“Lynda was absolutely wonderful with my senior Morkie. She has a real way with dogs and is very attentive to all their needs. I felt so confident leaving Lily with her and she came home so happy.Thank you Lynda!”

“Nicole and Eddie went above and beyond for our dog Teddy. They took great care of him and made sure we had lots of photos and videos. Looking forward to the next time Teddy gets to stay!”

“I had never boarded our 8 year old chocolate lab before so I was nervous to leave him. Kim made us feel comfortable with plenty of pictures and updates throughout the week. They dogs got along great, enjoyed the whole house and she even let him sleep on the bed. I can’t say enough great things about this experience. She noticed his ears were bothering him and took the time to clean them (which he doesn’t normally let anyone do but me). Thank you Kim! ❤️”

“This sitter was the best. Extremely professional and kind and caring. Knows her stuff. My dog came home super happy and that makes us happy. A lot of photos videos and updates the way it suppose to be and we appreciate that.”

“I honestly don’t even know where to start with how incredible this experience was. I found this dog sitter last minute on Rover, and from the very first message, they went above and beyond in every possible way. I have two very high-energy dogs, and leaving them is never something I take lightly—but she, her husband, and their kids made me feel completely at ease. Not only were they unbelievably accommodating and flexible, but they were also so genuinely kind, warm, and generous. They treated my dogs like part of their family. It wasn’t just “watching” them—they were loved, played with, and cared for in a way that honestly exceeded anything I could have hoped for. Her kids adored my dogs, and it showed in every update and every interaction. What truly stood out was how much they went out of their way to help me. They kept my dogs longer than expected without charging anything extra, just out of kindness. That level of generosity is rare, and it meant so much to me. If you’re looking for someone you can fully trust with your pets—someone who will treat them like their own—I cannot recommend Justin, Kristen and her family enough. I am beyond grateful to have found them. Thank you again for everything—you are truly amazing. ❤️”

“April was fantastic! We appreciated how accommodating and caring she was with Gizmo, and the regular pictures and updates were great! Would highly recommend and will be sure to book with April again. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Gizmo.”

“Apollo had another fantastic stay with Daniel and Sarah! As always, they are always super responsive, send great photos and updates over the stay. I can tell Apollo absolutely loves being with them and their kids, as he never wants to leave 😂”
“It’s the first time I left my dog for a few days with a dog sitter so I was nervous about it. Jason and Jocelyn were great and took good care of him. Billie had lots of love from them. He had friends to play with and keep him company as well. Thank you 😊”

“Gus just had his second stay with Lei and the bond they have is beautiful. It is obvious that they understand each other and have a connection. Gus is very happy and feels safe when in her care. We are so lucky to have found someone who loves our Gus as much as we do.”

“Tanya is amazing! She took excellent care of our 12 year old dog. She provided updates and photos while we were away. She even went the extra mile by giving him a lovely bath prior to our pick up. He smells great...for the time being! :)”

“Cristina was amazing and put me at ease leave my boys with her while I was gone for the holidays. They seemed to have a good time with her. I would definitely book again with her!”

“Mirian took such good care of Hannah while we were away on a short trip. She provided daily updates which gave us some peace of mind that Hannah was having a good time. I highly recommend her to anyone that needs a pet sitter.”

“Kavya took care of Bailey while we were away. Bailey made herself at home and was treated like family! I received news and photos every few days, it was perfect! Thanks!”

“Laura, her family, and her neighbourhood fur friends were so amazing with Archie - We were a bit worried he wasn’t going to want to come home! I would highly recommend Laura for your four legged family members! 💕”

“It takes a leap of faith to put the care of a dog which we love so much, in the hands of strangers. However, in the case of Ruby and Gordon, right from our very first interactions, something felt "right". They invited us into their home for a meet and great, and we knew then and there that it was a good fit for our Benji. They are excellent communicators and answer messages very quickly, plus they sent lots of photos of our dog while he was in their care. It's obvious they really like dogs, and treated our guy so well. I have absolutely zero reservations recommending them for the care of your dogs. Ruby and Gordon represent the very best you could you ever want for your dog.”

