“This was Jassper’s 3rd stay with Jennifer, and the longest one. We left for one week for a family vacation, and missed our puppy tremendously! Jennifer was very supportive and consistent with leaving us daily reports and photos of Jasper’s days. I especially loved the photos of him hopping and jumping and having fun in their backyard, which shows how relaxed and at home he felt. I love that when Jasper stays with Jennifer, he becomes a part of the family, and is enjoyed by her children and husband as well. About: I have had my own dog and/or taken care of friends and family's dogs for close to 40 years. Now that I'm retired, I am home all day and available for walks, potty breaks, playtime throughout the day and evenings. We have nice walking paths for plenty of socialization or quiet streets for those who are more on the timid side. Work is now a thing of the past, ready to spend time with more furry four-leggers and less time with bossy two-leggers lol. My days are all about my dogs, reading and going for walks. I have a fully fenced yard, not a huge yard though which is why we prefer to go for multiple walks a day for exercise. We have had Mini and teacup poodles, Dachshunds, Goldens, Labs, Labradoodles, Bichons, Schnauzers and other mixed breeds. We have great relationships with all of our pet families. Please note that we may take dogs from 2 families at one time during busy seasons and are well set up to manage this. I can take the time necessary to get up early with your dog and get them walked, fed and settled before I start my day. I have a dog-friendly vehicle and would be happy to take your pup on little adventures with your permission! This could include a trip to the Starbucks drive-thru for a Puppuccino, a visit to a local park, or a doggy playdate if your dog enjoys socializing. Every outing is tailored to your dog’s personality and comfort level. Adventure add-ons are available for an additional charge.

About: I have been a volunteer dog foster in Ottawa for more than 8 years now! No matter the injury, background, or breed, I have learnt to deal with them all. Pet care fills easily in my life as I have been doing it for awhile now! I do work a part-time job and will need to leave for around 5 hours in the day but just me about dates and times and I will adjust my schedule ! I treat everyone with respect! I don’t overcrowd or intrude but make you and your pet feel comfortable in my presence. Frequent contact and communication is a valuable skill of mine

About: I have had dogs for many years. Now that I am retired I am looking to giving back and helping other pet owners. I know that time is limited and sometimes you just need some help. Given my years of experience and my love of dogs, helping dog owners seemed the natural fit. It is a win/win....you get some much needed help and I get to enjoy being with your canine friend! I walk everyday as part of my active lifestyle and love to meet and greet dogs along the way. Seems like the perfect fit to invite your dog along for a scenic walk around the area. I love a brisk walk for my own health benefits and I know from past experience that my dogs always benefited from the same. Whether it was a better sleep or better appetite or being better behaved and ultimately more healthy, a good walk was the answer. I know from being busy in the past, I wasn't always able to get out regularly with my furry friends. If that is you, then that is where I come in to help and keep those walks regular.

About: We're in the process of opening a kennel on our 27 acre homestead, until then, we're here on Rover! Let us give your pets an enriching experience while you're away, and you peace of mind that they are in not one but two sets of good hands. Our dog Styx loves all pets, big and small, but we also have experience and infrastructure for some personal space if your pet takes a little longer to warm up or has special needs. We are currently building a kennel on our wooded retreat, and in the meantime, our home is open! We are home full-time and spend our days outside tending to the property, bringing your pets along, with lots of water and indoor breaks. We have a fenced yard and the house is able to be segmented off depending on the needs (puppy pen, cat area with dogs, cat area dog free, day crated, whatever your comfort is.
