“Nicole and Eddie were wonderful with Daisy. They gave her lots of loving attention, took her on many walks with their dog, Keyser. They also took her to the pet store and had other activities planned for her during her stay. Keyser and Daisy get along well and are a good match for each other. We felt very confident leaving Daisy with Nicole and Eddie while we were on vacation, and loved the photos they sent us showing Daisy was having lots of fun.”

“I had never boarded our 8 year old chocolate lab before so I was nervous to leave him. Kim made us feel comfortable with plenty of pictures and updates throughout the week. They dogs got along great, enjoyed the whole house and she even let him sleep on the bed. I can’t say enough great things about this experience. She noticed his ears were bothering him and took the time to clean them (which he doesn’t normally let anyone do but me). Thank you Kim! ❤️”

“Jessica was amazing with my dog Keisha! She was super friendly, quick to respond, and kept me updated with lots of photos. Keisha went on long walks, had plenty of ball-throwing playtime, and even enjoyed some pool time—it felt like her own little vacation! Jessica truly treated her like family, and I came home to a very happy and relaxed dog. I’ll definitely book with her again—highly recommend!”

“Lynda was amazing with our young nervous cavapoo “Lucy”. Having had a very bad experience at a kennel, we wanted to put her in a home environment. We couldn’t be happier with how she did on her first visit at Lynda’s. Lynda went way above and beyond to make her feel at home. Lynda sent lots of messages and videos which were reassuring to us. We will definitely be taking Lucy back to Lynda’s again.”

“Kirstin and Justin looked after of our girl Frankie and all I can say is wow. They took amazing care of her and provided updates throughout her stay. They answered all questions we had and were proactive in providing a fun and structured atmosphere for her to thrive in. Thanks again. It’s reassuring to know that Frankie has a home away from home.”

“Shelley and family were great and we felt very reassured knowing our little Emma was in good hands. She looked happy in the pictures and videos which we really appreciated getting while we were away.”

About: Hi, I’m Shannon. I provide a calm, clean, and structured home environment where your dog will feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for in a countryside environment. As a healthcare professional and experienced dog sport handler, I naturally pay close attention to detail, routines, and subtle changes in behaviour, ensuring your pet’s well-being is always a top priority. I keep my bookings small so each dog receives personalized care, consistent routines, and meaningful one-on-one attention. My home is best suited for dogs who thrive in a quieter environment, including seniors or those who may feel overwhelmed in busy kennel settings. I also have experience accommodating puppies and high-energy dogs in various stages of training. I work from home, which allows me to provide a consistent, supervised routine where your dog receives plenty of structure, attention, and meaningful interaction throughout the day. My child is very dog savvy and trains dogs as junior handler on our flyball club. I attend dog training classes with my own dogs. When appropriate and with your approval, your dog is welcome to join for a safe and enriching outing, including a secured car ride and a supervised “sniff safari” or work recalls at the training facility. During the summer months, I also participate in dog sport tournaments, which may involve travel and on-site camping 4–6 hours away. For clients who are comfortable, dogs are welcome to join these structured adventure experiences. Participation is always optional and discussed in advance to ensure it’s the right fit for your dog. I offer a dedicated dog space equipped with crates, comfortable bedding, fresh water, and access to a secure dog run, along with a large, fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time. We also have the executive suite, which is a play pen for boarding dogs and especially for puppies and seniors. I have extensive experience with senior dogs and those with special needs, including administering medications, supplements, dietary needs kibble and raw feeding, caring for deaf or blind animals. With over 12 years in competitive dog sports, I am also skilled in handling puppies, high-energy dogs, reactivity (such as barking or anxiety), and resource guarding. Please note: while I am experienced with behavioural challenges, I do not accept dogs with a history of aggression or biting. This is to ensure the safety of all dogs in my care, as well as my young child at home. For safety, all boarding dogs must be crate trained and comfortable with overnight crating. This helps maintain a calm and structured environment. During the day, dogs are welcome on furniture and can enjoy a relaxed, home-like setting. You can expect regular updates, photos and videos, a clean and safe space, and the peace of mind that your dog is being cared for like family.
“As a repeat client, I can’t recommend Hui enough! She took Bruiser on beautiful walks, sent many sweet videos and updates, and overall provides a safe and loving environment.”