“Maria took great care of our dog. She maintained her regular walks and feeding schedules. As well she excelled in communicating Fleurie’s daily activities through text, photo and video. I would highly recommend her to any future clients.”

“Hui was AMAZING with Max. He had never been left before. She provided regular updates with pics, videos and messages. She asked advice on what he liked to eat and play with. She was very engaged. Her house is a dogs dream with easy access to toys and water. I HIGHLY recommend her services. So thankful to have found a warm home environment away from home. She treated Max like one of the family.”

“Coco loved her stay. Lots of walks, playtime, patience and love. We loved all the frequent updates and pictures. We were very please and happy that Coco was in such a great caring environment. We will defiantly rebook 👍🙏👌”

About: My name is Tamara and I would love the pleasure to look after your dog when you're in need! I've had my own small dog for 14 years now, as well as a 1 year old large dog, and a kitten; so I know all of the love and work that goes into taking care of our little friends. I also have experience caring for farm animals (goats, sheep, and chickens)! My house is within walking distance of a vet and pet supplies, as well as right next to a long trail that is behind my backyard that your dog is sure to love! Since I have a dog myself, your friend will be doing everything with mine, so even if I'm away for an hour or so, they won't ever be by themselves! I'm able to follow any routine that you need and I'll make sure that you're furry friend feels as at home as possible. I work full time as a teacher (8-3), so I'm home pretty early every day. My pets are home while I'm gone, so your furry friend will never be alone. I leave puzzles and enrichment toys for them while I'm gone, and I even have a pet camera so that I can check in on them too. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me! I have a pet camera that you can tune into as well (while I'm gone), if that's something you'd be interested in. I will treat your furry friend just like I would my own; with love, care, and patience!
“Trisha-Lee was absolutely fantastic. From booking until the end, there was great communication. She came over for a pre-visit and asked all the right questions and then some which felt very professional and also put us at ease. Pretty sure she took better care of Sausage than we do. Lucky us and lucky cat.”

About: About Kaitlyn I always had dogs growing up. I was employed at a dog daycare & boarding facility for 3 years and love being around dogs and creating a safe space for them to grow and learn! I am currently working full time throughout the months of April-November. During lay off season with work I do have a part time job during the week but willing do walk after work. 5:30 pm-7:00pm :) I am a firm believer in real emotional connection with dogs, just like people. Affection and creative play are my favourite activities, and on walks l aspire to create a comfortable environment to exercise and do their business. I'm not a professional dog trainer, but know the basic knowledge and skills for a nice, easy, and enjoyable walk!

About: I’ve had cats since I was little, so being around them has always felt natural to me. I recently don’t have any of my own, which honestly just makes me miss spending time with them even more. I’m comfortable with different personalities, from super social cats to more shy or independent ones, and I know how important patience and routine are for them. I genuinely enjoy caring for cats and making sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and well looked after.

About: My childhood cat had many litters of kittens, so I have been around cats a lot growing up. I did the usual responsibilities such as cleaning their litter boxes, feeding them, to the fun bonding experiences like playing with them with a laser pointer, to cuddling with them on the couch, to observing and playing with the kittens when they were really young. My cat was like my best friend. I had her for nearly 20 years and we were very close. She would always sleep with me when going to bed and whenever I was upset or having a hard day, she would come and find me and comfort me by staying with me.
About: I’ve had a dog my entire life and am the go to pet sitter for my friends and family members! I have the biggest soft spot for dogs and cats and will treat any animal like it’s my own. I do a lot of volunteer work in Central and South America working at Shelters and helping rescue and care for sick and endangered animals. We walk, feed, wash and give love to these animals and find them loving homes. I took a break from offering services on Rover the last year (2024) as I backpacked the world for 7 months, volunteering my time at various animal rescues and shelters where my passion for helping animals sky rocketed. I am now back in Ottawa and beyond eager to fill my day with animals again. I work from home and am very flexible and spontaneous so please reach out if you need anything! I keep my attention on any pet I’m watching and wouldn’t let them get away without my supervision. I treat them with full love and only want their safety. I live in a nice neighbourhood with lots of great walking trails and parks. I’m always trying to be outside and explore the city, having a furry friend with me would only be a total bonus I’d be honoured to have!

