“Angela took amazing care of our bunnies while we were on holidays for two weeks. She always kept their space tidy and even went above and beyond to buy them some fresh veggies. We really appreciated the exceptional care she gave our bunnies - highly recommend her services!! Thank you so much Angela!!”

Daytime visits Overnight stays Weekdays, weekends, and statutory holidays Short-term and long-term bookings For stays of 6 nights or longer, I'm happy to travel up to 250 km from Gatineau/Ottawa. Client’s home: I believe pets feel safest when their routines are respected. Before each stay in your home, I take the time to learn your dog's habits, favourite words, feeding schedule, medications, exercise routine, and any special needs. I'm comfortable administering oral medications (pills and oral syringes), checking for and safely removing ticks after walks, wiping muddy or snowy paws, towel-drying after rain or swimming, cleaning food and water bowls, and handling the occasional "oopsie" with patience and good humour. I pay close attention to changes in appetite, mobility, energy, or behaviour and will let you know promptly if anything seems unusual. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your trip knowing your companion is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
“Rebeca was right on time and had a wonderful visit with our Simon. I could tell by the pictures she took that he did great with her. We will be sure to book Rebeca if we need to on our next visit to Ottawa with Simon.”

“My girls love Lydia, she’s a great sitter. She communicates really well and is trustworthy and very reliable. She takes great care of my girls, one who is elderly and has dementia, she is patient and understands how to handle them both. I would definitely recommend her and I would hire her again”

“Jennifer was great and took very good care of Suki! Report cards were thorough and nice to read everyday. Very professional & flexible when my flight was delayed. Thank you for a smooth first experience. I highly recommend Jennifer”

“Voilà déjà quelques visites effectuées par Jayme et notre chaton. Elle est très attentionnée, fiable, toujours de belle humeur, et elle aime jouer avec lui. Notre chaton l'aime beaucoup, et nous aussi! Merci Jayme, nous avons trouvé une belle personne de confiance pour notre félin.”

“Joseph and Maria took excellent care of our cat while we were away. She is an indoor-outdoor cat who doesn’t do well with big changes to her routine so having twice-daily drop ins to feed her and let her in and out was ideal. Joseph sent us lovely updates and pictures and took care of her with the love and affection she is used to. I would trust Joseph and Maria with any pet and will definitely be calling on them again! This was my first time using Rover and am really happy with the experience.”

About: Hi, i’m a college student and a huge animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with all sorts of animals. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters, and I currently help care for my one year-old dog, my nine-year-old cat and my hamster. I originally started pet sitting because I wanted to do something I genuinely love while earning some extra money on the side. I’ve always enjoyed being around animals, so getting to spend my time caring for them feels much more like something I love doing than just a job. I know that leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful, so I want both you and your pet to feel comfortable and confident while you’re away. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, follow their normal routine and give them plenty of attention, whether that means going for a walk, playing, cuddling or simply keeping them company. I’m starting school soon but I’d still be available for dog walking and drop-in visits throughout the week depending on my class schedule. I’m also available for housesitting and doggy day-care on weekends, holidays and school breaks. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you don’t have to worry how your pet is doing while your away. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions for feeding, walks, medications, routines or anything else your pet may need. I can also speak and understand French quite well, although I’m not perfectly bilingual. I’m currently on summer break, so I have a very flexible schedule and can easily fit pet care into my days. Once school starts, I’ll still be available for dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week around my class schedule. I’m also available for housesitting and doggy day-care on weekends, holidays and school breaks. I’m usually able to plan my schedule around each pet’s needs and am happy to work with owners to find times that fit their routine. I prioritize safety, trust, and making pets feel comfortable whether they are in my home or a client’s home. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and supervised environment that helps pets feel secure and relaxed. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions, respect their space, and stick to the pet’s normal routine. I always ensure doors are secure, provide fresh food and water, clean litter boxes regularly, and pay close attention to each pet’s comfort and behaviour.
About: Growing up in China, I had a sweet Bichon Frise, and that’s where my love for animals began. After moving to Canada, I became a cat parent and have now been caring for cats for over eight years. I currently have two cats of my own, both with very different personalities—one is outgoing, affectionate and curious, while the other is more sensitive and needs a little extra time to feel comfortable. Living with them has taught me that every pet has their own personality and way of communicating. Some cats want to be your best friend right away, while others prefer you to sit quietly nearby and let them make the first move. I’m happy to do both! I’m patient, attentive and respectful of each pet’s boundaries, and I’ll never rush them before they feel safe. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone new. I’ll carefully follow their usual routine, keep their food, water and litter area clean, spend time playing or cuddling with them, and send you photos and updates. I also have experience giving oral medication when needed and can follow instructions carefully. I speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese, and I’m happy to communicate in whichever language feels most comfortable for you. Skills 🐾 – patient and gentle with shy or nervous pets – attentive to behaviour and body language – feeding, litter care, playtime and brushing – medication and care instructions – photo and message updates Experience 🐶🐱 – over eight years of caring for cats – currently a cat parent to two lovely boys – grew up caring for a family dog – comfortable with pets of different personalities and energy levels Available on weekdays after 5PM and have full availability on weekends. I’m happy to dedicate my evenings and weekends to providing reliable care, attention, and companionship for your pet, making sure they feel safe and well looked after while you’re away🥰 My home has several separate rooms, so visiting pets can have their own quiet space when needed. I also have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, with plenty of trails nearby for walks and exploring.
About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! Growing up, I was surrounded by animals, which sparked my passion and provided me with invaluable hands-on experience. My family cared for dogs (2), cats (2), rabbits (1), hamsters (3), birds (10+), and fish (10+). I even practiced horseback riding as a child, gaining experience in stable maintenance and saddling horses. Over the years, I’ve worked in various animal focused settings, including shelters, pet shops, and dog boarding centers, accumulating over 8 years of professional experience. In 2021, I founded Passion for Paws, a nonprofit organization dedicated to rehoming dogs through a foster-based system. As the Founder and CEO, I work to provide exceptional care to every dog that comes into our organization, treating them as if they were my own. Families trust me to care for their beloved pets when they can no longer do so, and I help find those pets loving forever homes. I also hold a certification in dog obedience and behavior and have intermediate knowledge of animal healthcare, particularly with dogs and cats. I have hands on experience administering medications, addressing behavioral needs, and providing specialized care for a wide range of animals. Caring for animals is my life’s passion, and I am confident I can provide your furry family member with the love and care they deserve! As the CEO of my own organization, I have the flexibility to create my own schedule and work primarily from home (about 85% of the time). This allows me to easily adapt my routine to accommodate your pet's needs. In addition to this flexibility, I am a highly structured, dedicated, and active individual, ensuring that your pet will receive the attention, care, and lifestyle they deserve. The care I provide for your pet will be tailored to their unique profile and specific needs. I will ensure they receive the appropriate amount of physical and mental stimulation based on their activity levels. My goal is to keep your pet fulfilled, relaxed, and genuinely happy while you are gone.
“We have three senior cats with special needs, and we were very worried to leave them alone for a few days. Jean‑François completely put our mind at ease and truly stole our hearts with the exceptional care he provided. Every day, he sent detailed updates about how our cats were doing, complete with notes about their meals, medications, playtime, litter cleaning, and all the affection he showered them with. I cannot recommend Jean‑François enough to care for your furry family members. Finding someone so trustworthy, attentive, and reliable has been such a gift. Thank you Jean‑François, on behalf of Mitaine, Kyra, and Hubert :)”

