Please note: while I am experienced with behavioural challenges, I do not accept dogs with a history of aggression or biting. This is to ensure the safety of all dogs in my care, as well as my young child at home. For safety, all boarding dogs must be crate trained and comfortable with overnight crating. I've had my own small dog for 14 years now, as well as a 1 year old large dog, and a kitten; so I know all of the love and work that goes into taking care of our little friends. I also have experience caring for farm animals (goats, sheep, and chickens)! My house is within walking distance of a vet and pet supplies, as well as right next to a long trail that is behind my backyard that your dog is sure to love! Since I have a dog myself, your friend will be doing everything with mine, so even if I'm away for an hour or so, they won't ever be by themselves! About: I am a registered veterinary technician who works at an emergency clinic. I have been working with animals my whole life. I have been fostering dogs for the last 5 years, providing them with training and helping them find their forever homes once they are ready. I have recently started boarding dogs at my house as I moved to a farm and had the land and space to run them and give them everything they need. I would offer additional services with my boarding if the client would like, these services would included training, nail trims, ear cleanings, etc. I have two high energy dogs who need a lot of time running off leash per day. I am always taking them in the bush, on the trails, on hikes or on bike rides to tire them out. The best suited dog to board with me would be one that is successful off leash with recall, as we spend 2 hours per day off leash in the bush as well as off leash time in my yard. I live on 5 acres so there is many opportunity to run and play. My dogs are very good with new dogs coming into our home as they are use to me bringing home new fosters very often. Both of them are crate trained, place trained and e collar trained and are very respectful of other dogs space. They like to wrestle and play when the time is right, and know when it is time to rest. My dogs know that outside is play time, and when we are inside that is their time to rest either on their beds or in their crates.

About: Joelhyn has been a dog walker and dog sitter since she was about 14 or 15 years old. She started by babysitting and those families entrusted her with their pets while the family was away, to care for and clean their dogs and cats. She also walked dogs for some of the older neighbours in the area who couldn’t do it themselves anymore. Shes taken many different kinds of dogs on walks, given them baths, fed them to specific instructions and played with them till the sun went down! Kyle has owned pets his whole life, always having two dogs in the house as well as two cats and various types of reptiles or rodents throughout the household too, so specific instructions for pets is not uncommon for him. When I am not studying full time at Algonquin college, I work part time at a pet valu which had provided me with fundamental knowledge and skills that will help me keep your pet safe, happy and healthy. I take pride in helping others. I have had a family dog for most of my childhood which had allowed me to get to know the right and wrongs of training a dog. I’m available Monday through Friday, both morning and evening. I’m committed to providing the best care for your pet, even with my other commitments, depending on your requested date and time. I have a fenced in backyard and one friendly golden retriever to keep your pet company while you are away. I have a large backyard, and a close by park and trail for exercise. I am a licensed and safe G class driver with my own vehicle so I am available to travel to pick up your dog from your house for a small extra fee depending on your location.

I have always had dogs and pets in my home, currently mom to two kids and one 11 year old cattle dog (think Bluey). Experience with puppies also! About: I have cared for cats and dogs my entire life. My family bred Labradors, Great Danes, and Rottweilers while I grew up, so have a lot of exposure with doggy care. Although I currently only have a cat, I love all animals and would be happy to make your pet's life better while they are missing you :) I have a flexible work schedule which allows me to make my own hours, and work remotely. About: I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs my entire life. I’ve grown up with 6 pets in my home (2 dogs and 4 cats) I would love the chance to meet your pets! I’m a first year law student at the University of Ottawa. My classes are coming to an end in April so I will have complete availability. About: I am a registered veterinary technician who works at an emergency clinic. I have been working with animals my whole life. I have been fostering dogs for the last 5 years, providing them with training and helping them find their forever homes once they are ready. I have recently started boarding dogs at my house as I moved to a farm and had the land and space to run them and give them everything they need. I would offer additional services with my boarding if the client would like, these services would included training, nail trims, ear cleanings, etc. I have two high energy dogs who need a lot of time running off leash per day. I am always taking them in the bush, on the trails, on hikes or on bike rides to tire them out. The best suited dog to board with me would be one that is successful off leash with recall, as we spend 2 hours per day off leash in the bush as well as off leash time in my yard. I live on 5 acres so there is many opportunity to run and play. My dogs are very good with new dogs coming into our home as they are use to me bringing home new fosters very often. Both of them are crate trained, place trained and e collar trained and are very respectful of other dogs space. They like to wrestle and play when the time is right, and know when it is time to rest. My dogs know that outside is play time, and when we are inside that is their time to rest either on their beds or in their crates.
About: I’ve been a Veterinarian Technician for 17 years. I have experience working with many different species. I have also done lots of pet sitting throughout the years. I am capable of giving medications, nails trims, supportive care, you name it! I live on a hobby farm so have experience with chickens, goats, donkeys and horses. I currently have a 2 year old yorkie “Gordon” who loves the company of other dogs, no matter what size! I’m currently home throughout the week so can be available almost anytime throughout the day. I’m very active so happy to take your pup for a nice walk. We are a very adventurous family so often away on the weekends so my weekends will be limited.
