Welcome! My name is Kayla and I have been passionate about animals for as long as I can remember. At age 12, I compiled research, which convinced my parents to adopt our first dog, a retired rescue greyhound named 'Scooby.' I have experience with pet sitting, walking and caring for various types of pets including: dogs (small-medium, puppies, seniors, special needs), cats and pocket pets. I currently have a shorki-poo named Maggie-May, who is known as the 'friendliest dog in the neighbourhood.' I decided to create a Rover account because I truly enjoying taking care of animals and as a way to contribute to the pet community, while providing affordable services. I have experience caring for, walking and sitting various types of pets (my own and for others). I strongly feel that an introduction to your pet, to ensure that we are a great fit, as well as to discuss care/safety is essential.

Kayla is a very caring, respectful and trustworthy person. She is attentive to my dog's needs and takes wonderful care of him with regular walks, including long ones when he has extra energy; administering daily medications; and giving lots of cuddles! Leaving my dog with Kayla's is the first time in my life that I can go on a vacation and never worry about him, knowing the high quality of personalized care he is getting...and that is priceless!
Kayla is an incredibly gentle and caring being. She has a deep love for not only her own but for others’ as well. She is filled with calmness and love and it is evident that the pets in her presence feel it too. Kayla is extremely organized and dependable. She is someone who can be relied on. Kayla is always responsible; prioritizing her job, tasks and commitments above all. Kayla can typically be found snuggled up with Maggie May, on adventurous walks or giving treats. My Husky loves when Auntie comes over as she is always bearing treats to offer or scratches on the back. Overall, whatever your or your pets may need I can confidently say Kayla someone worth connecting with!
Kayla has been an excellent steward for our furry little family members. She enthusiastically spends her free time learning something new that can enhance their quality of care. I feel truly blessed to have Kayla as a caretaker for Maggie and If Maggie could talk I’m sure she’d say the same!:)

Schedule
I work remotely full-time and I am available after 4 p.m. on weekdays. I am flexible on weekends. Care requirements and expectations can be discussed further.
