I work part-time in Carleton Place, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, or last-minute bookings. I have a dog-friendly vehicle and would be happy to take your pup on little adventures with your permission! This could include a trip to the Starbucks drive-thru for a Puppuccino, a visit to a local park, or a doggy playdate if your dog enjoys socializing. Every outing is tailored to your dog’s personality and comfort level. Adventure add-ons are available for an additional charge.

When I am not studying full time at Algonquin college, I work part time at a pet valu which had provided me with fundamental knowledge and skills that will help me keep your pet safe, happy and healthy. I take pride in helping others. I have had a family dog for most of my childhood which had allowed me to get to know the right and wrongs of training a dog. I’m available Monday through Friday, both morning and evening. I’m committed to providing the best care for your pet, even with my other commitments, depending on your requested date and time. I have a fenced in backyard and one friendly golden retriever to keep your pet company while you are away. I have a large backyard, and a close by park and trail for exercise. I am a licensed and safe G class driver with my own vehicle so I am available to travel to pick up your dog from your house for a small extra fee depending on your location.

About: I have always had a dog in my world. Being outside with them, and going on nature walks is the best; along with all the smiles and comfort they bring! No matter the distance, time spent outdoors with a pup always brings so much joy. At this time Thursday-Saturday evenings are best for over-nights. Weekends are also a time when I am free. If there were to be additional needed time given, I could potentially be available. I am also available for drop-ins and walks weekdays after 3:00 p.m. I would make sure that they have time to play around outside and then have a nap inside :) more outside time afterwards of course! I would play with them inside and give treats and meals as indicated from owner. With having two labs I understand dietary needs and can aid to those needs as-well.

About: Need me to sing to your dog or cat in order to eat or sleep? No problem! I’ve got you covered and my vocal cords warmed up. I’ve been lucky enough to be trusted to care for pets of family and friends over the course of my life whether it be stopping in for potty breaks, walks, engagement time, or while their paw-rents go on vacation. I feel honoured each time I’m asked; I get as much enjoyment out of it as the pets do! My partner and I share responsibility for our cats as my partner works remotely and I work full time as a nurse. On my off days I spend time cuddling with the kitties or walking/caring for my in-laws pup, Daisy. Currently I am unable to board animals due to limited space, but I’m more than happy to adjust to the needs of your pet in your home. I’m comfortable with crates, cleaning litter boxes, changing pee pads, bathing and grooming, and am open to learn the routines of your pets.

About: I have had dogs for many years. Now that I am retired I am looking to giving back and helping other pet owners. I know that time is limited and sometimes you just need some help. Given my years of experience and my love of dogs, helping dog owners seemed the natural fit. It is a win/win....you get some much needed help and I get to enjoy being with your canine friend! I walk everyday as part of my active lifestyle and love to meet and greet dogs along the way. Seems like the perfect fit to invite your dog along for a scenic walk around the area. I love a brisk walk for my own health benefits and I know from past experience that my dogs always benefited from the same. Whether it was a better sleep or better appetite or being better behaved and ultimately more healthy, a good walk was the answer. I know from being busy in the past, I wasn't always able to get out regularly with my furry friends. If that is you, then that is where I come in to help and keep those walks regular.

About: I have had a dog since I was 7 years old, he recently passed away and I would like to continue to take care of dogs as much as I can to anyone who needs it. About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been caring for them since I was 12 years old. Growing up, I often looked after my neighbours’ cats, dogs, and rabbits while they were away - something i relished, as I wasn't allowed my own pet in the house (excluding fish, which i had many- i took what i could get!). Since moving out I have adopted several cats of my own and have continued to pet sit for friends regularly (both cats and dogs). Most recently, I have cared, on multiple occasions, for three elderly and sick cats. I recently moved from Vancouver Island back to my home city of Ottawa and am currently unencumbered by a full-time job. I am available 24/7 for attentive pet care, ranging from walks, feeding and check-ins, to multiple night stays.
