About: Hello everybody ! My name is Andrea, since I was a little kid I had a passion for dogs in general, from learning the different breeds, and spending time with them. My mom got a pair of Bischon Frisés when I was 10 years old and my life has changed since then. I used to treat my little dogs like family because that's what they were for me. Currently I do not owe any pet, with that being said, I can focus 100% on yours, and we will have the best dates!. I feel very comfortable with small - medium dogs. I've been a dog walker about a year. I have pee pads around my apartment, if your dog is potty trained outside I can do so 3 times per day or according to your instructions. My apartment has a big yard for dogs to use. My hobbies are watching movies ,scooting around the neighborhood, doing yoga and spending time with my family. I'm very grateful to Rover cause it's like I get paid for doing what I truly enjoy, I will make sure your dog gets a very good time. Currently I work in the mornings as a PSW. However my husband is always at home, your dog will never be left alone. I am available to watch him/her afternoons, evenings and overnights :) I have a yard in my apartment ,( I know, not so many apartments have one ). I will spend time mostly stimulating your dog with toys , I'm hosting small- medium dogs.
About: I grew up with two cats, so I'm familiar with strict care and training routines. My current cat, Kitkat, is a picky eater with prescribed medicine, so I'm very comfortable with giving medication, following specific feeding instructions, and paying close attention to a pet’s health and comfort needs. I currently work part time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your fur baby! I can do walks and scheduled visits as needed. I will keep your pet safe and comfortable with their daily routine. During visits, I handle feeding, water, litter box cleaning for cats, and plenty of head scratches. If your cat is indoors only, like mine, you don't need to worry, I'll keep them inside. For dogs, I offer walks depending on their size and energy levels. I have a dog park near my apartment where they can run around as much as they want!
About: With years of pet-sitting experience, I’ve cared for a wide range of animals, including puppies, cats, and bunnies. I’m comfortable with pets of all types and understand the unique care each one needs. Whether it’s keeping up with the energy of playful puppies or ensuring cats feel safe and comfortable, I prioritize their well-being. My patience and attentiveness set me apart, ensuring every pet feels loved and at ease while you're away. I work during the day, but I’m available to care for pets on weekends and after work. I work hybrid, so I am able to care for cats/dogs some days during the week. This schedule allows me to dedicate my free time to giving pets the attention, care, and love they deserve. Whether it’s evening check-ins, playtime, or weekend pet-sitting, I’m committed to providing reliable and compassionate care that fits both my schedule and your pet’s needs. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or my client’s. I create a stress-free environment by following each pet’s routine, providing a secure space, and ensuring they feel comfortable and loved. I’m attentive to their needs, from feeding and exercise to medication and companionship. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care so both pets and owners can feel at ease.

About: I have never known a life without dogs and cats in my family. I have cared for dogs of all ages and sizes. I volunteered with my local shelter to walk adoptable dogs and attended training lessons with my own dog. I have experience giving a dog a bath and could even go on a small jog with a dog if desired. I love going for walks around the neighbourhood and miss being able to bring my dog down to the lake. I would love to give some attention to dogs in the Ottawa area whose parents are out for the day. I have a few online classes throughout the week, but my afternoons are fairly open, and I'm looking for something to fill that time. Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have early mornings and evenings, whereas on Mondays and Wednesdays, I have the entire afternoon available. I am very cautious about locking doors and leaving things within reach of dogs, and I can get dogs into crates if required. I have a small apartment, so I would not be looking to bring animals here, but I am a very responsible and organized individual.
“Kelsea was great with my puppy! Took him out for a walk and spent time playing with him at home too. He was happy and calm when I got back, which says a lot. She also sent me tons of pics, which I loved. Would definitely book her again 😊”

“Laurie took great care of my little cat and sent numerous photos and notes about how it was going. I returned to happy, satisfied kitty. I plan to book with Laurie again. Thanks Laurie!”

“We scheduled an additional meet and greet with a walk so that our dog could get more familiar with Nicole. Nicole sent a reminder and was on time. She asked questions to get to better understand our nervous dog and was gentle and patient with her.”

“This is Stephanie’s second time watching my cat. She’s a great communicator and very dependable. She sends great updates and makes you feel like your pet is in safe hands. Thank you Stephanie!”

“Chantal responded super quickly when we were left stranded by another (non-Rover) pet-sitter. We were so appreciative!! She sent us videos of the cats while we were away and it made us (me especially) feel much less nervous about leaving the cats - we have two. One of our cats is super nervous and hides when any new person comes into the house, but she made fast friends with Chantal!! Honestly - it was such a relief to have someone really caring come in and care for the cats.”

“Kate was amazing with storm, she left everything so clean and tidy. Storm was very happy with her, she is very good with puppies & he loved all the attention from her 😊 I will definitely be rebooking with Kate!”

“Emma was great! She was super covid safe, making sure to wipe everything down after she left her last check in, and made our kitten super happy! We really appreciated the pictures she sent, we always knew our cat was having a good check in :). She also went above and beyond and watered some plants for us. Thanks Emma!”
“Melissa was an excellent cat sitter! Her communication before, during, and after her visits was top-notch. During her visits, she provided lots of details on how the cats were doing (and photos!) and ensured they were well taken care of. I will happily have Melissa check in on my cats again in the future!”

