About: I am a hard working, dedicated, and caring individual who comes from a law enforcement family which has made me develop skills of being aware of my surroundings and ways of keeping both myself and others safe. When I am not studying full time at Algonquin college, I work part time at a pet valu which had provided me with fundamental knowledge and skills that will help me keep your pet safe, happy and healthy. I take pride in helping others. I have had a family dog for most of my childhood which had allowed me to get to know the right and wrongs of training a dog. I’m available Monday through Friday, both morning and evening. I’m committed to providing the best care for your pet, even with my other commitments, depending on your requested date and time. I have a fenced in backyard and one friendly golden retriever to keep your pet company while you are away. I have a large backyard, and a close by park and trail for exercise. I am a licensed and safe G class driver with my own vehicle so I am available to travel to pick up your dog from your house for a small extra fee depending on your location.

About: My name is Tamara and I would love the pleasure to look after your dog when you're in need! I've had my own small dog for 14 years now, as well as a 1 year old large dog, and a kitten; so I know all of the love and work that goes into taking care of our little friends. I also have experience caring for farm animals (goats, sheep, and chickens)! My house is within walking distance of a vet and pet supplies, as well as right next to a long trail that is behind my backyard that your dog is sure to love! Since I have a dog myself, your friend will be doing everything with mine, so even if I'm away for an hour or so, they won't ever be by themselves! I'm able to follow any routine that you need and I'll make sure that you're furry friend feels as at home as possible. I work full time as a teacher (8-3), so I'm home pretty early every day. My pets are home while I'm gone, so your furry friend will never be alone. I leave puzzles and enrichment toys for them while I'm gone, and I even have a pet camera so that I can check in on them too. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me! I have a pet camera that you can tune into as well (while I'm gone), if that's something you'd be interested in. About: Generally, I have grown up surrounded by different animals, including dogs. I used to take our family dog for walks around the block and outside with him a lot. I live with other family who have two medium sized dogs. I talked to them and give them hugs every day and they make me laugh. During the week, my availability varies with more availability on weekends where I am able to dedicate more time to spend with your fur babies. At home, I live with two dogs. They are not my dogs specifically but I will let them outside to let them run around and/or do their business and sometimes I will sit outside with them on the porch and just relax. I am also active in my daily life as I exercise at home and go for long walks everyday down the trail. I like to absorb the nature around me on my walks. It's also a good stress reliever. When I watched over dogs in the past for family members, I would take them for walks, feed them, let them outside, and spend time with them in the house.

About: About Kaitlyn I always had dogs growing up. I was employed at a dog daycare & boarding facility for 3 years and love being around dogs and creating a safe space for them to grow and learn! I am currently working full time throughout the months of April-November. During lay off season with work I do have a part time job during the week but willing do walk after work. 5:30 pm-7:00pm :) I am a firm believer in real emotional connection with dogs, just like people. Affection and creative play are my favourite activities, and on walks l aspire to create a comfortable environment to exercise and do their business. I'm not a professional dog trainer, but know the basic knowledge and skills for a nice, easy, and enjoyable walk!

About: I’m an undergraduate student working toward becoming a veterinarian and have been caring for animals my whole life. I have experience with cats, dogs, hamsters, and fish, and I’m comfortable with pets of all temperaments. I’ve provided advanced care for cats and dogs, including tube feeding, wound care, and grooming sensitive areas. I’ve also worked in a veterinary clinic assisting with common procedures. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals—whether that’s playing, grooming, or just giving them lots of affection. I’m always looking to learn more about dog and cat care, so I bring both experience and a willingness to grow. I am willing to go above and beyond to care for your dog! I currently work late nights at a bar on the weekends and keep busy with my own pets during the weekdays. In my home, I regularly groom my cats and dog and give my senior dog extra care for her sensitive skin and allergies. I’m attentive to each pet’s specific needs and make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. In both my home and a client’s home, I keep things calm and safe and follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. About: I have had a dog since I was 7 years old, he recently passed away and I would like to continue to take care of dogs as much as I can to anyone who needs it. I cared for him a lot during old age, so I have experience in giving medication, care, attention, etc I just finished a contract job, so I am currently at home everyday, which leaves me very free and flexible to give all of my attention to your pet. Have lots of space in the house, fenced yard for play time, parks near by for walking or bathroom breaks! I live with my parents so there will be people around at all times. About: I have owned and cared for dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets my whole life. I enjoy the physical aspect of having furry friends around as well as the companionship! There is nothing I do not enjoy about caring for and spending time with animals! I have experience with a variety of animals and breeds of various ages and stages of their life. I am extremely capable of administering medications, treatments or any other plan you may have your pup on. In terms of activity, I will gear this towards what I know about your dog and what you prefer they do! Should this be walks, runs or play time outdoors, I am willing to meet your needs. We are an active household would love nothing more than to spend time outdoors with your pup! *Please note, for larger older dogs, that I live in a 3 story townhome. Should your pup be too big to carry and incapable of doing several sets of steps, this may not be the home for you :) As I prepare to study for my legal Licensing exams, I will be home all for the next six months to give your pup all the love and attention they deserve! Should there be an occasion where I must go out, my partner may stay home from work to accommodate! Despite my need to study, I love being active and so does my partner! Should your dog require extra walks or exercise, we would love to have them join us ! At minimum, we will include your furry friend on 3 large walks a day. Please continue reading for a description of our daily schedule: Morning: My partner and myself both wake up by about 7am. My partner typically leaves early, while I will be home to study and care for your furry friends. In the morning I will grab coffee and go for a walk of about 30 minutes before 8am, letting your pup out to pee as needed beforehand. Afternoon: In the afternoon, I often aim to go for about 1 hour of a walk minimum. I will go through the forest or alongside our neighborhood which is a quiet and less populated area of Ottawa. In doing so, there is plenty of room and opportunity to roam around should your pup enjoy such activities. Evening: Before dinner, I often like to walk for about 20 minutes prior to giving dinner. After we have all eaten, myself and my partner typically walk for about 45 minutes to one hour. In the evening, we enjoy down time at home, often reading or watching TV. Your furry friend will hang out with us! Before bed, there will be opportunity for one last walk or at least a pee! ** Note that walks and breaks will be given generously throughout the day. There will never be more than a 1-2 hour period without an outdoor break. Myself and my partner are both young professionals. My partner works as an IT consultant in a hybrid model while I work and study from home! We reside in a three story townhome, with ample room for your pup to run free and explore. There is nowhere in our home that is off limits to animals. We do not have a closed in backyard, but rather have our pee breaks in front of the home which faces a large forest and field. When I care for others pets, I typically set alarms for a walk or pee every 45 minutes to 1 hours. This ensures a check in or small pee break will never be forgotten in case of animals not knowing where to alert to go outside. With this in mind, I often take large and longer walks in between pee breaks in order to better break up the day. Please see the Schedule section to see a predicted daily schedule. Despite this, we are active individuals who love to walk and explore, ensuring your pup will have lots of opportunities to pee and explore as they wish 🐶. Please note, we have plenty of room for a crate should your dog require, but we do not posses one at the moment!
