About: My previous Doggo had epilepsy for 9 years before he passed, and was on an array of medications. I am extremely comfortable with administrating medications and following strict scheduled for medications/feedings. Ive also had cats for 4 years, so I am comfortable with the cat litter, playing, petting, cuddles. All my dogs have been 80+ lbs, so no issues with big breeds, for playing or walking. Also very comfortable with smaller dog breeds. I am an animal lover who is ready to be of assistance to you and your furry loved one. I will also provide updates/pictures so you know your fur-friend is in good hands! I currently work a flexible schedule Monday-Friday, and am off on the weekends. About: I'm a lifelong dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments—from tiny Boston Terriers to gentle giants like Great Danes. I've helped raise puppies, cared for senior dogs, and supported rescue pups as they transition into their new homes. I’m comfortable managing multi-dog households, having looked after up to five dogs at once, including providing post-operative care and administering medications when needed. Currently, I share my home with two amazing dogs of my own—Hank, a Dogo Argentino, and Harley, a Cane Corso—who bring so much joy and love into my life. I treat every dog I care for like family and always aim to provide a safe, calm, and loving environment while their humans are away. I currently work part-time as a Registered Massage Therapist and have the flexibility to set my own schedule, which allows me to be available when you and your pup need me most. I'm fully available Friday through Monday, and with a little notice, I can often accommodate Tuesdays through Thursdays as well. This flexibility means I can provide consistent care and attention, whether it’s for a quick drop-in or extended stays. I’m lucky to have 33 beautiful acres for my pups to explore, so they get plenty of space to roam and enjoy the outdoors. But we never go it alone—I'm always right there with them, whether we're hiking through the woods, wandering the trails, or playing with their favorite toys. When we're inside, you'd never guess how adventurous they are—because they instantly transform into the biggest lap dogs! They love nothing more than curling up for cuddles, getting cozy in bed, and enjoying their favorite treat: relaxing coconut oil massages.
“Becky was amazing with the girls. We went out of town for a day trip and she was able to pop into our place twice to let them out, give them some cuddles, treats and dinner. It was a relief to get updates throughout the day after each visit. Also my princess Penny who doesn't usually eat when something is different in her routine ate while she visited...what a releif. Cinder my social butterfly just loved having someone around for a visit and treats. Would definitely recommend Becky and will call on her again when needed in the future.”

About: Hi there! I’m Amanda — a lifelong animal lover and physiotherapist who also completed the Canine Rehabilitation program. I grew up at the stable, surrounded by animals my entire life, so caring for dogs and cats has always come naturally to me. I got my first dog for my ninth birthday and have since cared for pets from puppies to senior dogs well into their golden years. I currently share my home with two wonderful dogs, including one rescue pup I personally rehabilitated through patience, structure, and love. As a physiotherapist and certified canine rehab specialist, I have a strong understanding of mobility, comfort, and safe handling—especially for dogs recovering from injury, dealing with arthritis, or needing a bit of extra care. Whether it’s a playful pup, a gentle senior, or a pet who needs a little confidence and TLC, I treat every animal as if they were my own. You can count on me to provide warm, knowledgeable, and reliable care so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m available for pet care during the day, evenings, and weekends. Since I’m home most of the time, your pets will get plenty of attention, love, and companionship throughout the day — just like they would with family. When caring for others’ pets, I always take the time to listen to their owners and follow each animal’s usual routine. I believe consistency and respect are key to helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for — just like they would at home.
“Jenna was our first successful foray into having someone come in house to walk, play with, and give our three dogs their mid-day break. They were so happy when we arrived home, and it was seamless and stress free working with her.”

“Katie was the best thing to happen to me and Mowgli. Having someone who cares so much about your pet takes away so much stress when travelling. She’s attentive and committed and had my somewhat not always social cat purring away with her. Highly recommend!”

