“Nicole and Eddie were great, I needed someone to walk my dogs when I went into labour, they were very flexible with planning and quick to respond when I needed them last minute. They were on time for all walks, and our dogs seemed to have a great time!”

About: Hello! I have over 18 years of experience in cat sitting. I had two cats during high school that I looked after and for a few years after that. I then moved out and after begging my parents for a dog for a long time, my partner and I decided to get one. We have one terrier mix who is almost 9. About 12 years ago I babysat for a family, which soon turned into looking after their family dog when they went on vacation. I did that for about a year then we moved. At this point I have several past clients who can provide references for me. I work a full time job but work from home so this allows me flexibility for dog walking during the daytime still and doing house visits. The longest I have cared for a families pet is two weeks, so I can do long term sitting if required. Please message me if interested and I look forward to hearing about your fur pets! I work full time and have two kids. I can pet sit in the mornings, midday on my lunch, and once in the evening. On Sunday’s I am always fully available and Saturdays I work so it’s the same schedule as weekdays. I will follow any instructions provided and crate as required only. I prefer clients with fenced in yards but if not possible than it would be a walk visit.

About: I was the owner and operator of a dog walking and cat sitting business in Stittsville from 2017-2020. I have experience handling dogs of all sizes and personalities. I was working in the corporate world the last few years but due to some changes am now looking into getting back into the pet care industry - I am currently available for dog walking and drop in visits Monday through Friday as well as some weekends! See my calendar for my current availability :) I offer drop in visits in your home for both dogs and cats but am always willing to follow any instructions you need to make both you and your pets comfortable.

About: I am a registered veterinary technician who works at an emergency clinic. I have been working with animals my whole life. I have been fostering dogs for the last 5 years, providing them with training and helping them find their forever homes once they are ready. I have recently started boarding dogs at my house as I moved to a farm and had the land and space to run them and give them everything they need. I would offer additional services with my boarding if the client would like, these services would included training, nail trims, ear cleanings, etc. I have two high energy dogs who need a lot of time running off leash per day. I am always taking them in the bush, on the trails, on hikes or on bike rides to tire them out. The best suited dog to board with me would be one that is successful off leash with recall, as we spend 2 hours per day off leash in the bush as well as off leash time in my yard. I live on 5 acres so there is many opportunity to run and play. My dogs are very good with new dogs coming into our home as they are use to me bringing home new fosters very often. Both of them are crate trained, place trained and e collar trained and are very respectful of other dogs space. They like to wrestle and play when the time is right, and know when it is time to rest. My dogs know that outside is play time, and when we are inside that is their time to rest either on their beds or in their crates.

I look forward to meeting any and all new fur babies. With many years of pet care experience, I excel in providing the love & attention tailored to each pet's unique needs. My background in puppy training, ensuring your little ones learn essential commands and good behavior while you're away are just one of my strengths in providing care for your fur family. About: Long before petsitting became a commoditized business, Debbie Ozarko was on the Ottawa scene bringing joy to the lives of dogs and their people with her dog walking service, "We Take the Dogs Out" in 2000. This eventually morphed into, "It’s a Ruff Life Doggie Daycare" which thrived until her move to the British Columbia coast in 2013. Her love for such beautiful intimacy with animals has only deepened over time, and with her return to the Ottawa area she is eager to offer her exceptional services once again. Debbie is also a long-time volunteer with the Rideau Valley Wildlife Sanctuary and the IFAW Northern Dogs Project. Animals truly are her life. Debbie brings it back to what is most meaningful for all: respect, integrity and generosity of spirit—for you, and for your furry, fuzzy and feathered animal companions. Animals are my life! It doesn't matter if they are residents are not, they are all treated with love, kindness, respect, and compassion. My schedule is constructed around their needs first. I have access to several quiet areas where field, forest and streams abound for off-leash romps. If dogs are better with on-leash walks, I'm happy to take them to green spaces where they have access to lots of sniffing to satiate that deep primal canine need. I also provide healthy, grain-free treats...just because. Of course, I offer only these with your approval beforehand.

About: Hello! I currently have an old gal at home named Tilly, she's an 8 year old Boxer Staffy who may have a tough bark, but is the sweetest girl! She's had plenty of visitors in her life time, and is always looking for new friends! You shall have no worries about your pet(s) with her or I around, she loves going on walks, playing fetch and is a HUGE lover of the water! I have cared for and owned many pets in my life time, not only dogs, and if I could have an at home sanctuary I would, but I'm not sure my partner would let me just yet! I look forward to caring for your pet(s) and making new friends! I am currently on month 2 of my maternity leave, I had my son in late October of 2024, so I have had a lot of free time on my hands, and adding some excitement with pets is just up my alley! If I were to host pets, I do have one dog so they would have a playmate, our yard is not fenced in but daily walks are a must with our girl, so yours will join too!

2. Cassie C.
“Cassie is exceptional. We started out having her watch my son, and now that he's older I have her watch my dog and gecko whenever possible. She is so reliable and confirms everything in writing days before she arrives. She is prompt and always does more than we ask. She is smart and so easy to communicate with, she replies immediately to texts and is eager and excited to look after my boys. Most importantly, she is kind. I can truly tell she loves Finnegan and wants to do her best to make sure he is well-taken care of. My gecko too! She sends me end of the day updates and pictures of how the boys are and what they did/are doing. She has messaged me on occasion whenever there is anything unexpected and often has voluntarily spent her own money to make sure the boys (Finnegan and Leo) are in good keeping. I cannot tell you enough great things about her, she's a god-send to me (my dog hates boarding) and I cannot do without her. I would pay her double what she asks no question, and I would leave (and have left) my son and animals with her days and night for a period of time. She is amazing and would be a huge asset to any client. My email is there you can freely give to any prospective clients, I am happy to go on about how awesome she is. Sincerely Tammy Jones”
