While I was in school, I fostered dogs for a rescue organisation. As seen in the pictures I have a golden (Moka or momo) and his little sister the cat (Doja). The other dogs in the pictures are foster dogs we loved & welcomed into our home. I live in a cozy home with a large fenced backyard and love incorporating walks, outdoor time, hikes, and relaxing routines into daily life. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine since I have a dog of my own and love staying active outdoors. I enjoy going on walks, spending time outside, and maintaining calm, structured routines at home. My current schedule allows me to bring Moka at the office which only makes me a best fit during the weekend if you are looking for constant care. However, during evenings and weekends, which allows me to give pets lots of attention, playtime, cuddles, and regular potty breaks throughout the day 🐾 I always prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for like they are part of the family. I live in a clean, cozy home with a large backyard and make sure pets are supervised, secure, and given plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. I carefully follow owners’ instructions regarding routines, feeding, medications, and preferences, and I’m happy to provide regular photo updates (I know how it is). About: I live in the Orleans area which means there is so much neighborhood to go for walks and runs! I am available fulltime Monday to Sunday. I have had animals all my life! About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, having cats since I was a kid, constantly being around dogs & finally having my own for the last 6 years, & 15 years of riding and training horses. I’m confident, attentive, and used to picking up on what animals need, when they need it. About: For as long as I can remember, I have always loved all pets and animals. Growing up in Italy, my family always loved to have a non-human family member to take care of. My fondest childhood memories were playing with our labrador retriever, Lola, and later adopting another dog named Spenk (named after a popular anime cartoon charater in Italy at the time) in my adolescence. We also had pet chipmunks at one time! I continued living with and taking care of dogs while I lived with host families in Austrailia and New Zealand in my 20s. When I moved to Canada and later met my now-wife, she was a dogsitter through Rover. It was through her that I was able to discover this opportunity and help her with the various responsibilities that came with petsitting. I find taking care of pets in this way to be so rewarding - it boosted my mood, and helped get me moving! Unfortunately, my wife is no longer able to continue being a petsitter due to the committments of her current full-time job. However, since moving to the National Capital Region, we have regularly watched our friends' pets, both at our house and theirs. We both agree, that we really hope to have a pet of our own one day, but for now the best way to fill that void is for me to continue petsitting. I always find it so exciting to have a new "friend" be apart of my day that I can't help but give them my undivided attention. No matter this age, size, or energy level of your pet, I will always stive to give them the exact amount of play, walks, bathroom breaks, treats, and overall attention they may need. We're very lucky to live in a very walk-able neighbourhood near the Gatineau River and Lac Leamy, so regular walks are doable. Pet owners need to have a great deal of trust in their petsitters. Whenever I watch pets, I love to have constant communication with the owner - sending them regular updates and photos throughout the day. Even if their pet is having no problems and seemingly a very happy time, it's still important that the owners know that so they feel more at ease. We thankfully have a very large backyard which would make bathroom breaks very easy, however, at the moment our yard is not fenced, so I would only feel comfortable taking them on bathroom breaks both on-leash and supervised. We're very lucky to live in a very walk-able neighbourhood near the Gatineau River and Lac Leamy, so regular walks are doable. Additionally, we live in a bungalow with a door that closes, so we can block off stairs if that is also a concern for you.

About: ROVER is my favourite way to enjoy pets and new areas. I work as an education assistant. I work short days on a full time basis. I am able to take weekdays within Ottawa if your pets can be left alone during the day. Weekends, holidays and summers I can go anywhere for my Rover clients. I am currently also in business for myself as a BreathWork & Transformation coach, and have workshops both online and in person. I am certified as a Spiritual coach, Meditation coach, and Manifestation coach. I have both a SSW and Business Management Diploma. I believe in continuous learning. Since I was born, I have always had a pet in my life. The dogs I have loved included a German Shepherd, a Shepherd mix, a Husky mix, a Shih Tzu, a Rottweiler /Boxer mix and a Boxer /French Pin mix. The cats in my life included a Calico mix, a Tiger mix, and a Manx. As my life goals are coming to fruition, I know that this is not the right time for me to personally home, love, and care for an animal of my own. My children are all grown, and I am currently more interested in traveling, whether in my own backyard or halfway around the world, I want to see all that I can!! I LOVE to have new adventures, I am simply here to provide the love I have for my own pets to your precious furry family member while enjoying your city, town or neighbourhood. My home is currently in Ottawa, and as I have been recently hired as an education, assistant, I am able to take Rover clients on weekdays within the Ottawa area, if you are close to Orleans. Most weekdays, I may be at work for 7 hours. On weekends, holidays and summers, I am able to travel further for my Rover clients. Much of my family lives in Cornwall, so I love the opportunity to take clients there. I am also willing to drive to Montreal, Pembroke/Petawawa, Kingston, Toronto or Niagara Falls areas if you need me for 1 week or longer. I am able to take your dogs out for short walks, weather permitting, if they are not pullers. As I don’t drink, smoke cigarettes, or use drugs, that will never be happening in your home. I have great energy that animals can feel. Most timid or shy dogs warm up to me faster than you would except. My reviews showcase the results. I have a clear criminal record as well as a clear vulnerable police record.

About: I cared for three dogs growing up all from the puppy stage. Completely comfortable around pets as I cared for them for about 5 years. About: I always grew up with dogs and cats in my home and have taken a keen interest in making sure that my pets always recieved the care and attention they need to live happy, fulfilling lives. I've walked, fed, and bathed animals of all kinds. I'm currently working full-time however I am an incredibly motivated individual and am generally working after my full time job until sundown as well as on the weekends. I am ideally looking to fill my evenings and weekends with this type of work as I find caring for animals an incredibly fulfilling task. In taking care of my own pet (5 year old black cat) I ensure that feeding times are consistent and that the litter is cleaned each day. I make sure I take time to play with my pet to ensure they are getting proper and regular exercise. In taking care of client's pets I will bring the same care and attention I give my own pet while adhering to any instructions provided.
