About: I'm a lifelong dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments—from tiny Boston Terriers to gentle giants like Great Danes. I've helped raise puppies, cared for senior dogs, and supported rescue pups as they transition into their new homes. I’m comfortable managing multi-dog households, having looked after up to five dogs at once, including providing post-operative care and administering medications when needed. Currently, I share my home with two amazing dogs of my own—Hank, a Dogo Argentino, and Harley, a Cane Corso—who bring so much joy and love into my life. I treat every dog I care for like family and always aim to provide a safe, calm, and loving environment while their humans are away. I currently work part-time as a Registered Massage Therapist and have the flexibility to set my own schedule, which allows me to be available when you and your pup need me most. I'm fully available Friday through Monday, and with a little notice, I can often accommodate Tuesdays through Thursdays as well. This flexibility means I can provide consistent care and attention, whether it’s for a quick drop-in or extended stays. I’m lucky to have 33 beautiful acres for my pups to explore, so they get plenty of space to roam and enjoy the outdoors. But we never go it alone—I'm always right there with them, whether we're hiking through the woods, wandering the trails, or playing with their favorite toys. When we're inside, you'd never guess how adventurous they are—because they instantly transform into the biggest lap dogs! They love nothing more than curling up for cuddles, getting cozy in bed, and enjoying their favorite treat: relaxing coconut oil massages.
About: I grew up around all sorts of dogs. We had a family dog ever since I was a child, however she has passed away recently, I now have 3 cats that I rescued, but I do miss having a dog around! My sister has 2 dogs that I always look after during weekends. I enjoy taking care of dogs, love going on long walks and playing with them! I’m currently a university student. In my free time I love to stay active and be outside. I enjoy going on nature walks especially with the company of a four legged friend. I make sure they always have water available to them, and food according to their schedule. I walk them, play with them and assure they are more then content!
About: Hi there! I’m Amanda — a lifelong animal lover and physiotherapist who also completed the Canine Rehabilitation program. I grew up at the stable, surrounded by animals my entire life, so caring for dogs and cats has always come naturally to me. I got my first dog for my ninth birthday and have since cared for pets from puppies to senior dogs well into their golden years. I currently share my home with two wonderful dogs, including one rescue pup I personally rehabilitated through patience, structure, and love. As a physiotherapist and certified canine rehab specialist, I have a strong understanding of mobility, comfort, and safe handling—especially for dogs recovering from injury, dealing with arthritis, or needing a bit of extra care. Whether it’s a playful pup, a gentle senior, or a pet who needs a little confidence and TLC, I treat every animal as if they were my own. You can count on me to provide warm, knowledgeable, and reliable care so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m available for pet care during the day, evenings, and weekends. Since I’m home most of the time, your pets will get plenty of attention, love, and companionship throughout the day — just like they would with family. When caring for others’ pets, I always take the time to listen to their owners and follow each animal’s usual routine. I believe consistency and respect are key to helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for — just like they would at home.

Both dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly enjoyed their time with her. She was professional, reliable, and very respectful of my home. I would definitely recommend her and look forward to booking with her again!”

“Becky was amazing with the girls. We went out of town for a day trip and she was able to pop into our place twice to let them out, give them some cuddles, treats and dinner. It was a relief to get updates throughout the day after each visit. Also my princess Penny who doesn't usually eat when something is different in her routine ate while she visited...what a releif. About: I’ve been watching dogs for 7 years now. I love all types of dogs. But the first dog I ever got close to was a pitbull. He was the first over night dog sit/house sit. I ever did, the couple would travel often due to work. So I would dog sit about 2/3 times a week. I did that for about two years and gained a lot of experience with dogs due to that job. I also find dog walking a great way to stay healthy and active with out it feeling like a work out. I’ve enjoyed dogging sitting ever since I started and don’t plan to stop. So for now that I can’t get a dog of my own. I’ll just watch yours ! Just send me a message and ill send you my number so we can set up a meeting. Price is negotiable. I’m currently a full time student online so I’m looking to make cash while staying active and happy and what a better way than to pet sit. I’ve loved animal since I was a little girl so being around them always brings me joy and as you’ll see they take a liking to me as well. Even the pups you think won’t, always end up loving me as well. I live in a very spacious one bedroom apartment with a balcony alone so they always feel free and nice fresh air. There is a courtyard in my building that is dog friendly and three dog parks near my building as well. So they will always have room to run and be themselves. I am a full time online student so I would be spending my whole day with your pups. They would always be in great care with love and attention. I have a nice courtyard in my building that’s pet friendly and they can play and I also have three dog parks in my area. Where they can run around and meet new pups if allowed I am currently an full time online student so I would be with your pup the whole day. If you’d like to hear my specific daily routine let me know 😊 I usually stick to the routine a parent gives me so they can feel as comfortable as possible while staying with me or if I’m staying in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