“As a furry parent leaving my pet at home for the first time. I was already stressed due to having to fly across the country to take care of personal matters. Causing fleeting thoughts minor or major, coupled with the stress and nerves leading to forgetting to mention the living room camera for security of the home and safety moniterance of my cat. camera. Which is important to mention prior to the sitter doing their duties as it is part of house rules. Which was that for security reasons, I had living room camera. Which I set to animal motion notifications. Ad h can be seen upon entry, can easily be missed. But should have been communicated regardless. It wasn't until landing from my flight, seeing the notification. Not often ill check as previously they were not inky installed for security but for my cats safety. I got the notification for the animal motion sensors that I realised I forgot to mention them. Noting my error, others would have still felt uneasy about forgetting something rather crutial. And would no longer in home sit just drop in vists. and understand of the error mad eit known that as it should have been com in nicated prior to the start of the service. To no longer returns to pet sit for me. hope they would a and you'd hope they wouldn't abandon my pet all together. Rather Shelby be a reason and good person still stayed and carried out the services. is such a great person understanding the error Which often I dont worry to check, cause they'll show she's playing when by herself. Causing a bit of a fleeting thought, couple with the stress and nerves lead to forgetting to mention the camera. But knowing I'm not home, and she easily stressed to changes. Causing her to act out, like climbing places she not suppose to or breaking things. Especially when she is home alone. For example, one time I had family staying over. Having changes in the household lead to her breaking a cup that was on the kitchen counter left by a family member. When we went out gorciery shopping. Luckily we just got home and were able to clean it. If we had been longer the glass deposit all over the floor would have caused an emergency room vist. Knowing this, I had to make sure this wasn't the case. Though learning from previous mistakes, theirs still flower pots and center fruit bowls. Luckily it wasn't of the sort and they were trying to play. I thought messaging Shelby for tips to help comfort her with something mom does. Not out of back seat driving, know she cannot replicate me. It is when realised, I messaged Shelby of tops to help play productivity to build connect. It wasn't meant to back seat drive, as I thought playing like how she does with her mom will bring her a sense of comfort to ease her stress. I checked the to see the notification. Everything was fine, It was until then, the next day after I landed. I realised I forgot to mention the security camera in the living room. It is understandable Which though can be seen upopn entry, can easily be missed but should always be communicated to her. I As elthey are well within the right to. Which anxious, and nervous about leaving her alone with someone she doesn't know. She did leave me to forget to mention things until after, Though upon meeting Shelby prior to her pet sitting. She is very kinds, understand and ensured to take no of all specifics regulated to Pawdry. Even when she missed one or two things, when it can to feeding instruction she made sure to make up for it the second time around the feeding schedule.”

About: I’ve been house and pet-sitting since I was 16. Always making sure my friends and family can step away with zero stress and their fur babies are the star of the show! I’ve taken care of small to medium sized mostly, but large dogs a few times. No matter where I go, pets gravitate towards me! My schedule is very flexible and I have great knowledge of the city with reliable transportation. I play sports in the evening a few days a week but nothing that can’t be worked around I will ensure I study the area my clients live in and discuss the areas and routines your pets are accustomed to. Also, the type words they respond to. I always want to ensure they will feel safe and comfortable.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and my family fostered dogs for the longest time. I was taught from a young age the importance of proper animal care, and know very well the special roles our furry friends take in our lives. I’m a recently graduated university student, and love filling my spare time with animals. I'm a seasonal worker with a job that doesn't start until mid-May, so I'm looking to help out anyone in need of pet care in the meantime! I’m a sucker for morning walks, evening play time, and staying overnight with your furry friends! My house is one that is very used to having many animals in it at once. We used to live with a dog and a cat, now it’s just a cat that loves company. There are designated eating areas for pets, loads of quiet spaces for shy ones, and plenty of toys and pillows to play with and lie on.
About: Although I’m new to professional pet sitting, I bring something just as valuable: genuine love, patience, and dedication to animals. Friends and neighbors have always trusted me with their pets, because they know I treat every furry (or feathered!) friend as if they were my own. I work from home most days, which allows me to provide consistent attention and flexibility for feeding, walks, and companionship. On the three days I commute to the office, I am still available before and after work, while weekends are fully open. This schedule ensures I can reliably meet the needs of pets and give them the care they deserve. I’m meticulous about safety and will keep a close eye on your furry family member at all times. Your pet’s happiness and safety are my top priorities. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, or just keeping them company, I’ll make sure they feel loved while you’re away.