“Joselyn and Jason were amazing from the moment we meet them. You could tell how confortable our dogs were around them and with their family. Their own dogs are simply adorable and extremely friendly! What a bonus! Our pups felt no fear at all towards them! Joselyn made my fur babies felt like home. She arranged a chair by the window so my almost 13 years old “Summer” would be happy and avoid missing her daily nosy routine lol. While they also let “pixie” just to be Pixie! It was great receiving pictures of our doggies! They always seemed relaxing and happy ! Thank you guys for caring so much; for feeding them their special homemade food and for making sure they received the love and attention they are use to receive at home. We are very appreciative and grateful 🐶🐶 Thanks!!!”

“Cristina was amazing and put me at ease leave my boys with her while I was gone for the holidays. They seemed to have a good time with her. I would definitely book again with her!”

“Rex has an amazing weekend with Jacquline and Jamie. He’s a timid big dog but she took her time to explain their day with us and show us around their house and go over their routine. Sent many pics and Videos. Rex came home exhausted!”

“Daniel and Sarah were great with our dogs. This was the first stay and we felt very comfortable leaving Paf and Malina for an overnight stay. We received several photos and the next day when I went to pickup dogs they were calm and and well taken care of. We will be back for sure!”

“Gus just had his second stay with Lei and the bond they have is beautiful. It is obvious that they understand each other and have a connection. Gus is very happy and feels safe when in her care. We are so lucky to have found someone who loves our Gus as much as we do.”

“Bailey loves spending time at her home away from home. She is treated like one of the family and her whole body wags when we arrive in front of Kim’s house. Bailey would definitely post a 5 star score.”

“Laura is the best. I left my reactive German Shepherd with her for two weeks, unsure if i might get a call to pick her up early. Laura eased my mind with pictures and daily updates. Stress on my end was relieved and I would highly recommend Laura for your boarding needs.”

“We were so happy to have found Xiaopei on Rover! They took care of our medium goldendoodle so well and sent updates and photos every day. Charli and their dog Oreo got along super well and I think Charli had just as much fun on her 'vacation' as we did on ours! Highly recommend!”

“We can’t thank the Kristen and Shady enough for the amazing care they provided Ollie during our trip! They welcomed him into their home with such warmth and kindness, treating him like one of their own. When we picked him up, Ollie looked so happy and pleasantly tired, a clear sign he had a fantastic time filled with play and affection. Their attentiveness and love for animals gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We’re so grateful for their generosity and would highly recommend them to anyone needing a trustworthy, caring pet sitter. Thank you for making Ollie’s stay so special!”

“Ruby and Gordon looked after our 12 year old Labradoodle for 10 days. Zoey had a wonderful time with lots of walks, treats, and snuggles. She didn't even want to come home. Ruby and Gordon kept us up to date with notes and picture that were really appreciated. Zoey is looking forward to her next vacations with them which are already booked.”

Kim provided great care for my GSD. She requested a dog meet prior to the booking which favoured peace of mind while away. She sent pictures and communicated throughout and it was evident that my dog and Astro had a great time. I would definitely recommend Kim to anyone.

Frida had a great week and loved her new friends. Great first time experience with Rover, and it was all because of the great sitters. We had a nice connect the week prior and knew right away it would be a great fit. Constant updates of all the fun they had while we were away helped reassure she was in great hands. I would highly recommend Megan and know we will definitely be bringing Frida back for a visit!

It’s quite difficult for me and I believe many others, to leave a much loved dog in the care of anyone I do not know very well. Michaela’s calm approach seemed to immediately let my puppy relax and happily go with her. Seeing my Cali relax was definitely reassuring. Michaela also sent me a photo of Cali probably 30 minutes after I left, further convincing me that I had made a good decision in my choice of sitter! All around a very positive experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose Michaela again, to take care of Cali.

Leaving our beloved basset hound behind while we went away is never easy, but having Laura look after her turned what could have been a stressful situation into complete peace of mind. From the start, Laura was incredibly conscientious and attentive, sending regular updates and photos that reassured us our dog was not only safe, but genuinely happy. What really stood out was the level of care and effort Laura put into each day. She made sure our dog got plenty of exercise, fresh air, and opportunities to socialize. Our basset hound can be a bit stubborn at times, but Laura clearly understands dogs and took the time to engage with her patiently and thoughtfully. It honestly felt less like simple dog sitting and more like sending our dog to a figurative “dog spa,” where she was pampered with attention, activity, and affection. Coming home to a relaxed, content, and well-exercised dog said it all. Laura treated our dog like family, and that level of care is priceless when you’re away. We would absolutely use Laura again without hesitation and recommend her without reservation to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely caring dog minder.

Jessica was amazing with my dog Keisha! I’ll definitely book with her again—highly recommend!
