About: I’ve had tons of different animals growing up. Recently had to euthanize my 15 year old family boarder collie. Also an English bull dog who passed away at two due to breathing issues. I miss having a dog around, however am not ready to adopt my own just yet. Would love to have them over here and there. I Absolutely adore dogs! I currently work from home so I am always here to take care and love your animal! Will walk, feed, cuddle them and if permitted, take them where me and my family go, weather it’s a walk to the park or beach! We will love and care for your pet as our own. We have a backyard for them to pee/poo as well as a pool if they can swim. Will go on walks! I have two children who adore animals who are very gentle so we will all be spending lots of time together. Dog must be kid friendly though.

“This was Jassper’s 3rd stay with Jennifer, and the longest one. We left for one week for a family vacation, and missed our puppy tremendously! Jennifer was very supportive and consistent with leaving us daily reports and photos of Jasper’s days. I especially loved the photos of him hopping and jumping and having fun in their backyard, which shows how relaxed and at home he felt. I love that when Jasper stays with Jennifer, he becomes a part of the family, and is enjoyed by her children and husband as well. Jasper is like an annoying little brother to Shadow, Jennifer’s dog, but the photos of them laying down todether and walking and running together are precious. “Joselyn and Jason were amazing from the moment we meet them. You could tell how confortable our dogs were around them and with their family. Their own dogs are simply adorable and extremely friendly! What a bonus! Our pups felt no fear at all towards them! Joselyn made my fur babies felt like home. She arranged a chair by the window so my almost 13 years old “Summer” would be happy and avoid missing her daily nosy routine lol. While they also let “pixie” just to be Pixie! It was great receiving pictures of our doggies! They always seemed relaxing and happy ! Thank you guys for caring so much; for feeding them their special homemade food and for making sure they received the love and attention they are use to receive at home. I was a bit nervous at the beginning because it was my first time using the app and getting a dog sitter for my baby. About: We're in the process of opening a kennel on our 27 acre homestead, until then, we're here on Rover! Let us give your pets an enriching experience while you're away, and you peace of mind that they are in not one but two sets of good hands. Our dog Styx loves all pets, big and small, but we also have experience and infrastructure for some personal space if your pet takes a little longer to warm up or has special needs. We are currently building a kennel on our wooded retreat, and in the meantime, our home is open! We are home full-time and spend our days outside tending to the property, bringing your pets along, with lots of water and indoor breaks. We have a fenced yard and the house is able to be segmented off depending on the needs (puppy pen, cat area with dogs, cat area dog free, day crated, whatever your comfort is.

I think Bella had a great time with Shelley and family. She was excited to run into their house right away when i arrived to drop her off. She must've remembered the meet and greet and wanted to see her two cat friends and the rest of the family. We had some timing issues on both sides for my pick up time and Shelley was fine keeping Bella a few extra hours which was appreciated and worked out to both our benefits.
Ollie, our 4-year-old Golden, just came home from the best boarding experience he’s ever had — and honestly, we couldn’t be happier. Laura and her husband are genuinely caring, warm people who treated Ollie like one of their own. From the moment we dropped him off, their love for dogs was obvious, and Laura’s positive, cheerful energy put both Ollie and us completely at ease. Ollie had an absolute blast. He got to swim (his favourite thing in the world), play with another Golden and an adorable Golden puppy, and just be his happy, social self. He fit right in from day one. The neighbourhood is lovely, and the whole environment felt safe, welcoming, and full of life. Communication throughout the stay was excellent — we always knew how he was doing, which means everything when you’re away from your fur baby. Ollie came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We’ll absolutely be booking with Laura again. Highly recommend! 🐾
Frida had a great week and loved her new friends. Great first time experience with Rover, and it was all because of the great sitters. We had a nice connect the week prior and knew right away it would be a great fit. Constant updates of all the fun they had while we were away helped reassure she was in great hands. I would highly recommend Megan and know we will definitely be bringing Frida back for a visit!
It’s quite difficult for me and I believe many others, to leave a much loved dog in the care of anyone I do not know very well. Michaela’s calm approach seemed to immediately let my puppy relax and happily go with her. Seeing my Cali relax was definitely reassuring. Michaela also sent me a photo of Cali probably 30 minutes after I left, further convincing me that I had made a good decision in my choice of sitter! All around a very positive experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose Michaela again, to take care of Cali.