“Evan took care of my kitties so well. They were so happy and healthy when I returned. My apartment was cleaner than how I had left it felt as. He also sent me kitties picture and updates on each visit. I really appreciated that. Plus he said he’s a photographer so he took the best pictures of my kitties. I will definitely be printing them.”

About: We all want what's best for our pets. As a pet-owner myself, I've struggled to find someone dependable, caring and reasonably priced. Thankfully you found my profile which has what you need in a pet sitter! I've taken care of friends and family's dogs for over 8 years with walking, caring for senior dogs, house sitting, administrating medication. You name it and I wi get it done I am available most evenings after I get home from my full time job. Weekends are usually open with enough notice. Reach out and let's chat! I give them LOTS of attention and love finding creative ways to get them moving and active. Being outside and doing things with your animal is important. Keeping them occupied is important to avoid them getting into trouble😉

About: My mom has a farm which she saved over 10 dogs! I often go and help out, we also got our cat and dog from the street too! Totally support adaption over purchasing! I’m currently a master student and I have a part time job which only for the weekends! So I’m very free during the days, and I have had experiences with dog sitting before for a friend’ I live in an apartment and no worry about the dogs running out! I’m also a “helicopter” mom hahaha, I would constantly check what they are doing.
“Excellent dog sitter; accommodated our last minute request and was very kind. Our dog seemed content when we came back and she followed our instructions exactly! Will definitely keep in contact for future sits 😊”

“Taylor did a great job dropping in twice to care for our dog Lucy. We felt at ease while we were gone, she fed her, walked her, and sent us pics. We will definitely hire her again!”

About: I have loved all animals, big, medium, and small, since I was a child! I used to work at PetSmart and have garnered quite a bit of knowledge about animal nutrition, play, and behaviour. I work a full-time job, so I will be available in the evenings and on the weekends to walk, play, and check in on your animals! I live steps away from a walking path and a dog park, and I have a closed-off deck attached to my apartment that offers plenty of sunlight.
About: I’ve always loved caring for a variety of animals. From cats, dogs, rabbits, and chickens I’ve always been quite the adaptable guardian. I began a small dog-walking business at 11 and have owned animals for as long as I can remember. I understand most of their needs and am always willing to understanding their quirks and personalities. I make it my mission to handle beloved pets with utter respect and compassion. I currently attend university full-time but have lots of time in-between to care for your pet! I am home most weekdays after 12 and am available (and flexible) on weekends. I have a pet-friendly residence for those looking for boarding and can reassure you that there are ample amounts of parks near me to walk your cute dog! My house is relatively quiet, very clean, and welcoming.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Ottawa
Myfanwy was absolutely wonderful with our dogs, Rocko and Lady! We were relocating from Georgia to Canada, so this was a big transition for our family, and she gave us complete peace of mind while we traveled. She was communicative, reliable, and clearly cared about our dogs as if they were her own. We loved receiving updates and could tell they were comfortable and well cared for. She even went above and beyond with thoughtful touches that made us feel so welcomed. I would not hesitate to book with Myfanwy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and dependable pet sitter. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our pups!🦴🐾🤗

Finding someone you truly trust with your dog is incredibly hard, especially when you’re doing it all on your own, and Shayla has honestly been a rare gem for us. She walks Dolton regularly and boards him when needed, and the level of care, communication, and professionalism she provides is exceptional. What really stands out with Shayla is the peace of mind she gives. She sends thoughtful updates, great pictures, and communicates consistently, which makes such a difference when you’re away from your pet. You never feel left wondering how things are going or whether your dog is okay. She clearly pays attention to the dogs in her care and genuinely gets to know their personalities and needs. Dolton is always excited to see her, comfortable around her, and comes back happy, calm, and well cared for. As someone who relies heavily on trustworthy support for my dog, that means everything to me. Shayla is reliable, patient, organized, and genuinely caring. It never feels transactional. It feels like she truly cares about the animals she works with. Honestly, people like Shayla are hard to find. When you find someone dependable who treats your dog with kindness, keeps you informed, and makes leaving your pet less stressful, you realize how valuable that is. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker or boarding service.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!! We feel incredibly lucky to have found Steph. She is absolutely wonderful with our puppy and consistently goes above and beyond. Not only does she make sure he gets great walks and care, but she also helps reinforce his training and shares helpful tips and best practices with us as new puppy parents. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about his well-being and development. One moment that made us incredibly grateful was when our puppy wasn’t feeling well. She went out of her way to pick up pumpkin and broth to help encourage him to eat so I didn’t have to leave him alone. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much to us. She’s always checking in, keeping us updated with thorough reviews, and making sure our pup is happy and healthy. It gives us such peace of mind knowing he’s in such caring and capable hands. We truly couldn’t ask for a better person to look after him. Highly, highly recommend!

Meghan is absolutely amazing. She is like Mary Poppins. Bailey absolutely loved her. She worked with him on basic commands, which was a complete bonus for me. She taught him how to work with puzzles. More than I could even have asked for… This visit was amazing and I will be having Meghan back as soon as I can!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
