Before I come to care for your pet, it’s really helpful to know about any behavioural details like aggression, resource guarding, reactivity around other dogs, or any challenges with leash walking. I’d also like to know their general likes and dislikes, any allergies, and anything that tends to stress them out or calm them down. Please don't feel embarrassed if your dog is not great on leash or great around other pets. My GSD is a stubborn walker who loves to talk - I come prepared! If there’s anything specific about their routine, quirks, or medical needs, that’s always useful too, it just helps me make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. 😊

Activities are always based on your pet’s personality, energy, and routine. For dogs, this can include neighbourhood walks, hikes, trips to the park, backyard play, fetch, swimming, and other fun ways to keep them both physically and mentally active. For cats, I focus on playtime and enrichment that taps into their natural instincts like hunting, climbing, and exploring. This is done through their toys, cat towers and creative thinking! I always stick to your pet’s usual routine, and when it makes sense, I’ll add in some extra play or simple activities to keep them engaged. I pay attention to their mood and energy, and adjust things so they’re comfortable, happy, and well looked after.

Hi, I’m Jenna! I’m a lifelong animal lover who has grown up with both cats and dogs. I currently have two senior cats and a 5 year old German Shepherd, so I’m very familiar with caring for pets at all stages of life. At 21, I founded a local animal rescue called The Avery Foundation. During my 5 years volunteering there, I gained hands-on experience administering medication, working with aggressive or feral cats and dogs, and caring for senior pets with more complex needs. I’m confident handling all types of animal personalities and situations, and not much fazes me! Your pets are family, and I’ll treat them with the same care, patience, and attention I give my own. I’m down to earth, friendly, and a quick learner. I have previous experience pet sitting on Rover and am excited to start taking on new clients again! Jenna was Amazing! responded very quickly to my initial request, came over for a meet and greet prior to our first booking and kept me updated with photos and amazing communication during her drop in! Couldn’t be happier with our experience will definitely be booking again in the future!
Jenna took fantastic care of our 2 cats and she provided a bunch of photos during her visit! Super easy to communicate key drop off and collection aswell as a meet and greet before booking with her. I would strongly recommend Jenna as a pet sitter and we will be booking with her in the future too!
Jenna did an amazing job pet and house sitting. Our dog and cat got lots of love while she was here. And she stayed in close contact throughout the stay.
