Before each stay in your home, I take the time to learn your dog's habits, favourite words, feeding schedule, medications, exercise routine, and any special needs. I'm comfortable administering oral medications (pills and oral syringes), checking for and safely removing ticks after walks, wiping muddy or snowy paws, towel-drying after rain or swimming, cleaning food and water bowls, and handling the occasional "oopsie" with patience and good humour. I pay close attention to changes in appetite, mobility, energy, or behaviour and will let you know promptly if anything seems unusual. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your trip knowing your companion is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: Hi, i’m a college student and a huge animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with all sorts of animals. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters, and I currently help care for my one year-old dog, my nine-year-old cat and my hamster. I originally started pet sitting because I wanted to do something I genuinely love while earning some extra money on the side. I’ve always enjoyed being around animals, so getting to spend my time caring for them feels much more like something I love doing than just a job. I know that leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful, so I want both you and your pet to feel comfortable and confident while you’re away. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, follow their normal routine and give them plenty of attention, whether that means going for a walk, playing, cuddling or simply keeping them company. I’m starting school soon but I’d still be available for dog walking and drop-in visits throughout the week depending on my class schedule. I’m also available for housesitting and doggy day-care on weekends, holidays and school breaks. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you don’t have to worry how your pet is doing while your away. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions for feeding, walks, medications, routines or anything else your pet may need. I can also speak and understand French quite well, although I’m not perfectly bilingual. I’m currently on summer break, so I have a very flexible schedule and can easily fit pet care into my days. Once school starts, I’ll still be available for dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week around my class schedule. After moving to Canada, I became a cat parent and have now been caring for cats for over eight years.
