About: Generally, I have grown up surrounded by different animals, including dogs. I used to take our family dog for walks around the block and outside with him a lot. I live with other family who have two medium sized dogs. I talked to them and give them hugs every day and they make me laugh. I work full-time during the week (Monday-Friday), so I am more available on weekends. I am also available Monday and Wednesday mornings before noon which are days that I am able to check in on your fur babies and/or take them for walks, whereas weekends I will be able to spend more time with them. At home, I live with two dogs. They are not my dogs specifically but I will let them outside to let them run around and/or do their business and sometimes I will sit outside with them on the porch and just relax. I am also active in my daily life as I exercise at home and go for long walks everyday down the trail. I like to absorb the nature around me on my walks. It's also a good stress reliever. When I watched over dogs in the past for family members, I would take them for walks, feed them, let them outside, and spend time with them in the house.

I provide pet services in Carleton Place, Almonte, Perth, and everywhere in between! I can assure you that I will provide the safest environment possible for your pets. Dogs will be kept on leash at all times when outside of their home or fenced yard. I have a great deal of experience administering medications, noticing differences in behaviour and health, and am detail oriented. I pay close attention to instructions and will take all safety measures possible to keep everyone safe.

“Jessica is next-level amazing! I almost selfishly didn’t write a review because I don’t want people to book her up but she deserves to be recognized for how exceptional she is. Jessica has an impressive background of working with dogs from working at a vet clinic to being a trainer and more, but the biggest piece for me and my Doods has been her educational background in dog behaviouralism. My AussieDoodle has recently become reactive to everything and everyone and my GoldenDoodle lacks confidence and having Jessica around to care for them allows me to fully relax while away. I’m no longer worried that someone else would not be equipped to handle some of the situations that would arise. She is also a natural talent with emotional intelligence and I could instantly see how aware she was of their emotions with just the slightest changes in their behaviour or body language. You can tell how much she cares for animals whilst being super realistic in their growth process and how that can be intertwined into our day to day lives. She is caring and kind to our Doods, but also knows how to behave around dogs who are outputting bad behaviours so as to not make them worse. One very basic example is not giving attention my Doods when they are barking and jump at her when she enters my house. Jessica watched my Doods in my home and spent some time training them and then shared some things that I could continue to help in my journey to reducing their stressors. She even shared some videos on my return so I could see their behaviours when I left them with her so I could finally understand the level of their separation anxiety and could take action to make it better. About: I'm lucky to have grown up with dogs my entire life! From a big fluffy husky to a friendly and sweet lab to my adorable 6lb Pekingese/Yorkie, I truly love all breeds and sizes. I've been the primary dog sitter for several friends with their cat/dog. I have invested time taking the PetSmart classes but relate most of my knowledge and care of dogs to my childhood where I was responsible for feeding, bathing, playing, and walking our dog twice+ daily I work remote! I am available for runs throughout the morning, day and evening. During warm summer days, runs are reserved for mornings or evenings only. About: Lifetime dog Mom. We have boarded dogs from 1 night to 20 nights so far. We have had Mini and teacup poodles, Dachshunds, Goldens, Labs, Labradoodles, Bichons, Schnauzers and other mixed breeds. We have great relationships with all of our pet families. We are a family of four, my husband and I have been in Richmond for 27 years in the same home. We live in a bungalow with a fenced yard. Many furry guests have enjoyed lazing in the sun in our front window, on our backyard deck and have enjoyed going for long walks in our dog friendly, and walking through the conservation area alongside the Jock River. We have two grown sons - 21 and 25. We all work full time, and there’s always somebody home. We are all animal lovers. I grew up with a shepherd and a lab. Our family has had the love of Ruby, a beagle and the most fun with Freddie, our beloved Bichon-Poodle. We laid Freddie to rest in Sept 2021. Our home is open to doggie silliness and company. I’ve done pet and house sitting for friends and family for years. Our primary interest is in hosting low or non-shedding dogs. Doodles, poodles, schnauzers, dachshunds, GMD, you get the idea. We love small to medium breeds. But check with me because I do love them all and would be willing to try any breed. I like to arrange a meet and greet and have a trial stay before committing to a long term 1-2 week stay. Our family has taken many roads trips and brought our own dogs with us over many years, now we are avid campers/glampers (travel trailer) and, when our customers approve, we have taken some of our furry guests with us. We understand both your concerns and your needs for a worry free time away. We are ready to care for your pet and give you peace of mind while away. Please note that we may take dogs from 2 families at one time during busy seasons and are well set up to manage this. Our home is a relaxed space and we always make sure the furry guests are kept stress free. I work full-time (mostly remotely) - when I have to be in the office I make arrangements with my sons to help out with dog walking and check-ins. My days ebb and flow. I can take the time necessary to get up early with your dog and get them walked, fed and settled before I start my day. I often have breaks during the day and can take them out a couple of times per day as necessary. We also have a fenced yard and a dog door to our large deck and yard. My pet sitting style is to give dogs lots of play, attention, snuggly places to nap and enough love so they don’t miss you too much while you’re away - hoping you and your pet will be comfortable never stressed. I can care for your furry family members in my home or in yours. I know it helps dogs and cats feel less stressed when they can stay home, follow their routines and be in safe and familiar surroundings.
