A typical day
A typical day with the pets I watch starts with a morning walk to get their energy out and enjoy some fresh air. After a healthy breakfast, we might have some playtime with toys or a fun game of fetch in the backyard. Midday, I’ll provide some cuddle time or gentle grooming, depending on their preferences. We can also work on basic training commands while enjoying treats! In the afternoon, I like to take them for another walk or enjoy some interactive play. Evenings are perfect for winding down with some quiet time, snuggles, and perhaps a little training reinforcement. Each pet’s routine is tailored to their needs, ensuring they feel loved and engaged throughout the day!

This was our first experience using Rover. We booked Kate for three 30-minute drop in visits for our cats while we were away on our honeymoon. Kate was responsive during my initial booking request, she never responded to my inquiry about stopping by for a meet and greet after the booking was set up. Kate did come by to give the cats food, water, scoop the litter, and give medicine to our senior cat. What's disheartening is what we saw on our home security system upon returning home. Kate stayed for 10-15 minutes per visit, if even. There was no explanation as to why she was swiftly coming and going without completing the 30-minutes per visit that we had agreed to. She didn't play or socialize with our cats after meal time. I didn't explicitly request this in my instructions as I thought this went without saying. Perhaps she overbooked herself with two many clients on the long weekend, I was surprised by this experience as Kate had such good reviews and I thought we were making a great choice for our cats. She offered her personal number unsolicited for future bookings off the app, but unfortunately I don't feel the trust is there now that we know she was repeatedly leaving early ans misrepresenting her visit times on the Rover card.
Did a fantastic job! Will definitely be a repeat customer.
Kate was great with our cats who are normally shy at first but warmed up to her very quickly. No issues with anything and wouldn't hesitate to book her again
