About: When I was 10 years old, I welcomed a beautiful chocolate lab pup into my home. She was my best friend until she passed away in September of 2025. Since her passing, I have felt a void in caring for and loving dogs. I work as a Bylaw enforcement officer in the City of Ottawa and work extensively with dogs, cats, and wildlife. Through my work experience I have met and cared for hundreds of different dogs with their own unique personalities and behaviours. Considering my personal life and work experience, I think potential clients and I would mutually benefit from me caring for and looking after their dogs. I work shift work on a staggered schedule, with my primary shifts being 6am until 5pm, and 3pm until 2am. I have several weekdays off when most people work, which is opportune for me to take care of their animals when needed. As a dog owner for 13 years, I learned how to make my pet comfortable, loved, and adapted to her needs. Through my work experience, this is has been strengthened further through interacting with dogs and animals that I did not previously know. I’m compassionate towards my love of dogs and I would love to care for and interact with more.

About: About Ricardo I have over 8 years of experience as a dog sitter, walker and Behaviorist in Mexico. Calling the Glebe home, I am lucky to live in one of the most beautiful, safe, and animal friendly neighborhoods in the city. Though I live in a one-bedroom apartment on the 8th floor of a small high-rise, my home is very cozy and welcoming (especially for dogs and cats!). I have a beautiful outdoor balcony space with a wonderful view for furpals to relax on, and a spacious indoor area with multiple dog beds, lots of dog toys, and a pet friendly couch and king bed (I have a corgi-approved ramp for access). Your furbabies will feel right at home with Rosie and have a pal to play and lounge with at all times. Additionally, my neighbourhood is surrounded by safe walking paths, and extensive green park spaces, featuring multiple dog parks within a few minutes walk, and a very friendly dog community (Rosie will make the proper introductions to her best pals). Rest-assured that your furbaby will be in a stimulating, yet safe environment, and get lots of exercise and social time!

About: I am a dog loving person who decided to offer dog boarding because when I was in need of a dog sitter, I was referred to this site. Being new to the area, I would love to help other dog parents in need. Wilbur, our fur baby, loves all dogs. I live two blocks from the water front and many parks around. I work from home so there will always be someone here to keep the fur babies company. Guaranteed 2-3 long walks per day. I have a studio apartment so only able to take small to medium size dogs at this time.

About: I have been caring for animals my whole life, I started within my own household and once I was old enough I started dog walking after school, into adulthood I have taken my fair share of dog sitting jobs and walking when I have had the chance. I have some spare time now that I’d like to fill with surrounding myself with animals again. I work part time, and on my days off I’m looking for a Job that brings me happiness, so no better way than surrounding myself with fur babies and helping support them when their parents are busy. I will care for your pet as if it were my own, animals have a very special place in my heart and they deserve the best care possible.

About: I’ve been house and pet-sitting since I was 16. Always making sure my friends and family can step away with zero stress and their fur babies are the star of the show! I’ve taken care of small to medium sized mostly, but large dogs a few times. No matter where I go, pets gravitate towards me! My schedule is very flexible and I have great knowledge of the city with reliable transportation. I play sports in the evening a few days a week but nothing that can’t be worked around I will ensure I study the area my clients live in and discuss the areas and routines your pets are accustomed to. Also, the type words they respond to. I always want to ensure they will feel safe and comfortable.

Should your pup be too big to carry and incapable of doing several sets of steps, this may not be the home for you :) As I prepare to study for my legal Licensing exams, I will be home all for the next six months to give your pup all the love and attention they deserve! Should there be an occasion where I must go out, my partner may stay home from work to accommodate! Despite my need to study, I love being active and so does my partner! Should your dog require extra walks or exercise, we would love to have them join us ! At minimum, we will include your furry friend on 3 large walks a day. Please continue reading for a description of our daily schedule: Morning: My partner and myself both wake up by about 7am. My partner typically leaves early, while I will be home to study and care for your furry friends. In the morning I will grab coffee and go for a walk of about 30 minutes before 8am, letting your pup out to pee as needed beforehand. Afternoon: In the afternoon, I often aim to go for about 1 hour of a walk minimum. I will go through the forest or alongside our neighborhood which is a quiet and less populated area of Ottawa. In doing so, there is plenty of room and opportunity to roam around should your pup enjoy such activities. Evening: Before dinner, I often like to walk for about 20 minutes prior to giving dinner. After we have all eaten, myself and my partner typically walk for about 45 minutes to one hour. In the evening, we enjoy down time at home, often reading or watching TV. Your furry friend will hang out with us! Before bed, there will be opportunity for one last walk or at least a pee! ** Note that walks and breaks will be given generously throughout the day. There will never be more than a 1-2 hour period without an outdoor break. Myself and my partner are both young professionals. My partner works as an IT consultant in a hybrid model while I work and study from home! We reside in a three story townhome, with ample room for your pup to run free and explore. There is nowhere in our home that is off limits to animals. We do not have a closed in backyard, but rather have our pee breaks in front of the home which faces a large forest and field. When I care for others pets, I typically set alarms for a walk or pee every 45 minutes to 1 hours. This ensures a check in or small pee break will never be forgotten in case of animals not knowing where to alert to go outside. With this in mind, I often take large and longer walks in between pee breaks in order to better break up the day. Please see the Schedule section to see a predicted daily schedule. Despite this, we are active individuals who love to walk and explore, ensuring your pup will have lots of opportunities to pee and explore as they wish 🐶. Please note, we have plenty of room for a crate should your dog require, but we do not posses one at the moment!
