I am truly, truly grateful to have found this caregiver on Rover. From the very beginning, communication was excellent — they were patient, attentive, and took the time to understand BoNiu’s daily routine, eating habits, personality, and special care needs. During the stay, I received regular photo and video updates, along with thoughtful messages about how BoNiu was doing, which gave me so much peace of mind. BoNiu does have a few things that require extra attention, and they remembered every detail and handled everything with great care. It’s very clear that they genuinely love dogs and take their responsibility seriously. I would absolutely choose this caregiver again without hesitation and would confidently recommend them to any pet parent looking for someone trustworthy and caring. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of BoNiu!

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life. I grew up with cats, dogs and horses. I currently have my cat, Bear, who was raised alongside my Great Pyrenees, Bandit. I adopted Bandit when he was five and cared for him through his senior years, including managing daily medication and the extra attention that comes with an older, large-breed dog. That experience taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and attentive care, whether I’m looking after cats, energetic dogs, or senior pets who need a gentler approach. I work from home, so I’m around during the day for feedings, walks, playtime, and company. I’m also an active person, which makes it easy for me to keep up with pets who have more energy, while still sticking to their usual routines. With the flexibility of my job, I’m able to adapt my schedule to meet each pet’s individual needs. In my home, pets are cared for in a comfortable, relaxed environment with access to my backyard and nearby walking trails for regular walks and fresh air. I do have a cat, so any pets staying with me need to be cat-friendly. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their usual routines closely — from feedings and walks to playtime and litter care — so they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after while you’re away. For drop-ins, afternoons and evenings work best with my schedule, but I’m always happy to chat and find what works best for you.

Dylan was great, he was a last minute booking because our previous sitters bailed with no notice and I’m so glad we got him to take care of our cats while we were away getting married! He showed up when he said, sent tons of pictures, kept in communication, and went on a cat hunt when our one cat decided to hide in the couch. Thank you Dylan! Highly recommend!

Erica did a wonderful job with Louie during her drop-in visit today. She spent quality time playing with him, took him for a walk, and made sure all his needs were taken care of. Louie had a bit of an upset stomach, and Erica communicated with us right away, which we really appreciated. It gave us peace of mind knowing she was attentive, responsible, and keeping a close eye on him. Thank you, Erica, for taking such great care of Louie!

About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life and other kinds of pets. I currently have 3 cats and 1 guinea pig(closed caged).our dog sadly passed away at almost 12 a few years ago. I've helped many friends and family with pet care services for their dogs and cats while they are on vacation. I will be returning to college in the spring to become a veterinary Assistant. I know how to recognize changes in behavior or not feeling well. I love all animals like they are my own. I am currently unemployed and am looking to start my path in pet services part-time as I am becoming a veterinary assistant and must complete some online courses before hand. When caring for friends and family pets, I usually go to their house and do the feeding, letting dogs out or going for a walk, clean cat litters and ensure they have water. In my home my guinea pig is in a closed cage in a room that if I would need to lock up my cats for the day it would be okay. My cats are free in my house and we have multiple litter boxes and water bowls and fountain. We currently do not have a fenced yard but the fence will be going up this summer.

Victoria was truly amazing:) I had a last minute vacation booked with my mum and was in a complete panic searching for someone who could administer medication for one of my fur babies, and more importantly, someone I could trust with my kids while I was away...I couldn't be happier. She accepted the job on short notice and when my flight was cancelled and I was terrified that my cats wouldn't have anyone go to visit, she quickly agreed to the additional days. I came back, the house was immaculate and my cats were desperate for my love: a great sign! When they don't get enough attention I'm typically punished for a few days. I received pictures and updates every day and I can't thank her enough, nor can I do anything but recommend her with complete confidence! An amazing first experience with this app:)

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teen. Family and friends have relied on me to watch their fur babies, from walking them to feeding them, playing with them and giving them medication etc. I have also trained puppies and have a bit of experience with rescue dogs. Currently a stay at home wife/mom and have the time to take your fur babies for walks as well as play with them. We do have three children who can also give your pet some extra love and attention if they like but can also give them space. I have a fenced yard and a friendly fur baby of my own named Milo. He is a 2-year old golden doodle who loves making new friends. I can also crate your fur baby if that is what they are accustomed to at home. There are many dogs in our neighborhood so making friends on our walks is a normal occurrence.

About: I've been working with dogs since I graduated from high school. I was a dog trainer not 4 years ago, and can help with any training that may be required/requested! I also have experience working in a shelter, so any trouble makers or anxious pups won't scare me away! I am currently on my summer break from university, which means I have lots of time to watch and play with your pet! I am offering to house sit for you at any time and for any length of time, or if you prefer drop in visits/walks around the neighborhood, I would love to help in any way I can. Any and all care I provide to your pet in your home is dictated and approved by you. I've worked with both dogs and cats who have moderate to severe dietary restrictions, as well as mobility issues, allowing for a more experienced sitter than others. They're safety and happiness is always my number one priority, and I will ensure they are given the best care available.

Anna was amazing. She was very communicative and clearly cared for our cats extremely well. Our shy cat who doesn't like strangers even became comfortable around her, which shows how well she works with pets. When something went wrong in our home (flood) she contacted us and took pictures and took other steps to minimize property damage. She has extremely good judgment and is very caring. Would 100% recommend her and would absolutely work with her again.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 1,446 sitters on Rover for Pet Sitting in Bells Corners. About 85% of Bells Corners sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Bells Corners stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:

  • Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
  • House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
  • Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.

Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bells Corners choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 86% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 86% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
