I work from home 2 days a week and most evening and weekends I am free. I would be happy to walk dogs early in the morning before work, during my lunch hour or pet sit during the evenings or on weekends.

A typical day
I am very active and love to spend time outside. I enjoy running and hiking as well. For dogs, I will be glad to bring them out on walks and to parks to stimulate their curiosity and engage their sense of smell. For cats, I will be sure to show them affection, play with them or simply sit on the couch and watch a movie together!

Pet care experience
Growing up, my family always had animals, dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, hamsters… you name it! Animals have always had a special place in my heart, whether they are my pets or not. I treat every animal with respect, care, patience and lots of love! For over a year now, I have been volunteering at the SPCA in Gatineau which has taught me a lot about canine and feline behaviour and enrichment strategies. For example, looking out for certain behaviours or body language as indicators for stress, fear, anger, etc. My experience has also brought so much joy into my life and I hope I can continue to help out by looking after other people’s pets! 😊 Skills 💪 - patient - attentive - loyal - caring - bilingual Experience 🐶🐱 - dog walking - canine/feline enrichment - puppy training - basic commands (sit, lay, shake/paw, stay) - giving a bath, grooming
