About: Although I’m new to professional pet sitting, I bring something just as valuable: genuine love, patience, and dedication to animals. On the three days I commute to the office, I am still available before and after work, while weekends are fully open. About: Need me to sing to your dog or cat in order to eat or sleep? No problem! I’ve got you covered and my vocal cords warmed up. I’ve been lucky enough to be trusted to care for pets of family and friends over the course of my life whether it be stopping in for potty breaks, walks, engagement time, or while their paw-rents go on vacation. I feel honoured each time I’m asked; I get as much enjoyment out of it as the pets do! My partner and I share responsibility for our cats as my partner works remotely and I work full time as a nurse. On my off days I spend time cuddling with the kitties or walking/caring for my in-laws pup, Daisy. Currently I am unable to board animals due to limited space, but I’m more than happy to adjust to the needs of your pet in your home. I’m comfortable with crates, cleaning litter boxes, changing pee pads, bathing and grooming, and am open to learn the routines of your pets.

About: I have vast experience with high energy, reactive dogs, I've worked hard on my own dog and will use the same level of care and patience with yours I work full time and currently am on an oncall rotation. Any appointments will have to work between that and my wife's work schedule aswell I will first follow any instruction based on what the client asks, plus use my own discretion if I notice anything abnormal. I will inform the client of any misbehavior and help them work through adjustments if necessary

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been caring for them since I was 12 years old. Growing up, I often looked after my neighbours’ cats, dogs, and rabbits while they were away - something i relished, as I wasn't allowed my own pet in the house (excluding fish, which i had many- i took what i could get!). Since moving out I have adopted several cats of my own and have continued to pet sit for friends regularly (both cats and dogs). They know they can always count on me if they need a sitter. :) Caring for animals has always felt like something that comes naturally to me; I love getting to know their individual personalities, routines, and little quirks. Most recently, I have cared, on multiple occasions, for three elderly and sick cats. Each has different health needs, medications, and eating schedules, so I made sure to carefully follow their routines and give each one the attention and care they needed. I also provided regular updates to assuage any understandable fears that the parents had. I’m reliable, responsible, and very attentive, and I understand how much trust goes into leaving your pets in someone else’s care. My goal is always to make your pets feel comfortable and loved while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring hands. I recently moved from Vancouver Island back to my home city of Ottawa and am currently unencumbered by a full-time job. I am available 24/7 for attentive pet care, ranging from walks, feeding and check-ins, to multiple night stays. When caring for your pet in their own home, I want them to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible by keeping their usual routine and giving them plenty of love and attention. I’m happy to take care of their everyday needs, including feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter or bathroom breaks, and administering medications when needed. I’ll take the time to follow any specific instructions you leave me and pay close attention to your pet’s behaviour, making sure they are happy, comfortable, and safe throughout my visit. About: Long before petsitting became a commoditized business, Debbie Ozarko was on the Ottawa scene bringing joy to the lives of dogs and their people with her dog walking service, "We Take the Dogs Out" in 2000. This eventually morphed into, "It’s a Ruff Life Doggie Daycare" which thrived until her move to the British Columbia coast in 2013. Her love for such beautiful intimacy with animals has only deepened over time, and with her return to the Ottawa area she is eager to offer her exceptional services once again. Debbie is also a long-time volunteer with the Rideau Valley Wildlife Sanctuary and the IFAW Northern Dogs Project. Animals truly are her life. Debbie brings it back to what is most meaningful for all: respect, integrity and generosity of spirit—for you, and for your furry, fuzzy and feathered animal companions. Animals are my life! It doesn't matter if they are residents are not, they are all treated with love, kindness, respect, and compassion. My schedule is constructed around their needs first. I have access to several quiet areas where field, forest and streams abound for off-leash romps. If dogs are better with on-leash walks, I'm happy to take them to green spaces where they have access to lots of sniffing to satiate that deep primal canine need. I also provide healthy, grain-free treats...just because. Of course, I offer only these with your approval beforehand.
