About: My name is Samantha and I've been a lifelong lover of all creatures great and small! I am currently a mom to a 8 year old miniature schnauzer, but I've had a kitty or dog companion by my side my entire life. I'm new to Mississippi Mills and I would love to meet your pet. Friends in Ottawa have relied on me to check in on their fur babies, take them for walks, feed them dinner, or simply spend time with them! I'm very reliable, I work from home 4 out of 5 week days, have a car, am flexible and adaptive. I work from home 4 out of 5 days of the week and am typically available on evenings and weekends. If your pup likes other pups I can have them join in on my routine walks with my little schnauzer. If not, that's cool too! I'm always down for a solo walk. I will do whatever it takes to make sure your furry baby will be well taken care of! I can be trusted to do drop in visits, spend time petting, playing with, feeding or walking your baby.

About: I'm 22, I've had animals my entire existence including reptiles. I live on 4 acres of mostly fenced in yard for your babies to run around. I'm flexible on anything you need for your babies. (And I can babysit your reptiles) I currently have no job but I'm looking for a part-time so I can continue to focus on meeting all sorts of new animals that need somewhere to snooze and play. I have a mostly fenced yard, three doggos that are super friendly to everything. I have experience with vet medicine and crate training. I have LOTS of safe dog toys that need to be played with.

About: I’m calm, intuitive, active, and experienced. I normally take long walks more than 19km a week and would love to walk dogs with me in mind of their fitness levels. I approach pet care with a focus on empathy and environmental awareness. I’ve spent years caring for neighbors' and family’s cats and dogs, and I’ve developed a deep understanding of animal behavior. I recognize that pets are highly in tune with their surroundings and their handlers. I believe in respectful communication and maintaining the strict routines that help animals feel safe. As an independent creative professional working from a dedicated home studio, my daily routine is completely flexible and built around active, outdoor lifestyle habits. I specialize in providing an incredibly attentive, active environment for pets ensuring they receive constant companionship throughout the day and plenty of dedicated exercise tailored to their energy levels. I live in a peaceful rural setting with plenty of fresh air and open space. I have a basement with direct backyard access, providing a cool, quiet retreat for pets. While my yard is unfenced, I am an experienced endurance walker and am always attentive to leashed safety and strict routines to ensure every pet feels secure in their environment.

About: Hi! I’m Adrienne. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy, whether that’s going for long walks, providing companionship, or making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I currently own two amazing dogs - a 9-year-old German Shepherd and a 4-year-old Alaskan Malamute mix - so I’m very familiar with caring for large, active breeds and understanding that every dog has their own unique personality and needs. I’m an active, reliable, and organized person who loves spending time outdoors. Whether your dog enjoys leisurely neighbourhood strolls, longer walks on local trails, or simply having someone to keep them company, I’d be happy to help. I have experience with dog walking, pet sitting, and caring for both dogs and cats, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind while providing your pets with the love, attention, and care they deserve. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! I work for myself in Almonte so my schedule can (sometimes) be flexible! I work Tuesday - Saturday primarily and my days off are Sundays & Mondays. Fenced yard, non fenced yard, near water, crate trained, not crate trained, dog parks, walking in group, walking alone….. I’m confident in whatever makes your pet the most comfortable and happy.

About: I have always had a dog in my world. Being outside with them, and going on nature walks is the best; along with all the smiles and comfort they bring! No matter the distance, time spent outdoors with a pup always brings so much joy. At this time Thursday-Saturday evenings are best for over-nights. Weekends are also a time when I am free. If there were to be additional needed time given, I could potentially be available. I am also available for drop-ins and walks weekdays after 3:00 p.m. I would make sure that they have time to play around outside and then have a nap inside :) more outside time afterwards of course! I would play with them inside and give treats and meals as indicated from owner. With having two labs I understand dietary needs and can aid to those needs as-well.

About: I have had dogs for many years. Now that I am retired I am looking to giving back and helping other pet owners. I know that time is limited and sometimes you just need some help. Given my years of experience and my love of dogs, helping dog owners seemed the natural fit. It is a win/win....you get some much needed help and I get to enjoy being with your canine friend! I walk everyday as part of my active lifestyle and love to meet and greet dogs along the way. Seems like the perfect fit to invite your dog along for a scenic walk around the area. I love a brisk walk for my own health benefits and I know from past experience that my dogs always benefited from the same. Whether it was a better sleep or better appetite or being better behaved and ultimately more healthy, a good walk was the answer. I know from being busy in the past, I wasn't always able to get out regularly with my furry friends. If that is you, then that is where I come in to help and keep those walks regular.

“Cadence took care of our 2 cats for a few days while we were away. The cats seemed happy upon our return. Cadence was feeling ill for a couple of days while taking care of them and even mentioned that she wiped down all surfaces she touched so we wouldn't catch what she had! Thoughtful!”

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and any other care they’re used to. I’m respectful of your home, reliable, and focused on making your pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I also make sure to keep owners updated with messages and photos so you know your pets are doing well.

About: Long before petsitting became a commoditized business, Debbie Ozarko was on the Ottawa scene bringing joy to the lives of dogs and their people with her dog walking service, "We Take the Dogs Out" in 2000. This eventually morphed into, "It’s a Ruff Life Doggie Daycare" which thrived until her move to the British Columbia coast in 2013. Her love for such beautiful intimacy with animals has only deepened over time, and with her return to the Ottawa area she is eager to offer her exceptional services once again. Debbie is also a long-time volunteer with the Rideau Valley Wildlife Sanctuary and the IFAW Northern Dogs Project. Animals truly are her life. Debbie brings it back to what is most meaningful for all: respect, integrity and generosity of spirit—for you, and for your furry, fuzzy and feathered animal companions. Animals are my life! It doesn't matter if they are residents are not, they are all treated with love, kindness, respect, and compassion. My schedule is constructed around their needs first. I have access to several quiet areas where field, forest and streams abound for off-leash romps. If dogs are better with on-leash walks, I'm happy to take them to green spaces where they have access to lots of sniffing to satiate that deep primal canine need. I also provide healthy, grain-free treats...just because. Of course, I offer only these with your approval beforehand.
