When I am not studying full time at Algonquin college, I work part time at a pet valu which had provided me with fundamental knowledge and skills that will help me keep your pet safe, happy and healthy. I take pride in helping others. I have had a family dog for most of my childhood which had allowed me to get to know the right and wrongs of training a dog. I have a fenced in backyard and one friendly golden retriever to keep your pet company while you are away. I have a large backyard, and a close by park and trail for exercise. About: Need me to sing to your dog or cat in order to eat or sleep? No problem! I’ve got you covered and my vocal cords warmed up. I’ve been lucky enough to be trusted to care for pets of family and friends over the course of my life whether it be stopping in for potty breaks, walks, engagement time, or while their paw-rents go on vacation. I feel honoured each time I’m asked; I get as much enjoyment out of it as the pets do! My partner and I share responsibility for our cats as my partner works remotely and I work full time as a nurse. On my off days I spend time cuddling with the kitties or walking/caring for my in-laws pup, Daisy. Currently I am unable to board animals due to limited space, but I’m more than happy to adjust to the needs of your pet in your home. I’m comfortable with crates, cleaning litter boxes, changing pee pads, bathing and grooming, and am open to learn the routines of your pets.

About: Long before petsitting became a commoditized business, Debbie Ozarko was on the Ottawa scene bringing joy to the lives of dogs and their people with her dog walking service, "We Take the Dogs Out" in 2000. This eventually morphed into, "It’s a Ruff Life Doggie Daycare" which thrived until her move to the British Columbia coast in 2013. Her love for such beautiful intimacy with animals has only deepened over time, and with her return to the Ottawa area she is eager to offer her exceptional services once again. Debbie is also a long-time volunteer with the Rideau Valley Wildlife Sanctuary and the IFAW Northern Dogs Project. Animals truly are her life. I have access to several quiet areas where field, forest and streams abound for off-leash romps. If dogs are better with on-leash walks, I'm happy to take them to green spaces where they have access to lots of sniffing to satiate that deep primal canine need. About: I've been around animals from a very young age. I've always loved spending time with them and taking care of them. People who know me have said that my calm nature attracts all the animals. I've done pet sitting for free for all my friends and families just for the love of it. About: Your pet will enjoy 3 walks a day and open access to our 10 acre hobby farm just on the outskirts of kemptville (just a few minutes from the 416 for easy drop off and pick up ). Most Saturdays guests will Also enjoy a walk on the historic town of merreckville. About: I am the go to dog sitter for all of my extended family, and I have sat for small to large dogs. And I have mostly sat for houses with multiple dogs. I work early mornings Monday to Friday, so I’m free during the normal working day. And full availability most weekends with advanced notice. And I can sit multiple days in a row. I can follow whatever routine you have with your pet. I can follow complex instructions, detailed feeding schedules and I have care for an elderly dog that required diabetes shots daily.

About: I’ve been watching dogs for 7 years now. I love all types of dogs. But the first dog I ever got close to was a pitbull. He was the first over night dog sit/house sit. I ever did, the couple would travel often due to work. So I would dog sit about 2/3 times a week. I did that for about two years and gained a lot of experience with dogs due to that job. I also find dog walking a great way to stay healthy and active with out it feeling like a work out. I’ve enjoyed dogging sitting ever since I started and don’t plan to stop. There is a courtyard in my building that is dog friendly and three dog parks near my building as well. So they will always have room to run and be themselves. I have a nice courtyard in my building that’s pet friendly and they can play and I also have three dog parks in my area. Where they can run around and meet new pups if allowed I am currently an full time online student so I would be with your pup the whole day.
