About: I am a dog-lover looking to become more involved in my community and help animals in any way I can. For as long as I can remember, there has been nothing that brings me more joy than seeing a happy and healthy dog enjoying the day, even if it is simply in passing at a park or out for a walk. It is for this reason that I have decided to join this program to dog-sit and walk dogs more regularly. As an experienced dog owner, I have personal experience caring for a dog throughout his entire life, which has increased my knowledge on dogs' needs at different ages. I currently have a 2.5 year old golden retriever, and we are loving life together! I have experience in ensuring dogs get the appropriate amount of physical exercise, food, playtime, love and affection, and medicine as required when offering boarding services. I also have experience walking the dogs that I have cared for/boarded in a safe manner that allows them to get out their energy and enjoy the outdoors. I also have volunteer experience with the Kingston Humane Society, where I provided dogs and cats attention, loving care and physical exercise where appropriate and as needed, to ensure their experience in the humane society was a positive one until they could find their well-matched forever home. I believe this experience would specifically be of great help for home-visits with dogs. I’m currently working from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pups! I am available at a variety of times throughout the week and on weekends. Please reach out and I’ll do my best to accommodate :) My friendly and playful golden retriever Milo would be glad to keep your dog company! We live across from a park where we go for daily physical activity and playtime.

“Jen is amazing with my three pups! They love when they see her pull up to the house to go on there walks! I really appreciate everything she does and love getting the pictures of their adventures while I’m at work!”

“Edelaine was great, she really took the time to get to know our boy and make him feel comfortable with her!”

About: I’ve been house and pet-sitting since I was 16. Always making sure my friends and family can step away with zero stress and their fur babies are the star of the show! I’ve taken care of small to medium sized mostly, but large dogs a few times. No matter where I go, pets gravitate towards me! My schedule is very flexible and I have great knowledge of the city with reliable transportation. I play sports in the evening a few days a week but nothing that can’t be worked around I will ensure I study the area my clients live in and discuss the areas and routines your pets are accustomed to. Also, the type words they respond to. I always want to ensure they will feel safe and comfortable.

“Great communication, On time and super friendly person. Would definitely recommend. Loved the pictures he sent while he took my dog on a walk.”

About: A dedicated and loving Dog-Grandma for all your dog’s needs and care. Caring for dogs is more than a lifestyle, they’re true family members. I have a lifetime of dog care experience in all ranges of circumstances. My children blessed me with the care of all sorts of animals as they were growing up. Our families cats lived to be 21 years old and our husky to be 18 years old. I have spent the past 3 years volunteering for a dog rescue in Mississauga called Mattie’s Place, which has granted me the privilege of welcoming many foster dogs into my home for different periods of time. From senior dogs to aggressive dogs to dogs with special needs, all were transitioned into our home and left with loving well-mannered traits to forever homes. I adopted my special-needs dog, Boone, who has cerebral hyperplasia and epilepsy. I have experience with his immobility, seizures, and medication administration. I am the trusted dog grandma for all of my now adult children’s dogs and other family members. This led me to Rover, where I can now lend my passionate heart and devotion to animals with others. Thank you for trusting me with your furry companions. I am a stay at home dog grandma/mom, spending my days with my own animals in my home near Bayshore mall. Whether care be at your home or mine, I am around full-time at your convenience to care for your fur companions. My schedule is flexible and open to accommodate your needs. I have many years experience transitioning foster dogs into my home with my resident dogs and can offer care in either my home or yours. I have a car to travel to you as needed. I also have a fully fenced in acre that is available for your animals. My home is a split level and can accommodate dogs who need to be separated as well.

“Courtney is amazing with my dog Pinot, a large 80lb greyhound who has a few special needs. She’s trustworthy, reliable, and sends you a ton of pics! I’m so happy to know my big boy gets exercise and love during the day when I’m away at work. I highly recommend her!”

“Shannon is amazing. I had an accident and she was able to accommodate more days with little notice. Dependable. Ziggy gets so excited, when his harness goes on he is at the window waiting... 100% recommend!”

19. Jennifer G.
“Jenn is pure magic with animals, and honestly, I'm starting to think my dog likes her more than me. From the first meet-and-greet, there was this instant connection, like they’d been besties in a past life. She’s warm, intuitive, and treats your fur baby like they’re part of her family. Every visit is filled with genuine care, calming energy, and just the right amount of goofy love that pets thrive on. She also sends the best updates, like, Pulitzer-worthy pup reports with pics that melt your heart. We always feel completely at ease knowing Jenn’s in charge. Reliable, kind, and basically the Mary Poppins of pet care. Just be warned: your dog may pack a bag and try to move in with her.”
