About: ROVER is my favourite way to enjoy pets and new areas. I work as an education assistant. I work short days on a full time basis. I am able to take weekdays within Ottawa if your pets can be left alone during the day. Weekends, holidays and summers I can go anywhere for my Rover clients. I am currently also in business for myself as a BreathWork & Transformation coach, and have workshops both online and in person. I am certified as a Spiritual coach, Meditation coach, and Manifestation coach. I have both a SSW and Business Management Diploma. I believe in continuous learning. Since I was born, I have always had a pet in my life. The dogs I have loved included a German Shepherd, a Shepherd mix, a Husky mix, a Shih Tzu, a Rottweiler /Boxer mix and a Boxer /French Pin mix. The cats in my life included a Calico mix, a Tiger mix, and a Manx. As my life goals are coming to fruition, I know that this is not the right time for me to personally home, love, and care for an animal of my own. My children are all grown, and I am currently more interested in traveling, whether in my own backyard or halfway around the world, I want to see all that I can!! I am also willing to drive to Montreal, Pembroke/Petawawa, Kingston, Toronto or Niagara Falls areas if you need me for 1 week or longer. I am able to take your dogs out for short walks, weather permitting, if they are not pullers. As I don’t drink, smoke cigarettes, or use drugs, that will never be happening in your home. I have great energy that animals can feel. Most timid or shy dogs warm up to me faster than you would except. My reviews showcase the results. About: For as long as I can remember, I have always loved all pets and animals. Growing up in Italy, my family always loved to have a non-human family member to take care of. My fondest childhood memories were playing with our labrador retriever, Lola, and later adopting another dog named Spenk (named after a popular anime cartoon charater in Italy at the time) in my adolescence. We also had pet chipmunks at one time! I continued living with and taking care of dogs while I lived with host families in Austrailia and New Zealand in my 20s. When I moved to Canada and later met my now-wife, she was a dogsitter through Rover. It was through her that I was able to discover this opportunity and help her with the various responsibilities that came with petsitting. I find taking care of pets in this way to be so rewarding - it boosted my mood, and helped get me moving! Unfortunately, my wife is no longer able to continue being a petsitter due to the committments of her current full-time job. However, since moving to the National Capital Region, we have regularly watched our friends' pets, both at our house and theirs. We both agree, that we really hope to have a pet of our own one day, but for now the best way to fill that void is for me to continue petsitting. I always find it so exciting to have a new "friend" be apart of my day that I can't help but give them my undivided attention. No matter this age, size, or energy level of your pet, I will always stive to give them the exact amount of play, walks, bathroom breaks, treats, and overall attention they may need. We're very lucky to live in a very walk-able neighbourhood near the Gatineau River and Lac Leamy, so regular walks are doable. Pet owners need to have a great deal of trust in their petsitters. Whenever I watch pets, I love to have constant communication with the owner - sending them regular updates and photos throughout the day. Even if their pet is having no problems and seemingly a very happy time, it's still important that the owners know that so they feel more at ease. We thankfully have a very large backyard which would make bathroom breaks very easy, however, at the moment our yard is not fenced, so I would only feel comfortable taking them on bathroom breaks both on-leash and supervised. We're very lucky to live in a very walk-able neighbourhood near the Gatineau River and Lac Leamy, so regular walks are doable. Additionally, we live in a bungalow with a door that closes, so we can block off stairs if that is also a concern for you.

About: I am a very active and responsible young professional woman. I‘ve had, been around and owned dogs all my life and currently have an energetic 2 year old pup (very friendly cockapoo). I have a large backyard where your dog can run around and play in, I also live close to conroy pit where I can take your dog for walks. I am quite flexible and work from home 2 days a week so your dog can have 24/7 attention. I let my puppy sleep with me but when your dog is with me I will do my best to replicate their routine as best as I can, if your dog prefers a crate, dog bed or sleeping with you, that is what I’ll let them do! I am happy to work with your dogs needs to ensure they have a comfortable, safe and healthy stay with me. I work from home so I am quite flexible and usually available at any time to watch and sit your pups! I try and accommodate my clients to the best of my abilities. If your dog needs any extra training or is working in commands I like to ensure they are being kept up with!