About: I have owned and cared for dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets my whole life. I enjoy the physical aspect of having furry friends around as well as the companionship! There is nothing I do not enjoy about caring for and spending time with animals! I have experience with a variety of animals and breeds of various ages and stages of their life. I am extremely capable of administering medications, treatments or any other plan you may have your pup on. In terms of activity, I will gear this towards what I know about your dog and what you prefer they do! Should this be walks, runs or play time outdoors, I am willing to meet your needs. We are an active household would love nothing more than to spend time outdoors with your pup! *Please note, for larger older dogs, that I live in a 3 story townhome. Should your pup be too big to carry and incapable of doing several sets of steps, this may not be the home for you :) As I prepare to study for my legal Licensing exams, I will be home all for the next six months to give your pup all the love and attention they deserve! Should there be an occasion where I must go out, my partner may stay home from work to accommodate! Despite my need to study, I love being active and so does my partner! Should your dog require extra walks or exercise, we would love to have them join us ! At minimum, we will include your furry friend on 3 large walks a day. Please continue reading for a description of our daily schedule: Morning: My partner and myself both wake up by about 7am. My partner typically leaves early, while I will be home to study and care for your furry friends. In the morning I will grab coffee and go for a walk of about 30 minutes before 8am, letting your pup out to pee as needed beforehand. Afternoon: In the afternoon, I often aim to go for about 1 hour of a walk minimum. I will go through the forest or alongside our neighborhood which is a quiet and less populated area of Ottawa. In doing so, there is plenty of room and opportunity to roam around should your pup enjoy such activities. Evening: Before dinner, I often like to walk for about 20 minutes prior to giving dinner. After we have all eaten, myself and my partner typically walk for about 45 minutes to one hour. In the evening, we enjoy down time at home, often reading or watching TV. Your furry friend will hang out with us! Before bed, there will be opportunity for one last walk or at least a pee! ** Note that walks and breaks will be given generously throughout the day. There will never be more than a 1-2 hour period without an outdoor break. Myself and my partner are both young professionals. My partner works as an IT consultant in a hybrid model while I work and study from home! We reside in a three story townhome, with ample room for your pup to run free and explore. There is nowhere in our home that is off limits to animals. We do not have a closed in backyard, but rather have our pee breaks in front of the home which faces a large forest and field. When I care for others pets, I typically set alarms for a walk or pee every 45 minutes to 1 hours. This ensures a check in or small pee break will never be forgotten in case of animals not knowing where to alert to go outside. With this in mind, I often take large and longer walks in between pee breaks in order to better break up the day. Please see the Schedule section to see a predicted daily schedule. Despite this, we are active individuals who love to walk and explore, ensuring your pup will have lots of opportunities to pee and explore as they wish 🐶. Please note, we have plenty of room for a crate should your dog require, but we do not posses one at the moment!

I am not shy with large intact males as I have lots of experience with reassurance, consistency, obedience and dominance as well as recent experience dog sitting and caring for long term two gun dog hound breeds which I love their drive and energy! I have the patience and tolerance for some of the attitude and energy levels of those breeds. They made me fall in love with bird and hunting breed dogs even more! I have had a few dogs as puppies so I do have experience with the basic obedience and training skills. I have experience with medications, injections and wound care for animals as well as 15 years as a registered nurse for caring for humans! I am practiced with nail trimming with large dogs with anxiety behaviours. I enjoy and am comfortable with puppies and senior dog care! My nursing background has made me unbothered by messes and sickness which is helpful in caring for puppies and senior doggies! I genuinely love dogs and most animals I find alot of joy in caring for others and animals 😊 I am currently on a leave from nursing and am looking to find joyful and some financial support through working with great hounds and pups I am a registered nurse with a live se in goodstanding, I have cared for people and pets with the utmost respect and love! I am looking to walk dogs mainly but am also available for drop ins and house pet sitting if it aligns with my life. I am very observant, caring and great at documenting anything that may look out of the normal and going well with your furry friends.
About: For future reference; will not be accepting non neutered or spayed cats/dogs unless accompanied by a crate, especially if their not trained please. I do have one myself, so not that you need to have one per se but allow use if necessary! This is partially for Henrys experience too, so please keep that in mind when reading this; its not to be snarky. I have trained two dogs growing up who have above average listening and response times. Positive reinforcement was key to my success, psychology paid off. One was a rescue dog; she was such a sweet heart but it took some time getting her to open up based off her traumatic experiences prior to entering the adoption location she luckily found her way too. Henry on the other hand, was purchased from a breeder, so fortunately for him less baggage, and unfortunately for her given the circumstances. I've done dog sitting/pet care for family dogs when family members would go on vacation for anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks. Medication administration is a non issue, as well as grooming is another area I take great pride in doing myself, as it's a good trait to have being a pet owner. Have cared for puppies, adult or senior dogs; we were a dog first family growing up so I've grown to love them more than you can realize just through descriptions; with my active daily lifestyle it allows for the animals to gain as much out of exercise as I do and working from home helps as well. I treat animals as if their my family or children, so they'd receive the same treatment one would expect from a friend baby sitting their children. Seamlessly; he wakes up when I do and is let out accordingly at 4 AM we go for multiple walks a day most notably 430 AM and 530 PM. I work from home so it makes it very manageable to get him outside for bathroom breaks within 2-2.5 hour interval periods. I'd like to think we both operate at a high level through one another. We feed off one another, so when he's upbeat I am too, but when I'm down he has his tricks that ensure a great therapeutic touch. I treat them as if their my children; I speak to them in a way they understand with words or phrases we've practiced or has practiced to ensure optimal success in regards to understanding one another. Henry and I like to play often with his toys or just horsing around with Belly rubs and chasing him around the house. He sleeps with me too, so no furniture is off limits as I usually have blankets or other covers in place to manage hair loss.
