About: Hi, my name is Vitoria Chambers and I have been on Rover for a few years. I have experience pet sitting for dogs, cats, and birds of all ages. I am able to administer medication. I love to make/come up with fun, stimulating activities for your pets, such as puzzles, interactive walks/training, etc. I work full time from 9-5 (not remotely) Monday to Friday. I would stop in at lunch. I head straight home after work and would be able to walk/play with your pets before/after those hours. I am home on the weekends and am happy to take your pet for runs, walks, and parks. I live in a house with an unfenced backyard. All pets are welcome on the couches and beds! :) We have many dog parks and large fenced areas I can take your pet out to! If I am going to your home, I would make sure some cuddle/attention time is allotted separate from the walks and adventures we will go on.

I understand how difficult it can be to leave your precious pets with someone you’ve never met. That’s why I make it a priority to provide plenty of updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while your pets are in my care. Dog walking is my main focus, though I offer sitting and drop in services also. I’d love to become a reliable part of your dog’s routine! Whether your pup needs some extra exercise, a chance to get outside during the day, or simply some attention and companionship, I’m happy to help. I’m a very active person and genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors with dogs, so dog walking is a perfect fit for me. I’ve cared for dogs of many different sizes and breeds, including Doodles, Mini Goldendoodles, Maltese, and Golden Retrievers and more! I understand that every dog is different, and that breed, age, personality, and energy level can all play a role in what they need. I always take these things into consideration and tailor each walk and visit to the individual dog. As a self employed personal trainer, I have the flexibility to create my own schedule, which allows me to offer daytime walks and home visits and give your pets the time and attention they deserve. I’m also available for pet sitting when you’re away! Whether your dog needs a daily walk, a quick home visit for some company and care, or someone to look after them while you’re away, I’d love to help. I work part time and create my own schedule, half my work is from home so I am only away for a maximum of 4 hours at a time per day. For walks I typically have availability in the late mornings, afternoons and evenings! I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs. I carefully follow all care instructions provided by the owner and make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and supervised while in my care. During walks, I’m attentive to my surroundings and always prioritize your pet’s safety. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for!

About: Hi! I’m Adrienne. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy, whether that’s going for long walks, providing companionship, or making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I currently own two amazing dogs - a 9-year-old German Shepherd and a 4-year-old Alaskan Malamute mix - so I’m very familiar with caring for large, active breeds and understanding that every dog has their own unique personality and needs. I’m an active, reliable, and organized person who loves spending time outdoors. Whether your dog enjoys leisurely neighbourhood strolls, longer walks on local trails, or simply having someone to keep them company, I’d be happy to help. I have experience with dog walking, pet sitting, and caring for both dogs and cats, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind while providing your pets with the love, attention, and care they deserve. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! I work for myself in Almonte so my schedule can (sometimes) be flexible! I work Tuesday - Saturday primarily and my days off are Sundays & Mondays. About: Need me to sing to your dog or cat in order to eat or sleep? No problem! I’ve got you covered and my vocal cords warmed up. I’ve been lucky enough to be trusted to care for pets of family and friends over the course of my life whether it be stopping in for potty breaks, walks, engagement time, or while their paw-rents go on vacation. I feel honoured each time I’m asked; I get as much enjoyment out of it as the pets do! My partner and I share responsibility for our cats as my partner works remotely and I work full time as a nurse. On my off days I spend time cuddling with the kitties or walking/caring for my in-laws pup, Daisy. Currently I am unable to board animals due to limited space, but I’m more than happy to adjust to the needs of your pet in your home. I’m comfortable with crates, cleaning litter boxes, changing pee pads, bathing and grooming, and am open to learn the routines of your pets.

About: Hi! I'm Angela. I'm 26 years old and I'm a student at Carleton University. I love animals very much (especially dogs and cats) and I look forward to taking care of your pet(s)! I'm located in the Nepean area of Ottawa and I am able to relocate for your pet’s needs. I was born and raised in Toronto where I grew up with several dogs in my lifetime. Right now, I have an 11 year old cockapoo named Zeus (he doesn't live with me) so I have tons of experience with dogs and their many, many needs! Zeus is also a senior citizen with hip dysplasia, so I understand the importance of patience and gentleness when it comes to caring for senior dogs and cats. I take pride in making sure that the dogs I'm taking care of are always walked, exercised, fed/well-rested. All dogs are welcome! I provide basically all services offered on Rover. As a settler in Ottawa, I recognize that I am on the traditional, unceded, and unsurrendered territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation. I offer free compassionate care for Indigenous dog owners, and discounted rates for low-income or disabled dog owners. Ask me about the free services I provide! (E.g bathing, playtime, etc). Other than that, my availability is quite open. I accept same-day bookings. I have a fenced yard and a big schoolyard very close to where I live - I'm extremely active, so frequent walks are my speciality. Younger dogs or highly active dogs are more than welcome. Senior dogs, or doggies who require more frequent potty breaks are also more than welcome.

About: I have been a volunteer dog foster in Ottawa for more than 8 years now! No matter the injury, background, or breed, I have learnt to deal with them all. Pet care fills easily in my life as I have been doing it for awhile now! I do work a part-time job and will need to leave for around 5 hours in the day but just me about dates and times and I will adjust my schedule ! I treat everyone with respect! I believe pets are happiest in their own familiar environment, so I care for them in their home where they feel safe and comfortable. I value routine and clear communication, and before each booking, I like to go over your pet’s routine, personality, and any important dos and don’ts. Safety is always my priority. For dogs, I avoid dog parks and interactions with unfamiliar dogs until I know their communication and comfort level. My goal is simple: to keep your pet happy, safe, comfortable, and cared for like family while you’re away. ❤️ I work strictly overnight shifts at an animal hospital, giving me flexible daytime availability to care for your pets with plenty of time and attention. I don’t care for pets in my own home because I strongly believe in the comfort and security of their familiar surroundings. When pet parents are away, I believe the least stressful option is for a sitter to come to them—allowing pets to stay in their own space, routine, and comfort zone.