About: I’ve had cats my entire life and genuinely can’t imagine life without them! Caring for cats has always been second nature to me, from understanding different personalities and routines to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether your cat is playful, shy, affectionate, or independent, I’m patient, attentive, and experienced in providing calm, reliable care for your babies!

“Daisy had another fun play day with Keyser. Nicole and Eddie give Daisy lots of attention and love which she thrives on. She came home one happy and tired pup :)”

“Laura was wonderful! I was very impressed by the thoroughness of her questions during our "meet and greet" visit. Laura was so aware and attentive to my senior dog Tyson's needs during his day spent with her. Looking forward to our next visit!”

“Alaina was amazing she gave frequent updates with pictures, our golden retriever puppy had a great time with her pup, he was tired from having so much fun and playing all day, I felt comfortable that he was in good hands the moment I met her, we will definitely will be using her again for daycare for our pup.”

“Jacqueline and Jamie have once again taken AMAZING care of Nelly! They are thoughtful and considerate people that truly care about the wellbeing of all the dogs they look after. Nelly is a tired, happy girl when we pick her up after day care and there is no doubt that she received so much love and attention in their care. I would recommend Jacqueline and Jamie to anyone in the area, your dog will be extremely lucky and well taken care of!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Lei! Our French Bulldog, Nunu, absolutely loved staying with her. What impressed us most was how Lei took the time to understand Nunu’s personality and created a care plan that really suited her needs. Whether it was her daily routine, playtime, or quiet time, everything was personalized. We received regular updates and photos, and it was clear that Nunu was happy and well cared for. We truly appreciate the thoughtful and professional care. Highly recommended!”

About: I'm 22, I've had animals my entire existence including reptiles. I live on 4 acres of mostly fenced in yard for your babies to run around. I'm flexible on anything you need for your babies. (And I can babysit your reptiles) I currently have no job but I'm looking for a part-time so I can continue to focus on meeting all sorts of new animals that need somewhere to snooze and play. I have a mostly fenced yard, three doggos that are super friendly to everything. I have experience with vet medicine and crate training. I have LOTS of safe dog toys that need to be played with.
“Sawyer has had a great start with Jacelyn and Jason. He has never had dog sitting before, and he has not spent a lot of time away from friends and family. With back to the office starting, we were looking for a solution and he has been really good so far. On his second visit when he hopped out of the car and realized where he was he went straight for the door, tail wagging which is a great sign. We plan to continue booking and working with them as care providers for Sawyer.”

“My pup spent the day with Jennifer and her husband. Both of them love dogs and you feel that immediately. I felt secure that my pup would be well taken care of, and as a bonus, I got pictures and updates on how he was doing! I will definitely book with them again soon!”

“Sarah is amazing! This was our first time using Sarah for doggy day care and I knew within minutes that I had nothing to worry about. Her demeanour and gentle personality are wonderful and I knew she would be a great fit for Brady. Brady was following her around and tail wagging when I arrived to pick him up. She sent pictures and updates. I would definitely recommend Sarah- she speaks doggie :)”

