“Kimberley was excellent. Our Lily has never been good with kennels, so our last option was to seek someone to look after her in their home. Kimberley was so patient and easy going. It takes Lily a bit to calm down when in new surroundings. Kimberley kept us up to date on how she was doing, which gave us peace of mind. We will definitely be looking to rebook with her! About: I’ve owned and cared for many different animals over the years. I am a dog trainer and used to do off-leash pack walks daily. As a teenager I volunteered at the OSPCA as a walker and have lots of experience with reactive dogs and cats. I reinforce positive behaviours you have already introduced and work on any training behaviours you are currently trying to impose. I look after dogs full time so I have lots of time to spend with your dog, walking them on my 5 acre private property, and cuddling them in my 2 storey home. If they get along with other dogs, there is lots of supervised social time I have a cat at home but he doesn’t like to interact with dogs so we keep him separated. I live in a two storey house with a large yard. I collect any mail or parcels outside your home and am always sure to lock up both dog and house unless instructed otherwise! I have lots of experience with reactive dogs and cats and am a dog trainer as well.

About: I’ve had tons of different animals growing up. Recently had to euthanize my 15 year old family boarder collie. Also an English bull dog who passed away at two due to breathing issues. I miss having a dog around, however am not ready to adopt my own just yet. Would love to have them over here and there. I Absolutely adore dogs! I currently work from home so I am always here to take care and love your animal! Will walk, feed, cuddle them and if permitted, take them where me and my family go, weather it’s a walk to the park or beach! We will love and care for your pet as our own. We have a backyard for them to pee/poo as well as a pool if they can swim. Will go on walks! I have two children who adore animals who are very gentle so we will all be spending lots of time together. Dog must be kid friendly though.

“We tried Sarah overnight before our big trip in feb. We have 2 dogs. Not only she took great care of them but she kept us updated with pictures of them cuddling with her dogs and both slept through the night and ate their food which they NEVER do normally. She’s amazing and super friendly and completely removed all the anxiety I felt about leaving my rescues for 7 days She also fosters dogs for a rescue which just shows you the type of person she is and her love for dogs Thanks Sarah see you in a few weeks”

About: I've had dogs for the last 20 years, usually with four in the house at a time. We've had a Shih-tzu, three Jack-Shih-tzus, a Great Pyrenees, and now a solo Maltie-Poo named Dozer. Every dog I meet is a new friend, and I have to admit that I knew the names of all the dogs in my last neighborhood, and like maybe three of the owners names. Happy to walk active dogs that need long walks. For doggy day care and boarding we have to restrict it to small dogs because our own small dog is picky about which larger dogs he likes. Other animals: I've also taken care of farm animals. Dairy cows and calves, and feeding chickens and putting them in for the night. I've kept both freshwater and marine tanks and can check up on your fish or your reef while you're away. No worrying about your niece or nephew dumping a whole container of bug bites into the tank while you're gone and causing an ammonia spike. I've also kept constrictors and colubrids (but not currently), crested geckos, and dart frogs, and am familiar with the husbandry of each. I have a flexible schedule and am in between writing contracts at the moment so have lots of time available for scheduling check-ins and walks for local puppers. I can check-on and feed pets as needed, dispense necessary meds, walk them from your home, or load them in the car and take them to the Cataraqui Trail for longer walks / more active dogs.