“Lauryn was so kind and patient with my anxious and reactive pup. She clearly knows a lot about dogs and was very thoughtful about how she could best care for him, asking about his triggers etc. I’ll definitely book her again!”

“Jude took really good care of our two cats. He was easy to communicate with, respectful and professional. Our place was spotless when we got back and the cats were happy and well cared for. I would recommend Jude to anyone.”

“Katherine was great to agree to meet our dog, Rufus, and spend some time bonding with him in our home on such short notice! Rufus took a shine to her right away and was so calm in her presence! We have an upcoming house sitting booked with Katherine while we’re out of town, and we’re confident Rufus and our home will be in good hands.”

“Sydney was awesome with my cats. They sent very thorough updates and went above and beyond to ensure their care-- my two love to get into trouble together and Sydney was great at letting me know and solving any chaos as it arose. I would trust Sydney with any of my pets any day”

“Samantha did a really outstanding job taking excellent, daily care of my cat while I was away for almost three weeks. She is a fantastic cat-sitter and I couldn't recommend her enough to anyone who wants their cat to be cared for, played with and taken care of. I really appreciated that Samantha arranged for an initial 'meet and greet' with me and my cat before I departed and it really helped to put me at ease for the entire trip. She was very easy and professional to work with and very flexible arranging dates and times for the visits. Samantha really loves and cares about cats and judging by the many photos Samantha provided in her daily reports, my (usually curmudgeonly) cat really seemed to take a shine to Samantha, undoubtably due to the time and attention she provided my cat with every visit. She was always consistent and thorough with the report cards, and always communicated promptly with any additional questions or issues she encountered during my absence. I really felt that my cat was being cared for by a very safe pair of hands! I'm so relieved and glad that I found Samantha as a cat-sitter and she will absolutely be my go-to person for cat-sitting in the future!”

“Kate took care of our cat Ginny over the Thanksgiving weekend. This is the second time we used Rover with Kate. We appreciate that we can go away and know that Ginny will be well fed and happy. Thank you Kate.”

“Kelsey was very easy to work with! She was super communicative through the whole process, and was very easy to coordinate with. She took great care of Kurt, and I knew that my kitty was in good hands. Would definitely recommend her services!”

Billie has taken care of my two cats regularly for two years. He is always my first choice when I'm leaving town or need someone to drop-in on the cats during the day. Billie genuinely loves what he does, and I feel totally comfortable leaving my home and pets in his care. To be honest, I sometimes wonder if my cats like him better than me 🤣 He also fully decluttered, reorganized, and redecorated my kid's room and she loved it. Billie is the best and I highly recommend him as a pet sitter and house sitter!

Keely was so attentive to my cat doing drop-ins this weekend. He has been feeling off and not eating and Keely found ways to encourage him to eat and was so in tune and caring for his needs. She also takes the extra time to take him outside on his leash because she knows how much he loves it. I appreciate how much care she puts into her visits and also sends thorough breakdowns so I know how things are going.
