With a lifetime of experience caring for a diverse range of pets, from cats and dogs to exotic creatures like snakes and lizards, I promise to treat your beloved pets like my own. Whatever your fur babies need, we do our absolute best to accommodate to make their stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. I understand that some dogs have more energy than others, so we use a baby gate if needed to give everyone a breather so your little loved ones don't get stressed out. We have a high-energy husky that we trained (one of the harder breeds to train), and he is such a good boy. Everyone said potty training him would take 2-4 weeks, and we accomplished it in 7 days by taking him out every 2 hours even during the night. Alarms were set, and out he went. No more puppy pads or accidents in the house at 11 weeks old. If your fur baby is a puppy in need of extra walks for that reason, we are more than happy to help with that. We are able to section off a piece of our living room or kitchen to give senior dogs their own space if needed. Cuddle bugs are always welcome. They will get all the cuddles plus some extra 😊. We do have one set of stairs to our apartment, but if your senior dogs need assistance, I can carry them up and down the stairs; it's not a problem. As well as the administration of any meds they may need. We just need a medication schedule, and away we go. We have a huge park right behind our house for lots of playtime. If you have a high-energy pup I guarantee they will get the stimulation they need. And again, if you have senior dogs that are more laid back, we are set up to make sure everyone is in a comfortable, stress-free environment. We promise to provide the best care and daily updates of your fur babies. They will receive all the love and attention they get at home with you. You can rest assured they are happy and safe. As a pet parent myself, I understand the importance of finding a trustworthy and reliable pet sitter. That's why I've made it my full-time job to provide top-notch care for your pets, giving you peace of mind while you're away. One or both of us are home all day, so your pet will not be left alone for any period of time. In our home, they will have constant supervision. About: I'm lucky to have grown up with dogs my entire life! From a big fluffy husky to a friendly and sweet lab to my adorable 6lb Pekingese/Yorkie, I truly love all breeds and sizes. I've been the primary dog sitter for several friends with their cat/dog. I have invested time taking the PetSmart classes but relate most of my knowledge and care of dogs to my childhood where I was responsible for feeding, bathing, playing, and walking our dog twice+ daily I work remote! I am available for runs throughout the morning, day and evening. During warm summer days, runs are reserved for mornings or evenings only. About: I was the owner and operator of a dog walking and cat sitting business in Stittsville from 2017-2020. I have experience handling dogs of all sizes and personalities. About: Generally, I have grown up surrounded by different animals, including dogs. I used to take our family dog for walks around the block and outside with him a lot. I live with other family who have two medium sized dogs. I talked to them and give them hugs every day and they make me laugh. During the week, my availability varies with more availability on weekends where I am able to dedicate more time to spend with your fur babies. At home, I live with two dogs. They are not my dogs specifically but I will let them outside to let them run around and/or do their business and sometimes I will sit outside with them on the porch and just relax. I am also active in my daily life as I exercise at home and go for long walks everyday down the trail. I like to absorb the nature around me on my walks. It's also a good stress reliever. When I watched over dogs in the past for family members, I would take them for walks, feed them, let them outside, and spend time with them in the house.

I have owned animals my entire life and have 13 years of experience working with animals of all species. I worked at a cat boarding facility and an open admission animal shelter, so I am extremely comfortable around animals with special behaviour or medical needs. I am an active volunteer with a local dog rescue as the Chair & Vetting Director. During my time as a foster home, I have taken in 48 cats / orphan kittens, 14 small animals and 10 dogs (and counting) My fur crew consists of 3 lovely felines, 2 special need dogs and a bearded dragon. ❤ Available in Carleton Place for the following: -Cat visits in the owners home (30 minutes/visit). Visit includes feeding, litterbox cleaning, play time, administering medication if required & basic grooming such as brushing and nails. -Small animal and reptile visits in the owners home (30 minutes / visit). Visit includes feeding, out of cage / tank time and basic cleaning. All home visits can include mail pick-up and plant watering at the owners request. **Due to my work schedule, I am only available for 2 visits per day on weekends** I look forward to meeting you! About: My name is Tamara and I would love the pleasure to look after your dog when you're in need! I've had my own small dog for 14 years now, as well as a 1 year old large dog, and a kitten; so I know all of the love and work that goes into taking care of our little friends. I also have experience caring for farm animals (goats, sheep, and chickens)! My house is within walking distance of a vet and pet supplies, as well as right next to a long trail that is behind my backyard that your dog is sure to love! Since I have a dog myself, your friend will be doing everything with mine, so even if I'm away for an hour or so, they won't ever be by themselves! I'm able to follow any routine that you need and I'll make sure that you're furry friend feels as at home as possible. I work full time as a teacher (8-3), so I'm home pretty early every day. My pets are home while I'm gone, so your furry friend will never be alone. I leave puzzles and enrichment toys for them while I'm gone, and I even have a pet camera so that I can check in on them too. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me! I have a pet camera that you can tune into as well (while I'm gone), if that's something you'd be interested in. I will treat your furry friend just like I would my own; with love, care, and patience!

About: About Kaitlyn I always had dogs growing up. I was employed at a dog daycare & boarding facility for 3 years and love being around dogs and creating a safe space for them to grow and learn! I am currently working full time throughout the months of April-November. During lay off season with work I do have a part time job during the week but willing do walk after work. 5:30 pm-7:00pm :) I am a firm believer in real emotional connection with dogs, just like people. Affection and creative play are my favourite activities, and on walks l aspire to create a comfortable environment to exercise and do their business. I'm not a professional dog trainer, but know the basic knowledge and skills for a nice, easy, and enjoyable walk!

About: Long before petsitting became a commoditized business, Debbie Ozarko was on the Ottawa scene bringing joy to the lives of dogs and their people with her dog walking service, "We Take the Dogs Out" in 2000. This eventually morphed into, "It’s a Ruff Life Doggie Daycare" which thrived until her move to the British Columbia coast in 2013. Her love for such beautiful intimacy with animals has only deepened over time, and with her return to the Ottawa area she is eager to offer her exceptional services once again. Debbie is also a long-time volunteer with the Rideau Valley Wildlife Sanctuary and the IFAW Northern Dogs Project. Animals truly are her life. Debbie brings it back to what is most meaningful for all: respect, integrity and generosity of spirit—for you, and for your furry, fuzzy and feathered animal companions. Animals are my life! It doesn't matter if they are residents are not, they are all treated with love, kindness, respect, and compassion. My schedule is constructed around their needs first. I have access to several quiet areas where field, forest and streams abound for off-leash romps. If dogs are better with on-leash walks, I'm happy to take them to green spaces where they have access to lots of sniffing to satiate that deep primal canine need. I also provide healthy, grain-free treats...just because. Of course, I offer only these with your approval beforehand.
