Nicole and Eddie were great, I needed someone to walk my dogs when I went into labour, they were very flexible with planning and quick to respond when I needed them last minute. They were on time for all walks, and our dogs seemed to have a great time!

About: Not only have I had pets my whole life, but I’ve been trusted by family, friends and neighbours to pet sit since I was 13. Ive pet sit for cats, dogs and birds. I do not currently have any pets in my apartment but my roommate and I have cat sit multiple times in the past 3 months for some friends! I am enthusiastic about animals and love to come up with games and activities that are mentally (and physically) stimulating for them! I work full time from 9-5 (not remotely) Monday to Friday. I can stop in at lunch as well if needed! I head straight home after work and would be able to walk/play with your pets before/after those hours. I am home on the weekends and am happy to take your pet for runs (I love to run), walks, and to parks to play some games (on a long leash). I live in a house with an unfenced backyard. All pets are welcome on the couches and beds! :) We have many dog parks and large fenced areas I can take your pet out to! If I am going to your home, I would make sure some cuddle/attention time is allotted separate from the walks and adventures we will go on.

About: Joelhyn has been a dog walker and dog sitter since she was about 14 or 15 years old. She started by babysitting and those families entrusted her with their pets while the family was away, to care for and clean their dogs and cats. She also walked dogs for some of the older neighbours in the area who couldn’t do it themselves anymore. Shes taken many different kinds of dogs on walks, given them baths, fed them to specific instructions and played with them till the sun went down! Kyle has owned pets his whole life, always having two dogs in the house as well as two cats and various types of reptiles or rodents throughout the household too, so specific instructions for pets is not uncommon for him. He loves to play with any type of pet & loves to go on walks with them. Joelhyn is currently working and in school both part time but would love to spend her spare days with your lovely furry friends! Kyle is in school part time as well & we both own vehicles so getting around is no problem for us! One of us should always be available to care for your pets! Bigger dogs will almost always go to Kyle but he loves the smaller pets too! Assuring doors or gates are closed before bringing animals outside & always ensuring collars and leashes are on before going outside and before leaving a clients home. Walking dogs in a safe area and making sure to give them lots of time to walk or run as well as bringing poop bags to properly dispose of later on. We would love to do a meet and greet so you feel comfortable with us & get to know your pet!

About: Please read my full profile to ensure you have all the information you need! Currently only able to accept permanent part-time or full-time clients Monday-Friday in Perth and Lanark area in late afternoon. Thank you for checking out my profile! My name is Josee and a HUGE animal lover. I’ve been exposed to dogs, cats and other animals my whole life. I love to walk and hike with my own dog, as well as train and provide enrichment activities. Whether it’s a daily walk, a quick drop-in, if you have a puppy or senior senior dog, you can count on me to ensure that your pet is happy, safe, and comfortable. I thrive on giving pets what they need—from walks to enrichment, snuggles, training, or just being a companion while you’re away. I am a confident handler and very respectful to each dogs wants and needs based on behavior, body language, and breed. I am confident in handling your nervous, difficult, or anxious dog if this is a concern. As a reactive dog owner, I understand it can be difficult or frustrating taking them out or ensuring that they’ve had enough mental stimulation and exercise during the day. I also have my certificate in canine nutrition (Cert.CN) - helping dogs live their best and healthiest lives through diet, exercise and stress-free living. I’m highly respectful of your dogs’ individual needs, if they have a routine to follow and I will do whatever is needed to ensure that you feel comfortable with leaving your furry friend in my care—I will treat your pet as my own. Prior to scheduling, I like to do a face-to-face meeting before beginning my services. I am available days, early evenings and the occasional weekend for clients who are scheduling regularly. When caring for your loved one(s), I will begin by assessing your dogs’ behavior and comfort level upon each visit. I am highly respectful of house rules and routines and will always advocate for your pet. **PRICING & SCHEDULING** Please contact me for pricing and service schedules as prices listed on Rover are not firm. Katie is the most reliable, most trustworthy dog lover I have ever had since I got rover years ago. My dog has leash anxiety and freaks out about the strangest things. Katie deals with that no problem, her loving and calm demeanor is exactly what my pup needs. And now Pippi waits for her daily walkie with Katie at the door in anticipation. She takes her for longer walks on days the dog is full of beans and will play with her in the yard on days its too hot or rainy. Katie is there for the dog and always treats my baby with love. Katie is THE ONE.

About: I've been around animals from a very young age. I've always loved spending time with them and taking care of them. People who know me have said that my calm nature attracts all the animals. I've done pet sitting for free for all my friends and families just for the love of it. I have experience in training puppies, taking care of senior pets and pets with high needs in need of accomodations. I have more experience with dog sitting, and at least 5 years of cat sitting and some rat sitting as well. I love nothing more than to spend time with your fur babies. I'm an advocate for mandatory daily playtime for all pets. I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to work from home and choose my hours. This allows me to prioritize my time based on needs of your pets. I will want to know more about your dogs daily routine, schedule, favorite play, comfort levels and personalities and I will care for them accordingly

About: Long before petsitting became a commoditized business, Debbie Ozarko was on the Ottawa scene bringing joy to the lives of dogs and their people with her dog walking service, "We Take the Dogs Out" in 2000. This eventually morphed into, "It’s a Ruff Life Doggie Daycare" which thrived until her move to the British Columbia coast in 2013. Her love for such beautiful intimacy with animals has only deepened over time, and with her return to the Ottawa area she is eager to offer her exceptional services once again. Debbie is also a long-time volunteer with the Rideau Valley Wildlife Sanctuary and the IFAW Northern Dogs Project. Animals truly are her life. Debbie brings it back to what is most meaningful for all: respect, integrity and generosity of spirit—for you, and for your furry, fuzzy and feathered animal companions. Animals are my life! It doesn't matter if they are residents are not, they are all treated with love, kindness, respect, and compassion. My schedule is constructed around their needs first. I have access to several quiet areas where field, forest and streams abound for off-leash romps. If dogs are better with on-leash walks, I'm happy to take them to green spaces where they have access to lots of sniffing to satiate that deep primal canine need. I also provide healthy, grain-free treats...just because. Of course, I offer only these with your approval beforehand.

About: I am a registered veterinary technician who works at an emergency clinic. I have been working with animals my whole life. I have been fostering dogs for the last 5 years, providing them with training and helping them find their forever homes once they are ready. I have recently started boarding dogs at my house as I moved to a farm and had the land and space to run them and give them everything they need. I would offer additional services with my boarding if the client would like, these services would included training, nail trims, ear cleanings, etc. I have two high energy dogs who need a lot of time running off leash per day. I am always taking them in the bush, on the trails, on hikes or on bike rides to tire them out. The best suited dog to board with me would be one that is successful off leash with recall, as we spend 2 hours per day off leash in the bush as well as off leash time in my yard. I live on 5 acres so there is many opportunity to run and play. My dogs are very good with new dogs coming into our home as they are use to me bringing home new fosters very often. Both of them are crate trained, place trained and e collar trained and are very respectful of other dogs space. They like to wrestle and play when the time is right, and know when it is time to rest. My dogs know that outside is play time, and when we are inside that is their time to rest either on their beds or in their crates.

Jessica is incredible. She kindly squeezed our girl Ciera in last minute when we were sick and unable to get out with her. She is a wonderful person, extremely pleasant and always keeps us updated with pictures on how much fun Ciera is having. She was very happy and very tired from her day on the trail. 100% recommended.
