About: I've grown up with dogs since I was 8. I have experience taking care of small dogs (poodle mixes) medium dogs (German Shepherds) and big dogs (Goldendoodle, Bernadoodle). About: Having experience with a range of pets allows me to be flexible in my service and help care for many pet needs. Beyond dog and cat care, I can provide any needs to bunnies, hamsters, or other small creatures. Given that, I excel at both dog and cat care and am more happy to accommodate any requests you may have. Since I am on a summer schedule, and have no studies, I am open to any and all times that work for you. I am incredibly flexible and willing to fit pet care into any time of my weekly routine. Personally, I keep all three of my cats indoors to ensure that they are safe, comfortable, and have a warm/cozy environment to play in. About: I am the go to dog sitter for all of my extended family, and I have sat for small to large dogs. And I have mostly sat for houses with multiple dogs. I work early mornings Monday to Friday, so I’m free during the normal working day. And full availability most weekends with advanced notice. And I can sit multiple days in a row. About: Growing up with a rescue, I had the opportunity to look after and train for a dog who had been abused and neglected. Although difficult, I had the privilege of treating him to a long 15 years of being part of a loving and caring family. Since then, I have had a passion for doing the same for many other dogs through foster care. I currently work full-time with a hybrid approach which allows me to work from home on many days of the week. For those days in the office, I am gone for a few hours during the day and work just down the road, allowing me to come back on lunch. Outside of that, I am completely free on weekends. I am always attentive to animals in my household to make sure they are getting what they need. I always as well make sure that the animals are getting adequate time outside and play time throughout the day.

About: For as long as I can remember, I have always loved all pets and animals. Growing up in Italy, my family always loved to have a non-human family member to take care of. My fondest childhood memories were playing with our labrador retriever, Lola, and later adopting another dog named Spenk (named after a popular anime cartoon charater in Italy at the time) in my adolescence. We also had pet chipmunks at one time! I continued living with and taking care of dogs while I lived with host families in Austrailia and New Zealand in my 20s. When I moved to Canada and later met my now-wife, she was a dogsitter through Rover. It was through her that I was able to discover this opportunity and help her with the various responsibilities that came with petsitting. I find taking care of pets in this way to be so rewarding - it boosted my mood, and helped get me moving! Unfortunately, my wife is no longer able to continue being a petsitter due to the committments of her current full-time job. However, since moving to the National Capital Region, we have regularly watched our friends' pets, both at our house and theirs. We both agree, that we really hope to have a pet of our own one day, but for now the best way to fill that void is for me to continue petsitting. I always find it so exciting to have a new "friend" be apart of my day that I can't help but give them my undivided attention. No matter this age, size, or energy level of your pet, I will always stive to give them the exact amount of play, walks, bathroom breaks, treats, and overall attention they may need. We're very lucky to live in a very walk-able neighbourhood near the Gatineau River and Lac Leamy, so regular walks are doable. Pet owners need to have a great deal of trust in their petsitters. Whenever I watch pets, I love to have constant communication with the owner - sending them regular updates and photos throughout the day. Even if their pet is having no problems and seemingly a very happy time, it's still important that the owners know that so they feel more at ease. We thankfully have a very large backyard which would make bathroom breaks very easy, however, at the moment our yard is not fenced, so I would only feel comfortable taking them on bathroom breaks both on-leash and supervised. We're very lucky to live in a very walk-able neighbourhood near the Gatineau River and Lac Leamy, so regular walks are doable. Additionally, we live in a bungalow with a door that closes, so we can block off stairs if that is also a concern for you.

About: I am a very active and responsible young professional woman. I‘ve had, been around and owned dogs all my life and currently have an energetic 2 year old pup (very friendly cockapoo). I have a large backyard where your dog can run around and play in, I also live close to conroy pit where I can take your dog for walks. I am quite flexible and work from home 2 days a week so your dog can have 24/7 attention. I let my puppy sleep with me but when your dog is with me I will do my best to replicate their routine as best as I can, if your dog prefers a crate, dog bed or sleeping with you, that is what I’ll let them do! I am happy to work with your dogs needs to ensure they have a comfortable, safe and healthy stay with me. I work from home so I am quite flexible and usually available at any time to watch and sit your pups! I try and accommodate my clients to the best of my abilities. If your dog needs any extra training or is working in commands I like to ensure they are being kept up with! About: Animals—especially dogs—have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve owned and cared for multiple dogs over the years, including a Maltese Pomeranian mix, and currently a German Shepherd Husky cross and a Lab Aussie Shepherd cross. I am currently enrolled in Pet First Aid & CPR training through St. John Ambulance to ensure I can provide extra care in emergency situations. I also keep animal-specific first aid kits both in my home and in my car for added peace of mind.
