About: I've cared for animals my whole life. I grew up with my Bernese Mountain Dog, who's been by my side since I was young, and I also have a cat of my own. On top of that, I regularly look after my girlfriend's cat, as well as my friends' dogs whenever they need a hand. Caring for animals isn't just something I do, it's something I've always done, and I genuinely love it. I'm a Human Kinetics student at the University of Ottawa and a varsity athlete with the Gee-Gees. Balancing the demands of student-athlete life has taught me how to manage my schedule effectively, and even with all that on my plate, I still make plenty of time to care for animals. On top of my studies and training, I also run my own sewing business, which reflects the same discipline and reliability I bring to everything I do. When I'm in a client's home, I always respect their space and follow their pet's established routine as closely as possible — sticking to their regular feeding times, walking schedule, and any specific instructions the owner gives me. I pay close attention to each animal's body language and comfort level, especially with pets I'm meeting for the first time, and I make sure all doors, gates, and leashes are secure before heading out or leaving them unattended. My background in Human Kinetics has also given me a solid understanding of how physical activity and rest affect overall well-being, which I apply to make sure every dog gets an appropriate amount of exercise for their age, breed, and energy level never pushing them too hard, but making sure they get what they need.

About: I love hanging out with pets and giving them lots of attention, play and care. While I have only owned guinea pigs growing up, I am lucky enough to have friends and family who allow me to look after their pets (cats and dogs of all the personalities). I am patient, responsible, and always happy to learn what makes your pet feel safe and comfortable. I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention and love while you’re away. I am a student and able to structure my day according to the pet's needs. I can basically work from anywhere, so that will make it easy to adapt. However, I do usually not accept engagements for more than one week at a time. I enjoy spending time with cats and dogs, and playing with them. I can care for your pet in your home or taking them out for walks, making sure that they get plenty of love and attention, and giving you updates on how they're doing.

About: Growing up with two pets, I have always been around cats and dogs growing up, and since moving out from Toronto to Ottawa I've been hoping to help out some pets in need of love, company and some walks! She had Cushing’s disease, so I’m very familiar with caring for slower, senior dogs who need patience and gentle walks. About: When I was young I remembered I had always wanted a cat. Over the past 6 years, I now have a cat and 2 dogs living under the same roof as me and I couldn't be happier. I love taking my dog Henny & Griff out to run in fields and woods, and I love coming home to my cat Lo immediately sleeping on my lap. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets, and I’m happy to be that extra pair of eyes and hands to make sure your pets are well-fed and comfortable while you’re away. I'm a full-time university student but have the summer off to help out wherever I can!
