Your pet’s new best friend!
Ive been a dog and cat lover my whole life! I am a very attentive and careful person, and your pet will always been very safe and entertained while in my care. I am a 3rd UOttawa student living in Sandy hill and back home I have a 17 year old shih tzu named Harley who I love so dearly as well as a 3 year old cat named Fat Bottom and 1 year old cat named Cleo :) I am happy to house sit, come for a quick play time, take your pet for a walk, or house them here.

Kaitlyn is SUCH an angel!! I will be reaching out to her any time I need my little guys watched when i’m out. She is so sweet and amazing with my cats, they just loved her. :) I’d recommend her to anyone. It was my first time leaving my cats with someone, and she made me (and them) feel so safe and she was very communicative. She went above and beyond in their care and I honestly can’t thank her enough!!

Kaitlyn did an excellent job taking care of my Poodle puppy! She was extremely kind and provided me with regular updates, pictures, and videos of my dog. She also made sure my puppy was eating his meals, getting sufficient exercise, and lots of sleep. I felt comfortable knowing my dog was in great hands. Thank you Kaitlyn!

Schedule
I am a UOttawa student although my schedule is very flexible. I have a lot of free time that I would love to fill with helping care for local pets:)

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I treat every pet like my own and stick closely to their usual routine so they feel relaxed and secure. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure, supervise outdoor time, and keep the space very clean and safe. I also pay close attention to their behaviour and will reach out right away if anything seems off. I send regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.
A typical day
A typical day starts with feeding, fresh water, and a potty break or litter cleaning. I stick to their normal routine so they feel comfortable. During the day we’ll have playtime, walks, and lots of attention. At night I make sure they’re fed, settled, and relaxed. I also send updates and photos so you know they’re doing great. Activities depend on the pet. For dogs, I love walks, fetch, tug of war, and fun little training games. For cats, I do interactive play with toys, brushing, and cuddle time if they like that. My goal is to keep them happy, active, and feeling safe while you’re away.