“I reached out to Kris last minute needing someone to care for my puppy and he was super accommodating. Our puppy Stanley seemed to have had such a good time with him and MJ. I would highly recommend them and will be using their services again!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover living in Stittsville, Ottawa, and dogs have truly been my passion for as long as I can remember. I share my home with my own three well-socialized, crate-trained dogs and work mostly from home, so your pup will have plenty of attention, company, and care throughout the day. I have a large, fully fenced, pie-shaped yard that’s safe, clean, and perfect for playtime. Dogs in my care are treated like family — they’re welcome to sleep freely in my bedroom with my dogs, have cozy pet beds, and follow a calm, loving routine. If your dog prefers or needs a crate, you’re welcome to bring one, and I’m happy to help with crate time when I step out. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet, especially if you feel anxious about their care. My goal is to give you total peace of mind knowing your dog is safe, happy, and genuinely having a great time. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am, and one day it’s my retirement dream. For now, I’m thrilled to offer a loving home-away-from-home for your pup. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own, feel free to reach out — I’d love to chat! I work 90% from home. I just go in and out for meetings and certain scheduling, but I’m rarely out of the house for longer than a few hours. Basically, aside from my job, which I mostly do remote dogs are my first priority and get the current attention. They need hourly if not minute by minute. I treat others dogs like I treat my own with love, warmth, and caring. I exercise the dogs daily and give them what they need to make sure that they’re tired out and before I ever leave the house for an hour or two if I need to, I make sure that they are let outside and that they’ve done their business so they don’t have to wait for me to get back.
“Rodrigo and his mother took great care of Zoey! It was our first time leaving her away from us, so we were a bit nervous, especially because she’s still a young puppy and needs a lot of attention. They were very understanding, patient, and caring with her, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Rodrigo also sent us many updates throughout the day, which really helped us feel reassured and connected while she was with them. We could tell she was well looked after and in good hands. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind to care for their dog!”

“Karen was amazing with my 2 little nervous rescue pups. They are usually anxious in new places but they fit right in at Karen's and didn't show any signs of anxiety. They didn't even really react when I left. They had a fun day playing with Karen's dogs both in the house and in the lovely back yard. They come home relaxed and tired - a sure sign of a good day! Thanks so much Karen for your sensitivity and calm approach with Molly and Ruby... they'll be back for sure!”

“Jennifer was kind and warm at the meet & greet and, fortunately for me, was available to provide daycare on fairly short notice for my recently adopted older dog. I felt confident that Misty was in safe and caring hands. She came home tired and happy after a full day of fun and attention.”

About: Loving dog sitter providing warm cuddles, gentle care, and a calm, cozy home where your little companion feels safe, happy, and truly loved every day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I work from home. I’m available throughout the day for walks, feeding, playtime, bathroom breaks, and plenty of cuddles and supervision. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard for secure outdoor time, plus a park directly behind my home with plenty of walking trails for safe, enriching walks.
About: I am a registered veterinary technician who works at an emergency clinic. I have been working with animals my whole life. I have been fostering dogs for the last 5 years, providing them with training and helping them find their forever homes once they are ready. I have recently started boarding dogs at my house as I moved to a farm and had the land and space to run them and give them everything they need. I would offer additional services with my boarding if the client would like, these services would included training, nail trims, ear cleanings, etc. I have two high energy dogs who need a lot of time running off leash per day. I am always taking them in the bush, on the trails, on hikes or on bike rides to tire them out. The best suited dog to board with me would be one that is successful off leash with recall, as we spend 2 hours per day off leash in the bush as well as off leash time in my yard. I live on 5 acres so there is many opportunity to run and play. My dogs are very good with new dogs coming into our home as they are use to me bringing home new fosters very often. Both of them are crate trained, place trained and e collar trained and are very respectful of other dogs space. They like to wrestle and play when the time is right, and know when it is time to rest. My dogs know that outside is play time, and when we are inside that is their time to rest either on their beds or in their crates.
“Chantal is fantastic with my Jax! Jax has been for an overnight stay and a couple of doggy daycare stays so far, and he is always so happy to see Chantal, her pup Fergus and the other pups that are in her care. He has so much fun with them, and is very well cared for.”

“Kimberley was amazing with my dog! I loved how she just fit him in with her life during the overnight stay. I know he was well cared for and pampered. I highly recommend Kimberley.”

“Kirstin and Justin really love dogs! It was so nice to have them walk my dogs for me. They sent pictures of the dogs enjoying the walks. Kirstin and Justin are both very friendly and understanding about my hyper, jumpy lab. They have lots of experience with handling dogs and it was so nice to have their help.”

