Growing up, I have always wanted a cat of my own but, due to family allergies, was never able to have one in the house. Less than a week after moving out on my own, I adopted my (now 12 year old) Balinese, Lucy. I have a lot of experience doing drop-in visits for friends' cats as well: providing fresh water, pre-instructed food amounts, scooping litter boxes and giving lots of attention and playtime to make them feel fulfilled! About: I've had my American Shorthair, Pangpang, since he was a tiny kitten, and he's 9 now. His name means “chubby” in Chinese — although he's actually not chubby at all! He's been my little buddy through different cities and eventually all the way to Canada, and I honestly can't imagine life without him. I've always taken care of everything he needs, from food, fresh water and litter boxes to grooming, dental care and plenty of playtime. After so many years together, I've also become pretty good at noticing the little signs when something doesn't seem quite right. About: My history includes owning the two best dogs, a Labrador Retriever and then Great Dane rescue and currently have recent experience with guide dog training and boarding as well as fostering with two rescues. I am now retired and travelling so not looking for a full time dog just yet, but love having dogs in the house, to walk, play, and cuddle. I will not overlap my commitments with your pooch! I’m a one dog home. I’m retired so home a lot of the time, enjoy taking dogs to playdates with select dogs in fenced yards, have a dog walking group that goes nightly. I’ve had some some success with running with foster dogs and do enjoy training exercises if we are both agreeable. I have a fenced yard, do prefer a dog that is crate trained/comfortable but know older dogs especially may not need or use them. Positive reinforcement is the only technique that I use and like toys, playing fetch. I have experience with giving medications.

About: I have had my own dog and/or taken care of friends and family's dogs for close to 40 years. Now that I'm retired, I am home all day and available for walks, potty breaks, playtime throughout the day and evenings. We have nice walking paths for plenty of socialization or quiet streets for those who are more on the timid side. Work is now a thing of the past, ready to spend time with more furry four-leggers and less time with bossy two-leggers lol. My days are all about my dogs, reading and going for walks. I have a fully fenced yard, not a huge yard though which is why we prefer to go for multiple walks a day for exercise. Our dogs are always allowed on our furniture as we see them as a member of the family and not just some pet. Fresh water is always available 24/7.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teen. Family and friends have relied on me to watch their fur babies, from walking them to feeding them, playing with them and giving them medication etc. I have also trained puppies and have a bit of experience with rescue dogs. Currently a stay at home wife/mom and have the time to take your fur babies for walks as well as play with them. We do have three children who can also give your pet some extra love and attention if they like but can also give them space. I have a fenced yard and a friendly fur baby of my own named Milo. He is a 2-year old golden doodle who loves making new friends. I can also crate your fur baby if that is what they are accustomed to at home. There are many dogs in our neighborhood so making friends on our walks is a normal occurrence.

About: I've had pets in my life for many years. I raised my Schnauzer from a puppy and had him for over 13 years. Now I have a 9-year-old American Shorthair cat, and I've had him since he was a kitten. So I've been there through different stages of their lives, and I understand that what they need can change as they get older. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I'm more than happy to play with them, keep them company, and give them lots of attention. If your dog loves being active, I'd also be happy to go for a run with them! As a pet owner myself, I know how much we worry about our pets when we're away. I'll follow their usual routine and your instructions, pay attention to how they're doing, and send you photos or videos so you know they're happy and doing well. My schedule is pretty flexible right now, so I have plenty of time for drop-in visits throughout the week and on weekends. I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I’m patient, responsible and treat every dog with love, attention and respect. I’ll make sure your pup gets plenty of exercise, playtime, cuddles and care while you’re away! 🐾💕 I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your furry friend! I have lots of availability for dog walking, pet sitting and boarding in my home. I’m happy to work around your dog’s routine and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime and love. Whether your pup needs a quick walk or lots of activity throughout the day, I’m happy to accommodate their needs! 🐾 I live in a spacious apartment with my own friendly dog, and I can keep the dogs safely separated if your pup prefers their own space or is uncomfortable around other dogs. There is also a small dog park right next door for supervised play and exercise. The Aylmer Marina is about a 10-minute walk away, so I can also offer longer walks and plenty of outdoor time. Your dog’s comfort and safety always come first, and I’ll make sure they feel happy, comfortable and cared for while they’re with me! 🐶💕
About: I grew up with tons of different pets in the house; from puppies to Guinea pigs and everything in between. I genuinely love spending my time with animals. Whether that be on a long sunny morning walk or cuddling on the couch with a good book in hand. I work fully remotely so my schedule is flexible. I have my own dog and she enjoys frequent sniffs outside and lots of cuddles, so I’m used to taking breaks. I have a lovely, friendly Pomeranian of my own who shares my home with me. About: I have had 3 rescue dogs over the last 26 years, ranging in age from a puppy to rescuing a 3 year old Malamute. I care for all my pets for their whole lives with me. I work from home and can spend as much time as needed with each dog, they can spend time in my office when I am working. I have a completely fenced in backyard and I am close to several walking paths and a dog friendly park for playing. Playing in my house is also an option for those rainy days.
