About: I'm a lifelong dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments—from tiny Boston Terriers to gentle giants like Great Danes. I've helped raise puppies, cared for senior dogs, and supported rescue pups as they transition into their new homes. I’m comfortable managing multi-dog households, having looked after up to five dogs at once, including providing post-operative care and administering medications when needed. Currently, I share my home with two amazing dogs of my own—Hank, a Dogo Argentino, and Harley, a Cane Corso—who bring so much joy and love into my life. I treat every dog I care for like family and always aim to provide a safe, calm, and loving environment while their humans are away. I currently work part-time as a Registered Massage Therapist and have the flexibility to set my own schedule, which allows me to be available when you and your pup need me most. I'm fully available Friday through Monday, and with a little notice, I can often accommodate Tuesdays through Thursdays as well. This flexibility means I can provide consistent care and attention, whether it’s for a quick drop-in or extended stays. I’m lucky to have 33 beautiful acres for my pups to explore, so they get plenty of space to roam and enjoy the outdoors. But we never go it alone—I'm always right there with them, whether we're hiking through the woods, wandering the trails, or playing with their favorite toys. When we're inside, you'd never guess how adventurous they are—because they instantly transform into the biggest lap dogs! They love nothing more than curling up for cuddles, getting cozy in bed, and enjoying their favorite treat: relaxing coconut oil massages.

Jenna was our first successful foray into having someone come in house to walk, play with, and give our three dogs their mid-day break. They were so happy when we arrived home, and it was seamless and stress free working with her.

Merci Alys-Mia!

Currently only able to accept permanent part-time or full-time clients Monday-Friday in Perth and Lanark area in late afternoon. Thank you for checking out my profile! My name is Josee and a HUGE animal lover. I’ve been exposed to dogs, cats and other animals my whole life. I love to walk and hike with my own dog, as well as train and provide enrichment activities. Whether it’s a daily walk, a quick drop-in, if you have a puppy or senior senior dog, you can count on me to ensure that your pet is happy, safe, and comfortable. I thrive on giving pets what they need—from walks to enrichment, snuggles, training, or just being a companion while you’re away. I am a confident handler and very respectful to each dogs wants and needs based on behavior, body language, and breed. I am confident in handling your nervous, difficult, or anxious dog if this is a concern. As a reactive dog owner, I understand it can be difficult or frustrating taking them out or ensuring that they’ve had enough mental stimulation and exercise during the day. I also have my certificate in canine nutrition (Cert.CN) - helping dogs live their best and healthiest lives through diet, exercise and stress-free living. I’m highly respectful of your dogs’ individual needs, if they have a routine to follow and I will do whatever is needed to ensure that you feel comfortable with leaving your furry friend in my care—I will treat your pet as my own. Prior to scheduling, I like to do a face-to-face meeting before beginning my services. I am available days, early evenings and the occasional weekend for clients who are scheduling regularly. When caring for your loved one(s), I will begin by assessing your dogs’ behavior and comfort level upon each visit. I am highly respectful of house rules and routines and will always advocate for your pet. **PRICING & SCHEDULING** Please contact me for pricing and service schedules as prices listed on Rover are not firm. About: Hi there! I’m Amanda — a lifelong animal lover and physiotherapist who also completed the Canine Rehabilitation program. I grew up at the stable, surrounded by animals my entire life, so caring for dogs and cats has always come naturally to me. I got my first dog for my ninth birthday and have since cared for pets from puppies to senior dogs well into their golden years. I currently share my home with two wonderful dogs, including one rescue pup I personally rehabilitated through patience, structure, and love. As a physiotherapist and certified canine rehab specialist, I have a strong understanding of mobility, comfort, and safe handling—especially for dogs recovering from injury, dealing with arthritis, or needing a bit of extra care. Whether it’s a playful pup, a gentle senior, or a pet who needs a little confidence and TLC, I treat every animal as if they were my own. You can count on me to provide warm, knowledgeable, and reliable care so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m available for pet care during the day, evenings, and weekends. Since I’m home most of the time, your pets will get plenty of attention, love, and companionship throughout the day — just like they would with family. When caring for others’ pets, I always take the time to listen to their owners and follow each animal’s usual routine. I believe consistency and respect are key to helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for — just like they would at home.