“Jessica is amazing! Communication is great, she is friendly, knowledgeable, caring. She takes my dog for walks and my dog loves it. I highly recommend her, I have booked with Jessica a couple of times now and will continue to book with her :)”

“Katie is the most reliable, most trustworthy dog lover I have ever had since I got rover years ago. My dog has leash anxiety and freaks out about the strangest things. Katie deals with that no problem, her loving and calm demeanor is exactly what my pup needs. And now Pippi waits for her daily walkie with Katie at the door in anticipation. She takes her for longer walks on days the dog is full of beans and will play with her in the yard on days its too hot or rainy. Katie is there for the dog and always treats my baby with love. Katie is THE ONE.”

About: I’ve had puppies, kittens, even 10-day-old kittens that needed around-the-clock bottle feeding and care, so I’m no stranger to the messy, adorable, and sometimes chaotic side of pet parenting! I’ve grown up with animals my entire life, and my fur babies are truly my pride and joy. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family - whether that means long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just making sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and needs. You can expect lots of updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring, experienced hands I work from home during the week and have very flexible hours, so it's easy for me to accomadate your schedule to make your fur baby feel as comfortable as possible while you're gone. Other than Sunday morning church services, my weekends are completely open to you! When caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to keep everything as consistent and stress-free as possible for them. I follow your pet’s routine closely - including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m also very mindful of keeping your home clean and respected, leaving things exactly as I found them (or better!). As someone who has 3 cats who's main goal in life is to escape to the great outdoors (and fails every time), safety is always a top priority, so I stay alert on walks, secure doors and gates, and keep a close eye on your pet’s behaviour and well-being. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.
About: I have cared for cats and dogs my entire life. My family bred Labradors, Great Danes, and Rottweilers while I grew up, so have a lot of exposure with doggy care. Although I currently only have a cat, I love all animals and would be happy to make your pet's life better while they are missing you :) I have a flexible work schedule which allows me to make my own hours, and work remotely. As such I'm here to give your pet all the attention they need! I will make sure your pet gets the best care. Love, kindness, play time, treats as allowed, as well as a gentle but firm understanding of boundaries and proper behaviour guidelines. Also happy to take and send videos and photos to reassure my fellow pet parents!
“I’m so grateful for Jocelyn’s flexibility and willingness to accommodate us on short notice. Timon had a wonderful time on his walk and came back happy and well-exercised.”

“Alecia is great! Lily is high energy but she is very happy and tired out by the time Alecia brings her home. She even looks out for my cat Kiki when they go for walks! Would definitely recommend her.”

“Qianzhi was great with Eevee! She kept Eevee happy by playing with her and taking her on many walks which included trails. Our favourite thing she did was the constant flow of pictures she sent us, so we always knew what she was doing. Qianzhi was very communicative and was to quick to reply to any and all messages. We will definitely be booking her again!”

About: Hi, I’m Shannon. I provide a calm, clean, and structured home environment where your dog will feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for in a countryside environment. As a healthcare professional and experienced dog sport handler, I naturally pay close attention to detail, routines, and subtle changes in behaviour, ensuring your pet’s well-being is always a top priority. I keep my bookings small so each dog receives personalized care, consistent routines, and meaningful one-on-one attention. My home is best suited for dogs who thrive in a quieter environment, including seniors or those who may feel overwhelmed in busy kennel settings. I also have experience accommodating puppies and high-energy dogs in various stages of training. I work from home, which allows me to provide a consistent, supervised routine where your dog receives plenty of structure, attention, and meaningful interaction throughout the day. My child is very dog savvy and trains dogs as junior handler on our flyball club. I attend dog training classes with my own dogs. When appropriate and with your approval, your dog is welcome to join for a safe and enriching outing, including a secured car ride and a supervised “sniff safari” or work recalls at the training facility. During the summer months, I also participate in dog sport tournaments, which may involve travel and on-site camping 4–6 hours away. For clients who are comfortable, dogs are welcome to join these structured adventure experiences. Participation is always optional and discussed in advance to ensure it’s the right fit for your dog. I offer a dedicated dog space equipped with crates, comfortable bedding, fresh water, and access to a secure dog run, along with a large, fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time. We also have the executive suite, which is a play pen for boarding dogs and especially for puppies and seniors. I have extensive experience with senior dogs and those with special needs, including administering medications, supplements, dietary needs kibble and raw feeding, caring for deaf or blind animals. With over 12 years in competitive dog sports, I am also skilled in handling puppies, high-energy dogs, reactivity (such as barking or anxiety), and resource guarding. Please note: while I am experienced with behavioural challenges, I do not accept dogs with a history of aggression or biting. This is to ensure the safety of all dogs in my care, as well as my young child at home. For safety, all boarding dogs must be crate trained and comfortable with overnight crating. This helps maintain a calm and structured environment. During the day, dogs are welcome on furniture and can enjoy a relaxed, home-like setting. You can expect regular updates, photos and videos, a clean and safe space, and the peace of mind that your dog is being cared for like family.
“Our little Maltipoo had a pampered long Thanksgiving weekend with Jacqueline and Jamie. She is totally relaxed with them and gets plenty of attention and TLC. The regular photos and updates give us peace of mind. There's no better place!”

