot to be scratched, how they learn best, and their favorite toy!
About: I have taken care of one small dog and one large dog at the same time. I loved going on walks with them, (even during Canadian winter temps!), and playing together at home and the dog park was lots of fun! I have spent much time around the dogs of my friends and family members and would love to spend time taking care of your small or medium sized pup. I am comfortable with feeding, walking and any other dog care chores required for the well-being of your doggie! I currently work in a casual position at the hospital, and therefore have several days off throughout the week where I would be able to spend entire days with your dog or cat! On days that I do work, I am happy to visit/live-in with your pet(s) outside of my work hours. My schedule is flexible however, so please let me know what your preferences are. When I have cared for pets in the past, the owners have always provided me with anything I need for the dogs/cats, including food, toys, leashes, doggie bags, litterbox supplies, and of course, treats. I feel comfortable caring for your pets using anything they are familiar with on a normal basis so that it does not interrupt their routine too much. I also like to keep in touch with the owners throughout my time taking care of their pets, sending pictures and updates whenever possible.
About: I’ve had cats at home since I was 10 and I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family for many years. My cat Harry is 14 and diabetic, so I have experience with measuring blood sugar, administering insulin and medication if needed. I am also able to recognize red flags and changes in cat behavior which helps a lot if you have a pet with health issues. The most important things for me: 1) being on time - never late to visits 2) clear communication - always available via messages and calls 3) responsibility - being entrusted with your pets is not something I take lightly I work from home so I am somewhat flexible in scheduling visits according to your needs. Free meet and greet / key pickup visit I’m currently working part-time and have a flexible schedule that could be adjusted to your needs. I can be available in the mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends depending on the workload. Always available, will provide all the information and photos/videos of your pet. Since my cat is a single child, unfortunately I cannot provide my place for pet sitting.
“We’ve had an great experience with our Jennifer. She is reliable and clearly love what they do. Aspen is happy and well-exercised after every walk. Communication is great, with helpful updates and photos that give peace of mind. It’s such a relief knowing our dog is in caring and capable hands—highly recommend!”

“I have been so happy and relieved to have Wendy walking my precious girl Luna. From our first meet and greet I felt comfortable and confident that Luna was in good hands. Wendy always showed up on time and never cuts the hour walk short. Luna was so excited to see Wendy when she picked her up. Not being able to walk my Luna due to physical issues was really difficult so having Wendy made my situation less stressful for me. I will certainly book again with Wendy if I need a dog walker again. Thanks Wendy you were wonderful with Luna!”

“Shannon is amazing. I had an accident and she was able to accommodate more days with little notice. Dependable. Ziggy gets so excited, when his harness goes on he is at the window waiting... 100% recommend!”

“It’s always scary leaving your pets behind while on vacation and Celia was so kind, always sending pictures and updates and able to handle our big dog. Would definitely recommend her to others and would love to use her services again in the future!”

About: I have owned many dogs and cats throughout my entire life. I have helped friends, family, and neighbours with caring for their pets, including walking, feeding, bathing and grooming. I am available all day to care for any animals. I welcome any pets that want to stay overnight and spend time with my lovely corgi, Fergus! I live in a very walkable neighbourhood with many trails and paths, and have a very friendly fur baby to entertain and be great company for your pet! Fergus loves dogs and cats. I have lots of open space within the house for play and rest.
“Kirstin & Justin walked Rhea twice while I was out of the house for an extra long work day. They were attentive to her needs, provided pupdates with photos, and were cared for her like she was their own. I was also appreciative that they took the time to meet her with me before their first solo walk so they could familiarize themselves with Rhea’s specific quirks/commands/temperament. 10/10! So grateful to have found trustworthy folks to care for my angel.”

Very sweet, she always takes such amazing care of my dogs. Is the sweetest walker I’ve ever had, takes many pictures while on walks, or house sittings so I can see my dogs. Always asks permission if my dogs are allowed certain treats. I would 110% recommend her if you need your dog taken care of. 10/10

Heyao is the absolute best. She has been walking our 1-year-old Bernese daily for just over a month now. Hayao is responsive and responsible with Hobbes. He is always so happy to see her and I always know that he is in the best of hands. I would recommend Hayao to anyone who needs an extra hand with their pets!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bells Corners choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