About: I have owned and cared for dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets my whole life. I enjoy the physical aspect of having furry friends around as well as the companionship! There is nothing I do not enjoy about caring for and spending time with animals! I have experience with a variety of animals and breeds of various ages and stages of their life. I am extremely capable of administering medications, treatments or any other plan you may have your pup on. In terms of activity, I will gear this towards what I know about your dog and what you prefer they do! Should this be walks, runs or play time outdoors, I am willing to meet your needs. We are an active household would love nothing more than to spend time outdoors with your pup! *Please note, for larger older dogs, that I live in a 3 story townhome. Should your pup be too big to carry and incapable of doing several sets of steps, this may not be the home for you :) As I prepare to study for my legal Licensing exams, I will be home all for the next six months to give your pup all the love and attention they deserve! Should there be an occasion where I must go out, my partner may stay home from work to accommodate! Despite my need to study, I love being active and so does my partner! Should your dog require extra walks or exercise, we would love to have them join us ! At minimum, we will include your furry friend on 3 large walks a day. Please continue reading for a description of our daily schedule: Morning: My partner and myself both wake up by about 7am. My partner typically leaves early, while I will be home to study and care for your furry friends. In the morning I will grab coffee and go for a walk of about 30 minutes before 8am, letting your pup out to pee as needed beforehand. Afternoon: In the afternoon, I often aim to go for about 1 hour of a walk minimum. I will go through the forest or alongside our neighborhood which is a quiet and less populated area of Ottawa. In doing so, there is plenty of room and opportunity to roam around should your pup enjoy such activities. Evening: Before dinner, I often like to walk for about 20 minutes prior to giving dinner. After we have all eaten, myself and my partner typically walk for about 45 minutes to one hour. In the evening, we enjoy down time at home, often reading or watching TV. Your furry friend will hang out with us! Before bed, there will be opportunity for one last walk or at least a pee! ** Note that walks and breaks will be given generously throughout the day. There will never be more than a 1-2 hour period without an outdoor break. Myself and my partner are both young professionals. My partner works as an IT consultant in a hybrid model while I work and study from home! We reside in a three story townhome, with ample room for your pup to run free and explore. There is nowhere in our home that is off limits to animals. We do not have a closed in backyard, but rather have our pee breaks in front of the home which faces a large forest and field. When I care for others pets, I typically set alarms for a walk or pee every 45 minutes to 1 hours. This ensures a check in or small pee break will never be forgotten in case of animals not knowing where to alert to go outside. With this in mind, I often take large and longer walks in between pee breaks in order to better break up the day. Please see the Schedule section to see a predicted daily schedule. Despite this, we are active individuals who love to walk and explore, ensuring your pup will have lots of opportunities to pee and explore as they wish 🐶. Please note, we have plenty of room for a crate should your dog require, but we do not posses one at the moment!

About: ROVER is my favourite way to enjoy pets and new areas. I work as an education assistant. I work short days on a full time basis. I am able to take weekdays within Ottawa if your pets can be left alone during the day. Weekends, holidays and summers I can go anywhere for my Rover clients. I am currently also in business for myself as a BreathWork & Transformation coach, and have workshops both online and in person. I am certified as a Spiritual coach, Meditation coach, and Manifestation coach. I have both a SSW and Business Management Diploma. I believe in continuous learning. Since I was born, I have always had a pet in my life. The dogs I have loved included a German Shepherd, a Shepherd mix, a Husky mix, a Shih Tzu, a Rottweiler /Boxer mix and a Boxer /French Pin mix. The cats in my life included a Calico mix, a Tiger mix, and a Manx. As my life goals are coming to fruition, I know that this is not the right time for me to personally home, love, and care for an animal of my own. My children are all grown, and I am currently more interested in traveling, whether in my own backyard or halfway around the world, I want to see all that I can!! I LOVE to have new adventures, I am simply here to provide the love I have for my own pets to your precious furry family member while enjoying your city, town or neighbourhood. My home is currently in Ottawa, and as I have been recently hired as an education, assistant, I am able to take Rover clients on weekdays within the Ottawa area, if you are close to Orleans. Most weekdays, I may be at work for 7 hours. On weekends, holidays and summers, I am able to travel further for my Rover clients. Much of my family lives in Cornwall, so I love the opportunity to take clients there. I am also willing to drive to Montreal, Pembroke/Petawawa, Kingston, Toronto or Niagara Falls areas if you need me for 1 week or longer. I am able to take your dogs out for short walks, weather permitting, if they are not pullers. As I don’t drink, smoke cigarettes, or use drugs, that will never be happening in your home. I have great energy that animals can feel. Most timid or shy dogs warm up to me faster than you would except. My reviews showcase the results. I have a clear criminal record as well as a clear vulnerable police record.

About: Hello, my name is Shanna. I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I have been asked by many friends and family over the years to pet sit for them while they are away and have always enjoyed it. I would treat your pet as my own and have a total appreciation for how you would expect your babies to be loved and cared for during the the times you can't. I understand the importance of trusting someone to care for your "kids". I currently work 9-4 during week days, with weekends off. I do morning and evening walks during work days. If your dog is used to work hours, I would be with them morning, night and weekends. I currently have one other dog in my home. If your dog is comfortable with other animals and having me take your dog as opposed to house sit at your place, I have a fenced in yard perfect for it.