About: Hey! I’ve had pets in my home my whole life (from hamsters to large breed dogs). My family fostered animals from the Ottawa Humane Society for 10 plus years. I have experience with all kids of fur babies :) I work from home Monday-Friday so I have lots of flexibilty. I live in a quiet community perfect for dog walks, and have a yard for supervised potty breaks. My home is very pet friendly. I have no issues with pet hair on furniture or the occasional mess. I have my own three legged kitty who is dog friendly. I love to give affection to pets and allow them on my furniture.
“Madeleine was fantastic. She communicated with me and was quick to reply. My pup, who has anxiety and is an old grump came back in great shape and I don’t believe he missed us at all!! Thank you so much”

“This was our first time using Rover for a dog sitter. We were a little unsure but Lindsay and her family made this a great experience. Lindsay met with us a couple weeks in advance of our pup’s stay, she sent us many updates with photos and took such good care of our pup that she did not want to leave. We’ll definitely be using Lindsay again in the future. Wish we could rate her with 100+ stars!!!”

“Our Seamus had a wonderful time with Janice and Rene They made him feel right at home We appreciated their daily updates and photos Couldn't be happier with the care that they provided”

“Meghan & Jon took amazing care of our dog, Charlie! Great communication, lots of love, and peace of mind while we were away. Highly recommend and will definitely book again!”

“Cathy was a wonderful sitter for Gus! They went on adventures, & she took very good care of him, including asking me about skin issues he had. (I knew about them already, & he was fine.) We got photos & video of Gus having a blast. He will be back soon!”

“Manali and her family poured so much love onto Zeus on our most recent visit to Ottawa. He really felt comfortable there. Elsa, their dog, was so gentle and accomadating to Zeus. They were also very accomodating to allow me to pick him up for a walk when i missed him! I would gladly recommend Manali for anyone looking for a homely environment for their dog.”

“We are so fortunate to have matched with Michelle! She not only watches Reese, she is active with him everyday, long walks, teaching him tricks, and giving belly scratches! For this visit, Michelle gave extra attention to Reese giving him medication, observing diet restrictions until Reese was on the mend. Michelle cares for Reese as if he were her own and, because of this, we were able to travel knowing that Reese was going to be well cared for and be nursed back to health. Michelle will always be our first choice!”

“We had such a great experience using Shannon's pet sitting services! This was our first time using Rover — and our dog’s first time ever staying with a sitter — so we were a little nervous about how it would go, especially since our Jack Russell is high-energy and a bit mischievous. Shannon was incredibly kind, patient, and easy to communicate with, and she sent tons of adorable updates that really put us at ease. It was clear our pup felt comfortable and happy in her home. The meet and greet was wonderful as well — she and her husband are so down-to-earth, friendly, and genuinely dog-loving. We’re really grateful for the care they provided and absolutely hope to have her watch our dog again in the future. Highly recommend! 🐾 🐶 🌟”
